I cannot print from Adober Reader DC (version 21-00520060). The printer tries to print from the wrong tray (envelopes vs letter), there is no printing despite pushing paper out until the tray is empty. If I print from Firefox or Outlook, the printing is normal. My printer is a HP Officejet Pro 8600 and the HP diagnostic tools have not found anything wrong. My Windows 10 is up-to-date.Can you help? Thanks.
I'm trying to open and print some pdf files so I can do my year-end accounting work. There are numerous files that I cannot open with any application. When I go into Properties > Details I see that the Attributes Property has a value of ALOM. The files I can open have a value of AL. Does anyone know what causes this to occur and if I can change it so that I can open the files? I'm using Windows 10.
I run Mac OS Monterey 12.7.5 and am encoutnering a problem when I select 'Fill in form fields' on an open PDF. The following message is displayed: 'Adobe Acrobat wants to use your confidential information stored in "ADOBE.APS" in your keychain. To allow this, enter the "login" keychain password' I have never had the message before. I have tried selecting the keychain and used the associated password, but it doesn't work. I have the option to 'Always Allow'; 'Deny'; or 'Allow'. The application stops responding and I have to select 'Force Quit' to close it. Is someone able to assist me in resolving this issue? Ian

I cannot find this option "Open PDFs automatically in Reader when they are downloaded in Chrome browser." in the Preference section. It must be a bug in your software. Please fix it as soon as possible,
I have downloaded the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and I keep getting pop-up screen asking me to start a 7-day trial of Acrobat DC and when I say quit then the pdf goes away. How do I stop this from happening?
Hello. We're having problems with Adobe. Can't open shared links. "Shared file is not available message: We're still working on getting this shared copy done. Try updating after a few seconds." But we wait for hours and nothing happens.
Hello. I would appreciate it if someone could help with an error message I am getting on Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (version 2021.007.2091). I have to fill in a government form, and I am getting an error message in all date fields: "enter the date in format dd-mmm-yyyy.". I downloaded the form and opened it on Adobe, as recommended. The error does not occur if I select any date in March, regardless of the year, but any other month/year gives me the same error. I have tried to select the date by typing it or using the dropping down, and I always got the same error. I have uninstalled and installed Adobe again, didn't work. I have tried different browsers to download to form. I have asked several friends to download and try to fill in and it works fine for them. I am using Windows 10 Pro. Thank you!
I have a Mac laptop and have been creating and using PDFs for many years. I normally use Preview to open and read PDFs without any problems. All of a sudden my PDFs are locked and require a password to open. I have tried every password I've ever used on my computer but none of them work. I would like to emphasize that these are MY files, not someone else's, so no one else locked them. I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader but it won't open the files either. It's very frustrating. Thanks!
PDF files on my hard disk don't open when I click on them. Instead, I get what is attached and I can't get rid of it.
As mentioned by many users before, I made a detailed list on what is being seen on my side, this is how the installation journey is currently designed besides delivering the Acrobat Reader DC: 1. LandingAdobe’s website provides transportation to deceive user that the installer only provides the installation of Adobe Reader 2. Post Downloadno explicit terms to notify user before installationno any clear options to let user uncheck McAfee installation3. Installationmy installation of the Acrobat Reader was being abandoned due to having Acrobat Pro DC being installed whereas the installer still proceeds to instell McAfeeclicking "Yes" when confirming cancellation does not stop the installation process 4. Post-InstallationMcAfee performs auto scan after installation, meaning unauthorized access to ALL user’s machine files, possibly riding on the permission granted at the beginning of instellation.McAfee change operation system settings without ANY user permission, possi
Hi CommunityI need to disable some features in Adobe Reader app on Mac, eg disable upsell (do not offer users Adobe Pro) , disable sign in/out in Reader , etc. I tried to follow the below guidance, uploaded com.adobe.Reader.plist to those two locations below, restart the app, but it does not work. Did any of you have a following challenge, what is a process to disable/enable some options for Mac app, by plist ? I hope you can point me in the right direction. App version, if that matters: 2023.008.20533Thank you, much appreciated ! I'm in an environment with mostly 32-bit reader installed and trying to replace it with 64-bit in Intune. When I set up reader on my personal test devices, it installed with the GUID AC76BA86-1033-FF00-7760-BC15014EA700, labeled as Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) but opens as Adobe Reader inside the app. I'm installing this using the MSI file extracted from the MUI for 64 bit reader found here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ However, in testing with some other users, I'm getting installation failures. I'm seeing installations with these other users that reference the GUID ac76ba86-1033-1033-7760-bc15014ea700, which an Adobe employee has confirmed as the GUID for Adobe Reader 64 bit in another post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/adobe-acrobat-64-bit-update-error-1642/td-p/13364386 I also see actual installations of Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) (i.e. not Reader) reference GUID AC76BA86-1033-FFFF-7760-BC15014EA
I’ve downloaded several PDFs from the UniformMarket website, but Adobe Acrobat Reader says they are damaged and cannot be repaired. Are there specific settings or steps I should follow to avoid this issue?
The sidebar is not active, it's just a very annoying marketing ploy that takes up screen real estate. How do I disable it?thanksBill

Every time I save a PDF from the Chrome browser, (by right clicking and saving as), it automatically populates in the Adobe PDF reader. It is an extra step that I want to stop. I do not just want to download it from the browser as I would like to view it before saving it.
Dear Adobe Support Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report an issue I have encountered with digitally signing large PDF documents. I have a 28 MB document that I scanned and need to sign digitally. Unfortunately, I have found that the signing process only works when the file size is reduced to 1.7 MB. Attempts to sign the document at sizes of 10.5 MB and 28 MB have been unsuccessful. Reducing the file size to 1.7 MB significantly impacts the readability of the document. Could you please address this issue and allow for larger PDFs to be digitally signed without requiring such a drastic reduction in file size? I have noticed that many others have reported similar issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards,Simon
I find it interesting that as support for multiple monitors becomes more standard in operating systems, applications start forcing all associated documents into the same window such that one sometimes has to employ registry hacks to get the documents into separate windows to be able to easily compare side-by-side across the multiple monitors. First it was Microsoft Excel... now it appears Adobe Reader is forcing the documents into a single window. While Adobe Reader at least allows one to click on the "Window" menu and choose "New Window" to "move" a PDF to a separate window (annoyingly enough instead of actually moving the selected tab to the new window, it opens another copy, which requires one to still close the first copy in the original window). I'd prefer the default behavior to automatically open the documents in new windows when I double click on them in Windows Explorer to open them. At least give me a preference option for this... Does anyone have a
When opening multiple PDF files, Acrobat Reader DC groups them in the same window as tabs. How can I change so that each PDF file opens in a new window?
Hi,since the last Adobe Reader update "23.006.20380" we've got some strange issue with the Reader on two Win11Pro Clients. After starting the Adobe Reader (not even opening a pdf, just the program) following message will appear after 1-2 minutes:"Connecting to http://oscp.digicert .com for a OSCP suspension check"Then you can close this window, wait or cancel this process and the program will freeze and crash.I have already tried:- repair / reinstall - installing an older version "23.006.20320" - same failure- disable protected mode at startup- disable "automatic adobe Approved Trust List (AATL) updates" and "automatic adobe Approved Trust Lists (EUTL) updates" in the Trust ManagerHas anyone seen this error before? Right now these client have to use another PDF-Reader.
There has been more updates for Adobe Reader this year than in the past 10 years. Why??Windows OS.
