Acrobat Reader

Hi Trying to assist a enterprise user with reader not wanting to access any local drives.. I uninstalled the product and tried to download a new install.. This was working earlier this morning.. but not anymore.. tried from more than one workstation.get.adobe.com give's a "Does not have a certificate" error.

I had the paid Reader and recently cancelled that version.I am now trying to download and install the free reader on a Mac.After dowloading the Acrobat Reader I get the window to sign in for a free trial for the Pro version.Any ideas on how I can just download the free version?Have tried several times to download the free version and run into the same issue every time.

Adobe says the Reader is "Free". I have the Free Version.When I try to open a PDF document, it keeps putting up a Promo Wall with NO Exit option for a Free Trial of a Paid version.Does anyone know how to get rid of this and still keep the free reader? I do not need any additional features, I just want to view and print the documents. Not interested in a Free Trial. 

Stop this! Cannot use Acrobat Reader.  Is it not free any more? Having to force quit and use preview instead. Uninstalling Acrobat Reader. Wasting my time.

I've combined about 14 files into one large PDF and although all of the original PDFs had all of their pages present, the combined file is missing random pages. I have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat 2020 as well as the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. At other times, the combined file looks okay when I've created it, but when others in my organisation try to read it, they are missing pages in their file. What could be causing this and more importantly, how do we fix it please?

Good afternoon, I would like to know how to remove the confirmation from the dialog box, right after clicking to fill out the form. Each line I click to fill out the form appears several times to confirm. In the following screenshot, it shows the dialog box that I am having difficulty removing. 

What's with the "Non-declinable" and "Unsolicited" requirement to install McAfee products when updating Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? There appears to be no option to decline this ad-on. I have tried to get a response from Adobe but was simply directed to this forum. I know if I allow the McAfee installation I can uninstall it but I shouldn't have to do this in the first place. Anyone have a comment?[Title edited for clarity by moderator. Added “ (and McAfee)“.

Please,I need to downlaod and install 11.1.102.55  reader.But it always comes with Mcafee antivirus.I can remove it , but I am afraid of damaging any installed programs.I need to download without it.My OS is Win XP SP3Thanks

I have just installed Adobe on a new PC and it no longer fills in the subject line in my EMail.This is most frustrating as all the previous versions of Adobe Reader that i have used have done this automatically, with the name of the File I'm sending. Filling in the subject line in a 100 plus Accounts Emails is a non trivial exercise, as i use the Subject line as a sorting mechanism and it needs to be entered identically every time for each client.Alan R

Before writing here I made several attempts, including uninstalling and reinstalling the program, trying with a new administrator user profile, resetting the program preferences, using AcroClear, trying with different files in pdf format and in different locations (both locally and on network server). The problem remains and has been highlighted for a few weeks, I believe, more precisely after the update to version 2024.002.20736.  I would like to point out that the problem I am going to describe, the one in question, occurs with Adobe Acrobat Reader 64 bit version DC 2024.002.20759 on a computer with Windows 10 Pro 22H2 updated. While the same problem does not occur on the same computer if I install Adobe Acrobat Reder 32 bit version DC 2024.002.20759.  In short, after these premises, it happens that any document in pdf format I am using crashes and AAR brutally closes as soon as I try to access the properties of one of the annotating

I am trying to download an app;ication form for the bank. They have said that I need adobe acrobat reader which I have to access it. But this is the message I keep getting when I try:

I have recently upgraded to DC. I have A3 and A2 size pdfs which in the past I have printed on an A4 printer using the poster function. But with DC the button is greyed out. An internet search indicated this might be because Protected Mode is on. However I have disabled that and the problem is the same.

Hello, at my workplace we're having the issue right now, that for certain users, certain Files are shown in CT  and for other users the same file is a PDF file.I've never seen that happening, especially with specific files, not as a general issue.For clearance an exampleChrista sees File 1 and File 2 as PDFElona sees them as File 1 (PDF) and File 2 (CT File)Since CT files are also a file format provided by Adobe, I thought I might find help here. Thanks in advance for your help.Jonas

How do I change the default Author name?  I have Adobe Acrobat X Pro. I can change the Author name after I have created the document on a per-document basis, but I don’t see how to change the default setting so that the Author name that is automatically populated in each document I create is the correct name. All of a sudden we are running into issues with opening Adobe Dynamic XLM forms in Adobe Reader.1) The form is created in Adobe Experience Manger (AEM), saved as a Adobe Dynamic XML Form (.pdf).2) The form is then opened with Adobe Pro, where I then do the following:     Save as other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools.3) The saved version is then opened in Adobe Reader, where the form should open and allow end user to fill in the form and save it. However, we are getting the 'Please wait ...' error displays (screenshot below).This has never happened before.Why is this happening now for many of my forms and how can it work once again?

Hi All, I am looking for help, I have been forwarded some documents which are in .pdf file.  I have tried opening them as usual, but find that they no longer open.  I am presented with the option to purchase the full Acrobat Suite on a monthly basis.  I seldom use Acrobat Reader as it is only when sent documents that require my attention and I cannot justify the monthly fee on the basis that I might only need to open a .pdf document about 5 or 6 times a year.  Any help / guidance would be greatly appreciated
