Hello, I need some help concerning preferences settings.Refering to the attached pic:1) I have set "Continuous" but2) I have to enable "Scrolling" everytime !3) Is there a way NOT to have those left (and right) menu opened by default ?Thanks.

Does the 2024 version of the acrobat reader highlights and read the text at the same time?

Installed Reader DC (continous) on Windows 7 (64 bit) about 3-4 weeks ago. I followed all these insructions to disable auto updates. But today, when Reader DC was running, it auto installed an update anyway. (It displayed a message that it was doing so.) Completely unacceptable. Below are the things I did after installing Reader DC to disable auto updates. What am I missing? (Note: no manual updates for reader or any other Adobe product have been applied since these settings were set. There are no Creative cloud applications installed. There is only one Windows user login on this machine, me, and it is an adminstrator login. Hi,I have a slight issue with making an interactive pdf file. I haven't made any before so i don't have too much knowledge about it. Simply i have a map with multiple layers exported from ArcGis Pro.  I want to make an interactive pdf from this file so the reader is able press a button on the file that will turn a layer off and on. The current feature only allows me to show one layer and will turn the others off. I want the reader to turn multiple layers on and off at the same time. How can i do this? Thanks for your help in advance.

I have a large PF fie that has duplicate pages how can I remove them or move them so I have only one copy of each file to look at. I have adobe acrobat DC. Is this even possible? There are 15K + pages in this file.

Hi Folks,When I use 'Microsoft Print to PDF' to create a PDF, I then get another window opening prompting me to save the file again.For example, I may have an email I wish to save so I use 'Microsoft Print to PDF', create a name and save. Acrobat Reader then opens and a 'Save As' dialogue box opens up.If I check the original document, I can see that it has already been saved/How can I stop this? I am using a MSWin 11 machine with all updates applied.  How to remove "At least one signature is invalid" message from the top of the document? I tried adding to trusted certificates but the option is greyed out. In previous posts, I saw that you could click on it to remove it but that doesn't work for me. I download from my bank here in Canada my statements that are in a PDF format with a zillion security restrictions that do not allow me to fill & sign and annotate.  My bank was acquired by Royal Bank of Canada and previously my former bank, I was able to fill, sign and annote the PDF files.  it seems pretty clear to me that Adobe with their AI Assistant that now shows up on their document that Adobe is on a cash grab and trying to force you to buy a version that would allow me to make some annotations to the PDF files.  I prefer to use the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader considering the limited use that I use Adobe for. Is there a way around this current problem that I am facing?  N.B. there is a way I found to get around this but it involves another manual step that I teke by printing the actual PDF document and scanning it with Adobe Acrobat reader as a PDF document and this file ends up without very little security restrictions as I had experi

I updated Acrobat Reader a couple weeks ago to V2023.008.20470 and when I tried to print a PDF some time after that, I found that the background on the first 1 or 2 pages is black and the text and any lines are white. The remaining pages print correctly. I just checked and there was another update available so I went ahead and did that. I tried printing again, but still have the same problem. I hope someone can help me with this! Cheryl

Since the update yesterday (new look) nothing is working anymore. When I want to secure my pdf by password, I only get a white screen, same for releasing the pdf. So I cannot send it via email anymore.Anyone having a solution on that please?

Can someone help me figure out how I can access the "Take a snapshot" feature? I used this to help me print shipping labels that were saved and sent to me as PDFs. I would take a snapshot and resized the label to print out as a 4 by 6 label. I use to just right click and I would be able to find it that way. Now when I right click to view all editing options it is completely gone. (Btw, I use the free adobe version and have been able to access the feature I needed for years with no issue until now).

Installed 32 bit Adobe Reader DC and wanted to disable "new acrobat reader." This resulted in a new menu display, like older versions of Reader. Then when selecting "Preferences" Reader crashes. Tried this numerous times. Seems to me that "preferences" just does not work when new acrobat reader is disable. Is this how its supposed to work, by Adobe's design?
