Dear Fellows, I have subscribed a preparation course for a chemical Engineering public tender and they have made availabe several PDF lesson files. I successfully opened the First filé on my Cellphone but I rather read the lessons on my tablet because it's way more confortabl. the Very First file was uploaded using adobe from Google Drive but the content wouldn't show. I tried opening after installing Adobe in my tablet but It didn't Help. Might Someone give me a tip?
I don't understand this
I export my MS Word or Apple Pages projects in PDF. ALl is desing for printing in mind, so the design of thew documents belong to the old school, with pictures everywhere and text sorrunding them. Not only “normal” text, but also objects like tables and text boxes. My documents easily can have 3 or 4 images inline. The issue is that a friend who receives these documents in his cellphone, they look like RESPONSIVE! and the files are not HTML of course, they are just PDF as we know. I didn‘t know about this kind of resposive pdf files. My receipient uses a Samsung Galaxy phone. That is good, right? The problem: he doesn‘t like it and want to se the files like desktop view. Maybe just caprice or personal taste, but that is what he wants. I don‘t know which app is using to view those files. Maybe the one which comes for default in the cellphone. Is there a way that he can switch any button somewhere saying something like «SWITCH TO DESKTOP VIEW or to GO BACK TO RESPONSIVE VI
PDFs containing masked images display fine on desktop (PC, Mac), but the images are not displayed properly on the Android version of Adobe reader. For example see the images on both pages in the attached document. They should be masked with a feathered texture edge, but on Android the full image is displayed and the mask does not appear to have any effect.
While reading a few pdf's on my iPad, I do write a few things using the Apple pencil. This works fine but as soon as I save that pdf, a few of the letters just become sharp edges, see the attached image. This didn't use to happen earlier but I see it now with every handwritten note on adobe reader for the last 3-4 months. Do we have solution for this? Before the annotation is saved: After the annotation is saved:
I've been experiencing this problem since I downloaded the app a few weeks ago. When I write something (Apple Pencil) the letters look nice and everything is good but after some seconds the letters get deformed, like transformed into strange lines. In the photo attached, I wrote "punto de vista" and it clearly changed and now you cannot understand what it says.

I have just bought an iPad Pro and am finding that pdf files I have stored in Box open in Box’s native reader rather than adobe reader. I want to be able to edit them (highlight, mark-up etc). Ideally I want to use ProDC but I don’t think that is an iPad app(?). Just opening in reader would be an improvement. ANY SUGGESTIONS?Thanks

I am using the iPad version of Acrobat for reading and annotating PDFs. I notice that the navigation function works in one direction for endnotes within a document: from endnote link (superscript number) in the body text to the endnote location at the end of the document. However, unlike in almost every other reader I have tried, this link does not work in the reverse direction. There is no way to get back to the source by cliciking back on the endnote number. Furthermore, there does not seem to be a "back" or "return to origin" button in this reader. This seems like a major (even catastrophic) design flaw. So much so that I assume I am missing something obvious. But, after 45 minutes with Adobe tech suppor this morning, I was directed to post the issue here. I'll be grateful for any suggestions that anyone can offer.

For this particular file, no joy opening in Acrobat for Android. Other viewers/editors on Android work and Adobe desktop works. I have seen older threads about this, to which the response is generally, "make sure you are on there latest version." I am on the latest version 23.4.1.27228 as of now. There same fine used to open without issues. Either a code change in Acrobat or in Android seems to have broken it. I have tried clearing cache / deleting all app data. I have also signed out and in, using multiple accounts. I can't attach the file due to its size.
Where do banking apps such as Chase and Wells Fargo store PDF statements I open with Android Acrobat reader? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. When I open Acrobat Reader and look at "Files / On This Device", they appear under a folder "DOWNLOADS," but unlike other folders listed here, I don't have a folder "DOWNLOADS" that contains any files on my tablet. The only folder I have with that name is /android/data/com.adobe.reader/files/downloads, and it's empty. Still, I can open those files and send them to the cloud. I don't get it. Where are these files located in the file system?
