Acrobat Reader

In einer Word-Datei (*.docx) sind Hyperlinks zu diversen Dateien/Speicherorten mittels UNC-Pfad (\\servername\Freigabename\Dateiname) hinterlegt. In diesen Hyperlinks wird auf diverse Dateiarten wie Word-Dokumente, PDF-Dateien, OFT-Dateien verwiesen. Ein Mausklick auf den jeweiligen Hyperlink öffnet auch ohne Probleme die dazugehörige Anwendung: UNC-Pfad auf Fileserver -> Windows Explorer*.pdf -> Adobe Acrobat Reader*.docx -> Word*.oft -> Outlook etc. Also bis hierhin alles bestens, ABER:Wird das Word-Dokument als PDF abgespeichert und klickt man nun im Adobe Reader die Hyperlinks an, so wird alles im Edge-Browser angezeigt bzw. heruntergeladen: UNC-Pfad auf Fileserver -> Edge mit „komischer“ Anzeige (funktioniert aber)*.pdf -> Anzeige im Edge Browser*.docx -> Anzeige im Edge Browser*.oft -> Download der Datei Wo finde ich die Einstellung, dass angeklickte Hyperlinks in einem Adobe Reader Dokument nicht im Edge Browser, sondern mit der jeweil

Dear all, sadly the signature fields are missing when opening the pdf form on mobile device like iPhone or Android. On the PC everything works quite fine but I'll need employees to sign the forms on their mobile device. Any ideas? Best,Jannick

The notes and markups I took on a PDF in the Reader application have disappeared, how can I restore them?       

I tried to print a PDF. A photo of the screen of some of the text (sharp, black text): However, the printed paper has holes in the black letters, which aren't that black anyways:  This looks blurry and grayish and is harder to read. Is this the printer's fault? I don't think so because when I copied the text to MS Word and printed that, I got much crisper black text: I tried printing in grayscale and trying different checkboxes in the Color Management (in advanced print setup) but it always prints blurry, grayish, holey text.

I can't begin to explain my frustration with Adobe help. Your customer care might as well be customer "we don't care" as the most help you offer is dependent upon getting help from others in forums or a bunch of tips that don't help.   To my knowledge, I have downloaded Adobe DC. I even uninstalled and re installed Adobe DC. Now, every time I try to open documents attached to Yahoo I get a message: The document you are trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher. You may not have the Adobe Reader installed or your viewing environment may not be properly configured to use Adobe Reader.   For information on how to install Adobe Reader and configure your viewing environment please see  http://www.adobe.com/go/pdf_forms_configure.   Even when I Google I-9 form and try to open the document.....same message.   Any help, please.

Hello, i wanted to ask you,how to disable the automatic opening of a PDF file when saving it e.g. from MS Word? Every time I save a PDF file, the file window automatically opens in Adobe - I would like to disable this, is this possible or where can I do it? Thank you.

Buenos dias,Confío en que puedan ayudarme.Desde ayer  no me permite realizar firmas en pdf  antes operaba con normalidad ahora no puedo.Si puedo autentificarme con la firma en los diferentes sites(dgt,ayuntamiento etc).La firma está autentificada y operativa.Al seleccionar la firma en pdf y darle a firmar el botón no responde no me permite pasar  de ese punto.Adobe dc esta actualizado.El entorno es Win10Gracias

We have an application where we were using Adobe Reader 11's AcroRDIF.dll for indexing and content search. As the support for this has ended, we are looking for a PDF iFilter that works for a 32-bit application. I can see that Adobe PDF iFilter is compatible with 32-bit systems, but the download link navigates to a page with nothing. Could you please help us find it?

My chrome is configured to open pdfs with adobe reader dc. When I received a pdf link in my email, I would simply click it and the pdf document would open up in a new window,while simultaneously copying it to my download folder.  Without making any changes..instead of opening the pdf, it now opens my download folder in a new window. Additionally, the popup at the bottom of the page where I can choose to always open that type of document is now missing.  I found a suggestion to use Ctrl + Alt + FN, which brought everything back to normal. However, a week later it changed back again. I have another computer which has the exact same versions and settings as this one, and it works perfectly. I have done all the re-installs, setting resets, etc that are possible. Does anyone know how to fix this?

We're a retail store and were using Adobe to print shelf tags. The barcode's had been printing no problem, then all of a sudden stopped. The paper prints with the numbers for the barcode, but no image of the scannable part. I tried to check the box print as image and that did not work. 

With google workspace when I try to email a document  adobe only works with the main account, not the sub accounts.   The main, registered with google account for example is "master@gmail.com" but there are several other accounts under that like "user1@gmail" etc.How do I get adobe to send mail from "user1" instead of "master@gmail.com"?

Just curious, how come there are fewer choices after Adding Text vs Adding text box.When i just add text to the pdf, i cant put it in Italics.  If I add it with the text box, i can and have more options. Why? i want to add text without the box and have italics or whatever else that the text box gives you.  Please add those capabilities.

Hello,I created a signature. Now, I would like to find the signature file so that I may copy it to another PC.Does anyone know where this file is?I looked in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC but could not find it.Thanks.Keith

I can't find my signature file and referred to the 2018 post and solution and it doesn't work for me.

Hi,I have Windows  64 bit and Acrobat Reader.Acrobat Reader hangs for an extended time when opening (even just the app, not double clicking a PDF) with 'Not Responding' with Protected Mode turned on (off it works fine)Its very frustrating when you need to open several files just to check a small detail.Have googled, but found nothing concrete, seems a lot of folk suffer with this issue  - a short mention is made of 'delete temp folder', - but without any details, but am not sure where that is located, is that also related to 'autosave' ?Some suggestion of Network Folders made, could the App be trying to access one of those folders - which might be offline, with a temp autosave version ??? Bit stuck, any ideas ?? wasting a lot of the day on this.

My program is just sitting open in my desktop, but it is not displaying anything. I cannot close the program, and when I try to open a file it says "There was an error opening this document. Acrobat cannot open this file because a task is still active in Acrobat. Please return to Acrobat and end the task before opening this file."I am running on Mojave 10.14.3. I recently installed adobe acrobat reader on a new macbook.  My adobe account sign in is through Apple, so when attempting to sign in, I click the link "continue with Apple."Safari then opens a webpage in an attempt to login however the page loads with "We did not manage to sign you in. Please disable your browser proxy settings and try again." I've gone through my proxy settings on Safari and there are no proxy protocols checked. Thank you in advance for your help!
