Hi everyone, is it possible to send out a document through Adobe Sign but not allow the document to be signed before a specific date and time?

Basically i'm trying to add 'formFields' to an existing PDF.I've seen a solution in the API Usage documentation, but when I use that, it always adds the signature field at the end of the PDF.  That's not what I want.So, is there any way to add multiple 'formFields'  for signing, in different pages, and all of them to be signed by the same user who received the email using the API Adobe Acrobat Sign V6?

Hi there! We have a set of blank ordering forms that we would like staff to have access to fill out BEFORE sending it for signature. Is that possible, or would we have to send out a new form each time? Thanks!

Is there anyway to edit the subject of the email for a signed agreement. The current subject line is "Agreement between HIM and Company has been signed and filed. Would like to shorten this.

My company uses 4 message templates on a regular basis. However, there are times when we would like to send a document without a message. I don't see the option to do this now that I have saved message templates. Can someone advise?

The Adobe Acrobat Sign Search (https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/adobesign-search-users-agreements.html#HowSearchWorks) discusses how to search for agreements by externalGroupID. It say the External Group ID is passed in the call to the agreement creation API. However, I don't see field on the /agreement POST to pass the ExternalGroupID.  Has anyone had success settting the externalGroupID. 

Hello,I have an application integration with Adobe Sign APIs and ,when a user opens a sign url, sometimes displays this error message: "The agreement ID specified is not valid" (INVALID_AGREEEMENT_ID).Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance

Hi, May I check on how to i E-sign a document in order for the signed by to appear as "individual name" instead of "Adobe" or "DocuSign" etc?   

Ok.. the FAQ section claims that you can use eSign to capture in person signatures but I can find no way to actually accomplish this.  It seems to require one to SEND the file via email to someone in order to have them sign it.  I am sitting right next to them with my iPad and would like to simply have them sign right here in the flesh beside me.  Can anyone provide some assistance?!

If my team cancel our Acrobat Sign, the documents we have signed when we had the plan lose their value?

I'm not taking any kind of user information from adobe and i don't think there is any requirement of user consent for generating access token. Why i am unable to use access token generated from client ID and secret. I want to use /transientDocuments endpoint but access token provided on the projects page (https://developer.adobe.com/console/projects/) is not working. Use case: Send pdf to user for e-sign. How to generate it programmely, any api for that ? 

When I add to review some persons, I would like to have only one persion's signature in a file.But though I select one Signer and one Approver in e-Sign, there is error code 400 and I can't proceed next step. If possible, I want that a Signer don't need to add a signature.So I am wondering how to use Signer and how to have multiple people review and have one person sign on behalf of the other.

Hi All,  We used VIP Enterprise for Adobe Sign, and we still have remaining transaction limit before of 2,500 before it expires. Can the remaining transaction limit from Adobe Sign be accumulated during renewal? 

We love the Adobe's multilingual options, which is actually why we went with AdobeSign over other options.  I was uploading some templates, however and noticed that Arabic and Haitian Creole, both common langauegs among our clients, are not options.  Do you see adding these languages anytime in the near future?  Thank you.

Is it possible to create a mail merge pdf document for several vendors (each with their own unique values) for them to individually e-sign?I have my letter and data created in Excel & Word, Then I want to create this data into a Mail merge (through word) and then saved as a PDF.I would like each PDF mail merged document to have their signature / title / name fields as e-sign fields.  Is this possible? How do I setup my document so this happends without me having to go an in and edit each PDF document.Thanks ~

Is there a way to display a recipient private message at the top of the AdobeSign email (before the main email message)? Currently, it appears that a private message to a recipient is displayed after (aka under) the main email message.  Thanks!

A document sent for e-signature cannot be opened by recipient. This document requires four signatures, and three have been successfully verified. However, for the fourth signature, the recipient reports "file not found" error on attempting to open to e-sign. This fourth recipient is in China, near Shenzhen. We successfully communicate with him by email on a regular basis. The other four recipients are in Charlotte, North Carolina; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Beijing, China. They all received their documents, opened them and e-signed successfully. Please help. This signature is contingent on closing a substantial contract, which is on hold because of a defect in the Adobe e-signature process. Document created with Acrobat 2023.003.20284 Mac, which was updated a few days ago. Document received by Outlook Mail Windows.  

Could anyone clarify whether a PDF is able to be edited by a client before they sign it? I'm typically sending a document to 2 signatories - one external person who it goes to first, then one internal person at my company for countersignature. It was my understanding that the document was not editable by any of the reciptients - other than any fields and signature fields assigned to them. However, a colleague of mine has said that is a client has a Pro license themselves, then they can edit the document then sign it.  So they are telling me that I must do a comparison of the signed and original file before having it countersigned. Is this true?  If it it, is there any way to prevent this? Thanks.

My boss has an adobe pro account and should be able to sign documents over 100 pages however she still receives an email stating "We were unable to create your agreement LoA_02_2024_VIDS because your document LoA_02_2024_VIDS.pdf exceeds your page limit of 25." Any idea what could be causing this?

Hi there,Since Adobe support is ghosting me, I hope to find help this way.I have two major problems in our pdf form (which is used profesionally):1. I want to send the PDF to be send via button but except for gmail, non other e-mail i could configure to work. I push the button, get no errors or so and it happens nothing. If I configure a gmail-acoount it works, though.2. When I send webhook to zapier (via PDF-button), I get an error message from Adobe Acrobat. Weirdly, everything arrives perfectly fine at zapier. The point is: The PDF-user can see and copy the webhook-URL.Zapier-support, thankfully, did answer and looking for this problem.Any help is very appreciated.Best regards

Hello,So, I'm trying to create a Power Automate flow to send a document for e-sign via Adobe Sign.The automate task should trigger uppon receiving a new item in a list, grab the attached file and send it over for signature.But I'm gettin an e-mail stating that it were unable to create the agreement because it had a problem processing the document.Do I need to set something up in the document beforehand? 

We are using Docusign as a e-signature platform. We have a document that needs to be signed by 6 recipients. 1st, 2nd and 3rd and 6th signers are out of our organization, and they do not use DocuSign, but they prefer their platforms (Beat, Adobe or USB-token).After 4th and 5th Signers (from our organization) finish signing, Document is locked, at least this is what is showing when we open the document with adobe (without any actions from our side, no password added etc.). As a result next signers cannot proceed with their signing (the get a message that document is locked).I contact Docusign support and they informed me that they do not lock the document but it is how Adobe shows the document locked and that i should contact them in order to figure things out.Attached you will find print screen from signature panel where there is another 6th invisible signature and the statement that document is locked. Could you please assist me? At least give some direction on how to procceed.&n
