I want to change the default settings (font, font size, color) for the "add text" editing tool in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I've read suggestions about adding the text, highlighting it, changing it to the specifications I want, then inputting the command of CTRL+E to get to the "properties bar". However, when I bring up the properties bar, it indicates no text was selected, even though the text was definitely selected. That's where I get stopped and can't proceed further. HELP!

Hi, Since the recent update to the Adobe Document Cloud PDF for Microsoft sharepoint there is no save button. It seems to only auto-save now. I experience errors when it does not autosave when I close the PDF, and I lose all my changes. Is there a button or way to manually save the document? Thank you.

Adobe Acrobat OnlineChromeSelecting "Documents" Expected Result: To view a list of documents created and/or organized in separate foldersActual Result: Being navigated to a blank page, with only a navigation bar on the lefthand side. Last week (July 17, 2023), all of my documents were available, along with the folders I had organized them in when I navigated to the "Documents" portal in Acrobat Online. When I logged in this Monday, though, all documents appear to be gone. When I clicked on "Documents," I was led to a blank page, with only the navigation bar on the left hand side. All of my e-templates still exist, my signed documents and webforms are functioning as usual. I am only missing the individual documents and am unable to load new documents. I have never used creative cloud, but I did search there for my docs, and they are not there, either.
Is it possible to lock or stop additional comments from being added to a PDF that has been uploaded to Adobe Document Cloud? I use Adobe Document Cloud to share PDF documents with my customers so they can add feedback. Once they have completed this, I would like to 'lock' the PDF to stop it from being edited further. Is this possible? I've tried to 'unshare' the document and re-upload it with 'commenting' disabled, but this means that none of the previous comments are visible. I want my customers to see the previous comments, but not allow them to add any more after an agreed cut-off point. Thanks, i 🙂

I have already read the document linked below. https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-do-i-update-a-pdf-from-version-1-3-to-1-4/td-p/11223357 According to Dov Isaacs, "By definition, a PDF 1.3 file complies with the PDF 1.4 specification except being labelled as a PDF 1.4 file." I wonder if it is applicable to the 1.4 - 1.7 case as well.

Hi everyone, I am using Adobe Acrobat Online to create online forms (it signature field is realy great among other things). One field that I included on my form is the Files attachment field, to allow respondants to join a document when clicking on this field. Once the form submitted, we receive on our end the form in PDF format with an additionnal page containing the document the person sent. Is there a way to receive this document as an email attachment instead ? I know I can isolate pages via Acrobat Pro but it would be great if it can be automated ahead of time. I hope I managed to be clear enough, please feel free to share your ideas regarding this matter, I thank you in advance ! I wish you a great day, Mélanie
I want to insert a website link into a PDF document using Adobe Acrobat, but I can't find a simple solution. Could you please provide me with step-by-step instructions on how to do this? Also, any advice on making the link more visible and user-friendly within the PDF would be greatly appreciated. [Link to website removed]

For about the last month, we have been unable to utilize the Adobe cloud share to share files. The recipient receives an email message in the link that says "The files have been removed or you don't have access. Contact the document ownder to request access." Any ideas on what the issue is? This is happening for all of our employees.
C'est un doc de 100 pages. Je voudrais retrouver un fond blanc à toutes les pages, la plupart des pages s'affichent et s'impriment sur fond bleu.Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ? martinedor
I was recently trying to upload some photos to Adobe Document Cloud to share them with my colleagues, but Document Cloud does not allow me to upload them. Actually, Document Cloud does not allow me to upload anything. Every time I try, I get an error that reads, "file(s) could not be uploaded. Filetype not supported." I get this error no matter what file type I try to upload, e.g. JPEGs, PDFs, Word docs, etc. And I get this error both on the web browser and desktop app versions of Document Cloud. I have a stable Internet connection, and none of my file names have any special characters. I have seen this question asked before in this community here, but there was no satisfying answer provided. I am hoping someone will be able to help me.
When saving a file and then closing the tab, while it is still being saved, the entire file is simply gone and left as just an empty pdf file. It doesn't ask before closing the tab. I learned this the hard way
Hi, all! I'm attempting to export a credit card statement from PDF to Excel. The issue is that the statement uses a point as a thousand separator (I'm based in Latin America). However, Acrobat Web recognizes the point as a decimal separator, resulting in completely inaccurate data. I have specified that the output format should be in Spanish. Unfortunately, I cannot locate any menu options to resolve this problem in the web App (Acrobat Web). Do any of you have any ideas on how to fix this issue? Thank you very much for your help. Carlos.
I'm trying to compress a pdf that's ~900 pages, mostly text (it's a textbook) and 500MB - this is obviously too big. But when I go to adobe acrobat and try to compress, it gives me an error saying that the PDF is already compressed. I can't deal with such large file sizes on my school computer, and they would defeat the purpose of even having the textbook online. Any help would be appreciated.
helloI am having problems with the documents stored in the cloud of the acrobat reader application. When I try to locate the documents included in a folder created by me, I verify that not all the ones that should be appear. However, if I do a search for the name of one of the documents that doesn't appear in the folder, the search does find the document and I can open it. The strangest thing is that when I open the document via web browser I can check that the document is actually saved in the correct folder. I am attaching screenshots for a better understanding of my problem.
