Acrobat Reader

I use my Adobe Acrobat Pro V10.1.3 print to the Adobe PDF printer to create all kinds of pdf files. One of my receipiants who gets these documents as e-mail attachments, gets the following error message when attempting to open those files:"Adobe Reader could not open … because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded)."This error message makes no sense to me, How can this be fixed?Thanks in advance.

Adobe Reader has bugged happening. After downloaded to pdf, when open the file. the wording has gone wrong. Attached screenshot for your reference. pls help to check on this issue.

One 11x17 in landscape equals two 11x8.5 side-by-side in portrait. How can I get that to print that way so I don't get 4 sheets of paper to tape together that tiling produces? Using full Acrobat 11 in Windows 11.

Why wont this download? It is just sticking at 90%, unistalled it twice with no luck, cleaned the cache still no luck can anyone help please.Why 

I have a protected PDF file with unlocked form editing and signing (lock sign -> security info). Editing is allowed, while signing is blocked and grayed out (although it works for unprotected PDFs). I am using the Adobe Reader Pro trial version.

My adobe reader application worked fine since the update of AI Assistant. After the update, my application taking much time to close. Help me out. TIA

Hi,   I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I just downloaded some sheet music.  When I go to print out one page,  the noteheads won't print.   8th note excercises; all the 8th note noteheads are missing.  Can someone advise how to fix this? Hallo,I received a pdf file. When I open it, the coverimage is as it should be, but the pages (1300) of the whole file (160 MB)) are littered with mainly black squares, special characters and embedded images are displayed only. I tried compatibility modus for Windows 7, still trying to convert to a word document (since 2 hours runtime), all to no avail.The calibre e-book reader interestingly can read the file and displays the characters but in a very terrible design. All other software like pdf24, among others showed up the black squares as well.What can cause this behavior and how can I overcome this that the file is readable in Adobe reader?Regards,Juergen

After restart, my Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 2023.008.20555 | 64bit on Windows 10 works fine.But after some time it takes 30 sec to open a  pdf, when I download it from the  Internet or when I use double click on some local pdf. (When I drag the pdf file into Acrobat window, it still works fine - opens it immediately). I have found that in that wrong state, an attempt to open pdf file starts new instance of the Reader, and after 30 sec it is closed and only then the pdf file is opened: I have tried plenty of tips found on the Internet, but nothing helped. The only temporary solution is the restart of the Reader, but after while the situation is wrong again. What to do?

Hello,I download lots of PDF sewing patterns that include many sizes and I learned recently that with the use of layers in acrobat reader I can choose to print only the size I want.  However, when I choose the layers icon on the left side of the screen all of the layer options "such as layer properties, etc" are grayed out.  Anyone know why that is happening and what I can do to fix it?  I have downloaded the most recent acrobat reader to my MacBook Air. 

I'm trying to print a banner from Canva. It is downloaded as a PDF. When I print it all the "tiles" print except for 1 prints blank. I have no idea why. I'd like to now just try to print that one tile rather than the entire poster again but can't seem to find a way to do so. I've tried clicking on the tile I want to print and selecting Print Current View but this has not resolved the issue as it continues to attempt to print all the tiles once again. Thanks for any help. 

Hi, I'm working on printing a pattern in Poster mode with some pages I have to print multiples of. Is there any way to just print part (or one page) of the poster instead of multiple or all of the pages over and over again?

I recently changed my display name, however it is not updating when I create new posts.  When I check my display name in account management, it shows the updated display name of which I have updated to. There is a discrepency between the display name Ive chosen and what is shown in my posts however.

I use windows 10 and when Acrobat Reader is installed, documents that I try to download that are in a .FNM format from my email for example, will automatically be downloaded as a .PDF. I need the file .FNM to stay in that format in order to be able to download it into the CRM that I use for work but when Adobe automatically changes it into a .PDF format.. my CRM does not recognize the file anymore and will not let me download it. However, if I uninstall Acrobat Reader then that doesnt happen anymore and the downloaded format of a file stays original. When Acrobat is reinstalled though it also changes the format of previous docs already downloaded on my desktop as a .FNM now into a .PDF again.. This was something that not always happened but just started happening and I'm not sure if I accidentally changed a setting at one point.

J'ai desinstallé adobe acrobate reader pour pouvoir le réinsaller sur un autre DD, mais déjà, quand je tente de réinstallé, cela ne me demande pas où je veux l'installer, et cela me dit que j'ai deja une version plus récente alors que non...J'ai essayer de redémarrer l'ordi mais cela fait la même chose.

I keep trying to disable this.  I go to "preferences" and then unclick the "show comments pane with a pdf with comments is opened" but after I save and close it, when I reopen it that box is ticked again?!?! Can someone PLEASE help on this?  How can I permanently disable this so when I open up a PDF the comments section doesn't open?  THANK YOU!!!

Tenho uma dúvida sobre o procedimento a adoptar no caso em que, uma vez assinados os documentos pdf utilizando o certificado digital, o mesmo desaparece da pasta partilhada deixando de ser visualizados pelos outros utilizadores.
