Acrobat Reader

Hi! Lately when I select the highlighting tool, it just switches to the pan or select tool right after I've highlighted something. Usually I would double tap the highlighting tool so that I could highligt continuously. I can't seem to be able to double tap any more. Anyone know how to change this?  I've been having a hard time figuring out how to formulate my problem, so hopefully someone gets what trying to say. 

Hallo  Wir haben das Problem bei einem User, dass selbstgenerierte PDFs im Adobe Reader manchmal in Hieroglyphen angezeigt werden und manchmal richtig. Wenn das PDF über Chrome geöffnet wird erscheint es richtig.Bei allen anderen Usern werden dieselben PDFs richtig angezeigt im Adobe Reader. Auch nach löschen der App Data bleibt das Problem weiterhin bestehen.  Kann uns da jemand weiterhelfen, an was es liegen könnte?  Vielen Dank und Freundliche Grüsse, Melina

Sometimes Acrobat reader on my partners android phone displays a message saying the SD card is full but there is about 200 GB space left on the card.

In the past, if I clicked 2 or more pdfs to open them with Adobe Reader DC they opened as separate documents in separate windows and I was happy with that. Now if I open more then one pdf, they open as tabs in the same pdf window. If I want to look at the pdfs side-by-side, I have to drag one of them out of the window onto my desktop and open it separately.What do I do/what setting do I change to make it go back to the way it was?

Hello, I'm using acrobat pro dc version: 19.12.20034.328841When I open a scanned document, if I click on any page, it becomes blue, the whole page becomes covered by blue transparent cover. This happens only for scanned documents (raster image). For documents created from, e.g. ms word, this does not happen. How to turn this useless unnecessary feature off? It's like some constant "fill" tool from photoshop instead of a mere mouse pointer. I do not need to fill my page with any color, why on Earth does it happen by default when I click onto a page?Appreciate any help. Thank you!

HiI have a PDF document laid out as 2x A4 pages side-by-side on A3 - as it would be for a A3 size print to be folded into two. This is supplied from a website and I need to print it as A4 on my A4 printer to get good sized pages. (it is an application form). I am using Adobe Reader 9.4.6 / Windows 7 / Word 2007.Does anyone have a solution to this?The best I can do so far is to take multiple (ie, half page) screen snips and paste them together using Word to create a document close to the original - VERY messy and not too good on quality either!Any ideas would be very well received.Thanks, David

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader & since the last update, comment boxes pop up whenever I use highlight. This does not happen if I use the highlighter without the Commenting Tool being selected, but this is inconvenient because there are other features in the Commenting tool that I also use. I have already played around with the preference settings, & have been unable to find any setting that fixes the issue. Here is what my current settings are:

Hi, I'm using Acrobat in South Korea. I'm a user from a non-profit organization. I'm a Christian, so I use Acrobat to read the ESV Bible, which is over 500MB in size. I've never had any problems until now, but a few days ago, my iPad and iPhone have been experiencing white pages. When I drag it around, it seems to recognize it, but I can't see it at all. When I move it to my MacBook or iMac, it comes out fine, and I can see it in ibook or other apps, but only in Acrobat. What could be the cause? Acrobat 24.08.00(20240807.192443) version. The iPad I'm using is a Pro 4 and is updated to version 17.6.1. My other iPads and iPhones are also updated to the latest version. Other documents, scans, and files open just fine. It's only the files I mentioned that are blanking out.

 Every time i click the link two windows showing the PDF open, how do i make that browser window not open when i click the link? also, what is that window if not a pop-up? 

Good afternoon.I have a problem with acrobat reader dc. I make an image on adobe illustrator and save her in PDF format. After that, when I'm using the measuring tool in some parts of the document the Adobe application starts blocking. I have to wait for 10 s (more or less) to continue my measures.I have already reinstalled de adobe and used a different PC but the problem persists.Additionally, when I try to see the Dump file of Adobe the application stays "Not responding" and I can´t see any error logs.What can be happening?   Best Regards   [Message moved to the Acrobat Reader Support by Moderator]

There should be a proper full fledged dark mode that needs to be introduced by Adobe on all platforms - Windows, iOS, iPad, Android, Mac and everything.  We need to have a setting where is specifically says "Dark mode". High time Adobe works on this.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program 3 times. Nothing has changed in my work flow other than the fact I updated Acrobat. I work with large print pdf's, and it has always been a bit slow when I used the hand tool to move around but zoom has never been an issue. Now I can neither zoom or sroll over the page to try to look at my work in detail.  Please advise

It takes 4 or 5 clicks to save a PDF that you've changed...1. Close -or- Save2. Do you want to save changes to... ?   (It you used close)3. Save As...  (You have to re-select your folder)4. Save As... Again - this time to confirm the filename5. xxxx already exists. Do you want to replace it? Can we please pleae please have a buton for "Save & Replace"? - 1 Click!  

Hi All,With the new version, i can no longer click the email button and it attaches the pdf to outlook.Now, I have to select email-> send as attachment -> select type (Microsoft outlook/ web mail) -> continue which takes me to outlook.Is it possible to configure default which takes me direct to outlook when I press the email icon?

We have a user that is unable to open PDF's from SharePoint on his Mac Air. This is from both the web and from the OneDrive sync. We have tested other PDF's that are not synced and they are working. Other users that are on Windows computers are able to open the same documents without errors. We have done a OneDrive resync but are still unable to open the PDF's. There are also no errors. Adobe just doesnt open. Your assistance is appreciated.

I use Adobe Reader DC "maximized" - not full screen. However, very frequently it reverts to the non maximized state. What can I do to ensure that Adobe Reader DC always opens maximized? 

Hi!  I created a 5 page fillable PDF but when I send it via email, page 4 is not fillable. 

I download new the chinese verison Adobe Reader and install it. After I install, I found the "Sign Field" can't display the digitally Signed information such as signed by, date or time. I try to reinstall the Windows 10 but the problem is still here. I try to install to another Windows 10 but the problem is still here. Finally, I found the solution. I install the english version Adobe Reader, the problem has been fixed. I think it is the lanauge or font problem. I think this problem will affect any user who use tradition chinses version. BonjourJ'ai créé un formulaire avec EXCEL. Il contient des cases où l'utilisateur doit indiquer des nombres (dans des cases non protégées). Il y a aussi des cases (protégées) où se calcule la somme ou le produit de ces nombres.J'ai transformé ce document en PDF avec Acrobat Pro et j'ai réussi à conserver les cases protégées ou non. (Ce qui pour moi est déjà une grande victoire.) Il est donc possible de remplir manuellement ces cases.Malheureusement, les calculs ne se font pas automatiquement comme sur le document EXCEL et rien ne s'inscrit dans les cases destinées à afficher les résultats. (J'espère que je suis assez clair)Existe-t-il une solution à mon problème ? (Mon instinct me dit que oui mais je ne trouve pas.)Pouvez-vous me venir en aide ? Je ne sais pas si c'est important mais je travaille sur un Macbook Pro.Merci d'avance à tousGérard

I have to use a portfolio adobe document for school.  Each portfolio has four files.  Is it possible to open them so I can easily flip through them or even view them all at the same time.  I have to copy information from one file to the other so its easier if I can view both screens while doing so.

Hi,When measuring a distance in a pdf drawing, how to change the color of the dimension text. The background drawing is in black and white, I want the dimension text stand out, not mix up with the background. The arrows and the dimension lines are in red, also need the dimension text in red.Regards,John
