Acrobat Reader

Does anyone know how to uninstall the free version of Adobe Acrobat DC Reader on an Azure Virtual Desktop Multi-Session Host (AVD)? It keeps popping up, prompting users to sign in to a subscription As in the Screenshot. When users close the sign-in dialog box, Adobe Reader shuts down completely, making it unusable. We only need Adobe Reader and don’t require any additional features.I previously had an older version of Adobe Reader, but it keeps updating. I had a Windows Registry entry to suppress the annoying login pop-up. Why does Adobe push these prompts, essentially forcing users to purchase a subscription when they only need Reader? Now, the customer has to use Microsoft Edge to open PDF files, which comes with its own issues. Users are accustomed to using Adobe Reader on physical PCs.I was wondering if anyone has a fix, such as a registry entry, to suppress the Adobe sign-in or the Adobe Pro trial prompt. Our users only need Reader in an AVD session.

I have made a simple file, that is used to calculate. I haven't used javascript in it.  My file works perfect when i test it. It works perfect when emaild to a coworker.  BUT when launched on a website, the calculation suddenly multiplies by 1.000.  There are 5 fiels named 'Antal km - høj Sats 0/1...'The fileds are summed up ind another field called 'Antal km i alt - Høj sats' (this works all right)Another field has a fixed value - field name = 'Gældende Høj sats'The last field should multipli the Antal km i alt - Høj sats' with 'Gældende Høj sats' - but in the browseer the result is way too big.  *****Another issue:The field for signatures disappears when shared on the website. Why does it do that?   Attached is the two files - the one I made: 'Kørselsregnskab ver. 4.0'And the one, opened in a browser and then saved with the failiure in it: 'Kørselsregnskab ver. 4.0 fra web'  (Sorry for all the d

Hi Acrobat support team,I am seeing instances where i set statuses to my comments on abobe acrobat reader-> I save them.Reopen the pdf->delete these annotations->Again save.Now open this pdf in mac preview/safari.The annotations are still reflecting with the status message but not the text in comment.Expected behaviour : Annotations with status once deleted on adobe should not reflect on Mac's preview/Safari.

I though Adobe might have grown out of such silly tricks - see previous threads on this topic going back several years.  Obviously not as it's just happened to me in January 2018.  Bad move - I might go to another PDF reader now.

And additionally I with to download it on my Mac Book Pro computer but can't find anyway to do this without being forced to get Stock Images.

I am about ready to have an anxiety attack. [cursing removed by moderator] Why do I have to go to a help menu to fix this ridiculous issue??  Come On!!  I went to the help menu, followed directions and still doesn't work. I do not have time for this!! Fire you developers or pay them more to fix it!!!

Dear community, I am really wondering how to smootly zoom in and out using adobe reader dc on my windows 10 machine. I can zoom in smootly in my webbrowser which is very nice. How can I get this smooth zooming to work in acrobat?At the moment, when I want to zoom in on a PDF with acrobat, it zooms in discretely. E.g. you go from 100% to 75% to 66.7%. With my touchpad I cannot get to an arbitrary percentage, which I can if I manually type in this percentage in the taskbar on top of the screen, see screenshot (where I typed in 90%).

Hello,I’m an IT technician working within a company. We all have Acrobat Reader installed, and we operate in Windows environments. For the past two months, many users (between 100 and 250 out of a total of 1,000) have been experiencing frequent freezes with Adobe Reader. The software becomes unresponsive ("Not responding") even without any specific interaction—simply launching the program triggers the issue.None of our security tools seem to be blocking access to Adobe Reader, and the application is fully approved by our IT department. I’ve reviewed several forums on the topic, and it seems this issue may not be unique to our setup. Do you have any suggestions for a solution? I am using Mac OS 11.7.10 and Adobe Acrobat Reader 2024.001.20604. Since last night, any PDFs I open from iCloud Drive on my Mac are not showing in my recently opened files in Acrobat Reader. I have never had a problem with this before. I already tried turning off my computer and restarting it. In Preferences, the "Documents in recently used list" setting hasn't changed (it's at 100). Additionally, I already had a file in my recently opened files list that was from iCloud Drive. It is not at the top of the list, and if I open the file again, it doesn't move to the top of the list. Can anyone help?

Has Adobe recently implemented a new process to ensure that Acrobat Reader stays up to date? I have noticed that I am now receiving AppLocker alerts because adobearm_ucb.exe is trying to run in the user profile folder. The Adobe Update Service, adobearm.exe, is still functioning from the Program Files folder. The adobearm_ucb.exe process is digitally signed by Adobe and seems to be legitimate. I am just wondering if this is meant to replace adobearm.exe or if it is a supplement to it.

Hi all! I am using Acrobat Pro from my school's subscription. I need the freehand highlight function as most of my documents are scanned books. As I remember, Acrobat Pro DC 2017 and 2020 had this function. However, the newest Acrobat seems to remove the function (at least I didn't find it). I searched discussions and checked several but most of them were talking about older versions. I am wondering if the newest Acrobat has the freehand highlight function or if I should wait for half an hour until the scanning is finished. Thank you!

Adobe acrobat rader idocuments on ipad are frezzing after 10 seconds i open them.

Using Win 10, set to dark mode, with blue window title bars and borders.Most programs show the coloured title bar, and a blue border when not full screen.Adobe reader does neither.This makes it really hard to see where the menu bar is, when it's windowed and in front of another dark window.How can I make Adobe Reader show the menu bar in blue, or even just have a blue outline?  

Hi there,  Multiple departments where i work, often print pdf's to booklets.Our sharp MFP's have a somewhat complex booklet setup.When i use another app to print document to booklets, which allow me to use the windows print dialog, the booklets print perfectly each time. This works as i have a profile setup in the Sharp drivers for booklets. However if i try and print usin the Adobe print dialog box, the prints fail. I want to know if there is a way to use the windows dialog when using adobe?If there is, can i force adobe to default to the windows dialog every time, instead of the adobe one? Thanks heaps 

Last week we figured out that some of our Acrobat Readers are silently trying to download some kind of data/zip being hosted at:http://acroipm2.adobe.com/assets/Owner/arm/adnme4/2001.zip A forensic analysis by our security team just revealed that it's just a broken zip file with a broken/incomplete png file. According to the URL beginning "acroipm2" this might be some "In Product Marketing" of Adobe and this zip file could be some advertisement package.However it seems someone messed up here and left an broken package on the server that might eventually impact many customers - at least our users don't notice that something is broken. Still our web scanner complains that something attempty to download a "unscannable" piece of data which notoriously brings up a security alert.The 1st level support just recommends to reinstall the product and doesn't get the impact of that.I would recommend someone at Adobe tries to identify that broken package and remove or fix it on their server -

I have been using this program for years with access to all its features. It has never asked me for payment info. Suddenly I cannot edit or mark up or sign or fill in documents without being redirected to a site that asks me for payment info to start up a subscription plan. I won a creative suite in 2012 and cannot say with any certainty if this program was included, but I believe it was. I do not understand why this is happening now.  I'm a student and classes start on Monday; I need to be able to access these features. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a PDF file that contains complex logic for a form. I want to read this logic and input values into the PDF form using an API. However, I'm unable to interpret the form's logic and provide the necessary inputs. Is there an option to automate the input process for the PDF form?

We have a problem, we have a preset printer (Xerox altalink 8155, new driver) that prints on recycled paper landscape, black and white, 2 pages per paper and double sided and flips to the long side. but when i print the paper order is 2-1, 4-3, 6-5, 8-7. I want it to be on 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, etc. other programs have no problem - Edge, Chrome. only Adobe Reader has the problem.wrong page order

Please help! I logged into my online banking today to download statements. Two out of four different accounts will not let me open the PDF version of any monthly statements. It says it's password protected. You can't password protect electronic statements from inside your online banking, before they are downloaded. to a file. It is only on 2 out of 4 accounts. Bank has no known issues-I called them first. Shows me a different icon in the download pop-up as well for the one it won't let me in. See screen shot of bottom account that shows different icon. Never has done this before. I deleted and updated Adobe twice.Here is hte screen shot of the download pop ups. The one highlighted is the one that is not working. Tried "Save" and "Open" and it still says it needs a password to open them, even after I save it on my desktop. I have windows 10.
