Hi, I have a pdf file that's 14.2 mb. It will not convert into an excel file. The alert reads "sorry, file is either too large or too complicated to convert". Are there any other options?
I keep getting two errors when trying to convert my PDF's into excel1. the file has not been processed. an error has occurred which stopped the processing of the PDF.2. The file is either too large or too complex to export. How can I get around these? What options do I have for the one that is too large to export? the PDF is 3.2MB.
I am updating an old form of ours which will make a 15 page long form into a 2 page form (With the option to add the pages needed to it), This form has a list of options with radio buttons. When they click Yes on one of the options, it spawns a template page for that option and navigates to the last page. This has worked perfectly until I got to an option that requires two pages to be spawned. I can get it to spawn two pages but I need it to navigate to the second last page now instead of the last page. Does this even make sense? Is there any way to do this at all? I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro. Thanks in advance hopefully! (Btw I am self taught so don't have much understanding of the program or Javascript but am trying hard!)
Hi there, I hope someone can help out. Adobe is the most frustrating system in the world! I have downloaded and printed PDF files from my computer ( not using the cloud, not using Adobe) just downloading and printing. I have done this thousands of times. I hit the printer button, and I get an ADOBE READER window pop up that says, cannot print , then another window that is an ADOBE READER window and it says, NO FILE or NO page selected ( which it is, it is in the print preview window) I have tried to reboot, I have tried other documents and I have tried contacting the worthless customer support via chat message. He said, go to the forum. Thanks ADOBE.I am on a MAC and have never had this happen. thanks!
when I try to create a portfolio for the first time it wants me to download and install flash, but when I try to install it it said that I already have the latest version and it just shows a black screen.does any body have a solution for this issue? acrobat Pro XI running window 8.1
I have created two fillable forms that allow the reader to add photos. I created them with Acrobat Pro X. For some reason, readers are able to add photos via other PDF readers such as Foxit or Nitro but not via Adobe Reader. Anyone know why it is happening?
I have acrobat DC pro. I have Canon iP100 printer. I can not print PDF documents. There is no error message. It just "prints" a blank page. I have updated the printer driver. The printer works with other applications.
I have a drop down. What I would like to do is, when I select the first item in the drop down list called doc1.pdf, then it would open. If I select the second item in the list called doc2.pdf, then it would open and so on for the rest of the drop down list. Is it possible using a bit of javascript? If you know how the scripting would you please help me accomplish this? Thank you.

Hi I have recently bought a new printer. It works well and can print any file except PDF files. When I go to print PDF files the printer is not visible in the drop down and I get a message that says I need to install a printer before I can print. Can anyone help please?
I have a creative cloud membership. After a significant hardware change (motherboard, processor) I had to reactivate my Win 10 Pro, newly set up the whole system in my case. During the new installation gave addition to Acrobat and Photoshop, Lightroom and Indesign out error messages. During the day I was asked to perform an update for the last three programs by then the error messages have been eliminated. Only Acrobat still refuses, despite update prompt, the installation to complete without errors. As on the previous day is the error message:Exit Code: 7Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW003, DW071 ...-------------------------------------- Summary -------------------------------------- - 0 fatal error(s), 2 error(s) ----------- Payload: Adobe Acrobat DC 15.17.20050.0 Adobe Acrobat\Setup.exe_15.017.20050 -----------ERROR: DW071: ERROR: DW003: Third party payload installer Adobe Acrobat\Setup.exe failed with exit code: 1603The recommendation of
My end goal is to create a template page that can be used in Microsoft Word and Pages. I created the template file using InDesign and saved it as a PDF. Then used Acrobat to save it as a Word document. When doing so, the formatting of the template becomes way off! Any ideas how to fix this?
How do I install it on my desktop without buying it again.
I am using Acrobat XI Pro and not Live CycleThe goal would be to take an entry from a text field [Name] and drop it into the middle of some text that is generated by one of multiple selections from a pull down selector. A huge bonus to to actually generate formatted text, multiple lines, specific font and size and flush left.Textfield #1: [Name]List Selector or Pulldown List #2 with these selection optionsa) Would like [Name] to joinb) Invite [Name] in the futurec) Exclude [Name] from listWere are creating a printable form from the above inputs so formatting is critical. Thanks!Message was edited by: Edward Franklin
I downloaded Acrobat X. When I try to install, it says my code is invalid. I used the code that was on my profile site and was verified correct by Adobe. Also, I downloaded Acrobat X, but when I'm installing, it says it's Acrobat X Pro, is that correct?
I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I have searched, and I don't seem to find the answer to my specific question. So here goes.I am creating a PDF form that I want to auto populate about 15 other text fields (fields are all different) on the form based on the user entering an id in another field. For example, the user will enter "9999" in field 1, and it will then populate the rest:Field 1 = 9999Field 2 = some infoField 3 = diff infoField 4 = more diff infoetc.Field 15 = yet more diff infoOption 1: The data in those other fields (fields 2-15) is in an excel file. So, do I merge the data, where field 1 acts as the trigger? If so, how do I do?Option 2: Or should I just import a separate .txt file and create separate pdf forms for each user? This seems to be the most easy, but also less automated for the user. Less impressive.Option 3: Should I just create the script specific to each user in the main PDF and then save a separate pdf for each user? Where does it go? In field
I am having difficulty figuring out how to allow only additional signatures to a form once it is signed by the first person in a string of people who will sign it. Is there a "signing existing signature fields" in the "changes allowed" permissions? It does not seem to be an option. We are signing forms and can easily save them as and change data in the form while still showing the existing signatures. Thank you,Chris CarterU.S. Department of AgricultureAlbany, California
Hello! I need an alert to show if the email address input into field 2 doesn't match the email address in field 1. I want the user to manually type into both fields. When they tab out of the second field, I want the email addresses in the two fields to be compared and an alert to show if they don't match. Anyone know how to accomplish this? Thanks so much!
For some reason when someone at the office I work at is converting a document that has hyperlinks into a pdf through acrobat, acrobat adds hyperlinks in places there were not any, as well as adds hyperlinks over the existing hyperlinks. Is there a way to stop this or to scan a document after its converted to check for these errors. This will will become a big problem for us when we are converting 10’000 page documents into pdfs.
In Adobe Acrobat Pro (10.1.1), I click on “Tools” to reveal “Pages,” “Content,” “Forms,” “Action Wizard,” “Recognize Text,” “Protection,” and “Sign & Certify.” When I click on any of those, the small triangle arrow turns to indicate a sub menu is present, but no sub menu appears. Please help me fix that. Operating System: Mac OS 10.10.5
