I need to compare 2 pdf files,one is 2012 version,the other 2016 version,but when i use Acrobat,there're a lot of font&size differences,all highlighted,which makes it hard to find out what i need(what is new in 2016 version),how to solve this problem???thank u!!!

Cannot activate the adobe 9 pro on another Pc after deactivating and uninstall from old PC

When one of those three Fonts are present in the C:\Windows\Fonts Folder, Acrobat Distiller Crashes on Startup.Those Fonts are:"ntailub.ttf"               Shipped with Windows 10"ntailu.ttf"                 Shipped with Windows 10"OCRB10N.TTF"      Shipped with our ERP System for Printing InvoicesWhen i remove those Fonts from C:\Windows\Fonts, Acrobat Distiller works as usual.If i put them back to C:\Windows\Fonts, Acrobat Distiller crashes on Startup.We need the "OCRB10N.TTF" Font for Printing Invoices, so i can't remove it from C:\Windows\Fonts directory.What can i do ?Kind Regards,Daniel

Greetings forum,I currently have Adobe Acrobat Pro X with the most recent patch (I believe it was put out late 2015)My OS is Windows 10. Until this evening, my pdf's were opening fine.  I had a pdf open and then it just disappeared.  I tried to re-open it as well as other pdf's and nothing happens.  At first I thought this was an issue with Windows 10, as this also happens to some of their apps when trying to open.  However I am not sure this is the case.Has anyone else recently had this issue?Is there a way to fix this?  I am pretty sure that Pro X should still be usable, and that I would not need to upgrade to Pro X1...  Much appreciated.

Hello everyone,I am having a problem comparing documents using Acrobat 11 pro. The program is showing there are differences between the documents as it should however, the program is also showing that there is a difference between text in the documents when there is no difference. To test this i made a new document and only changed a few numbers in the document meanwhile it was showing alot of text as being different. The highlight displayed that it was using a different font however it is the exact same document thus using the same font.Any ideas what this could possibly be?

Hello,I switched to Acrobat DC and am having a lot of problems. I think the older version was easier to use, but maybe that is just me.I do not like Acrobat OCRing pages one-by-one as I scroll through them. It is disruptive and I would rather have it OCR the entire document at once, like Adobe 11 Professional did. So, I open a document and click "recognize text." It scans the whole document and converts it to searchable images. HOWEVER, when I begin scrolling page-by-page through the document, it still re-scans each page, one-by-one, disrupting my work. How can I fix this and make it like Adobe 11 Pro?Eli

I had to reinstall Adobe Acrobat CS5.5 after I had to wipe my MacBook and Acrobat isn't accepting my serial number even though I paid for the creative suite.Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Bridge are all working fine, but Acrobat tells me my serial number is invalid.  Please help!!!

I had Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and my computer (Windows 10) just upgraded and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and now it seems like I do not have any of the capabilities I had before. Now it wants me to subscribe for the functions that I used to have. Do I just need to uninstall it?

Do I need adobe reader pro to edit a pdf?  when I click edit it doesn't do anything..

I am trying to install this older version onto my windows 10 laptop. There is no CD ROM so I have copied the files onto my computer, the Autorun.exe does nothing when selected. Is the issue between windows 10 and adobe 7.0?

I've been having a problem with data cell tags that have no data in them being stripped out of tables upon copying the page with the table into a main document. I did not have this problem in Pro 9. It started happening when I upgraded to XI. This is a huge problem because it throws the whole structure of the table off and I end up having to spend time adding the tag back in that was stripped out. There were times that 10 to 20 tags were stripped out of a table. The cells that are being stirpped have no data but are necessary to the structure of the table. I have a document that is over 400 pages with data tables on 2/3rds of the pages. Quite often while preparing the document, I will have to replace pages with updated data and this is when I have to delete a page and copy a new page into the main document. This is when the tags get stripped out.  It is very annoying. Can anyone tell me whether or not there is a work around for this problem. Does this problem exist in the newer ve

I need help writing javascript where I am dividing 2 fields and the answer is in a percentage.  I keep getting an error message and I know it is because I need to add javascript telling what to do when the answer is zero, but I am unsure how to do that.  This is what I currently have written in the Calculate tab under custom calculation script:event.value = this.getField("Division 1 - 1").value / this.getField("Grand Total 1").valueand in the Format tab I have the category set to percentage.The error I get is "The value does not match the format of the field"Any help is much appreciated!  Thank you!!!

I have a very large file (1.2GB - 20K+ pages) which has greyed out the option to delete pages.   I have Acrobat XI standard, version 11.0.11.I have double check and the file is not in view mode, is not in PDF/A mode, and is not a SECURED document, and protected view is off.What I am trying to do:  the file has numerous bookmarks which I am trying to maintain for navigation purposes, while trying to chop the file up into more manageable portions.  If I extract pages (which is the only thing its allowing me to do) the bookmarks are lost in the created file.  If I could retain those bookmarks upon extraction, then I don't need an answer to my original question.  Normally I would do a 'save as' with a new name and delete a portion of the file; then go back to the original file and repeat until I've chopped up the original file as newly created smaller portions of it.  I did a "save as" and opened the new saved file and again the new file does not permit t

Acrobat Pro XI "error 1324 the path to My Documents or volume is invalid.Please enter it again"  One of our users can only view parts of a few blueprints or opens blank page but they print fine. I can view them fine when I log into her computer. They are scans of blueprints emailed to her but they are also on the network and her co-worker can always open them fine and has same exact version. We are running Windows 7. We only have 2 or 3 Acrobat Pro licenses so I can't download it to troubleshoot it because I don't want to mess anything else up and there aren't any available licenses I have checked differences in preferences and they are all the same.

I have a document with multiple sections, and I'd like each section to be numbered as "page 1 of n".  For example, I want pages 3 - 94 in my 157 page document to be listed as "page 1 of 92"..."page 47 of 92"...etc.  When selecting the page numbering option of "page 1 of n", I get "page 1 of 157"..."page 47 of 157"...etc.  How do I change the "n" value to reflect the number of pages in each section?

Hello. I am using a thir party program which generates reports in pdf files. When I set as default viewer for pdf files Acrobat Reader DC and click generate report from this program the PDF it is not generated (the acrobat reader appears in apps in task bar but does nothing and have to end task because it will not open any pdf files if it is not closed). If I select Microsoft Edge as the default program for pdf files it works. Any ideas how to solve this problem? Thank you

Just wanted to clarify something for myself. I'm not familiar with Image quality and such so sorry for asking such as newbie question.I normally scan documents and photos in 600 DPI. When I create a PDF, is setting a the PDF image resolution to anything over 600 a waste of time? Can the PDF upgrade the quality or will it top out at 600?Regards,John
