when I record a video demo it only records in the very top left of the screen, not then entire screen. Like it is magnifying it??Any suggestions?

Taking a course through captivate.  I'm required to answer one of the questions to move forward but it won't allow me to click on an answer.  All the other buttons on the page work when clicked on. 

My captivate prime won't load up. It was working up until yesterday and now won't load up, it highlights the desktop icon as if it is about to load up but ultimately doesn't. I've reinstalled multiple times but it seems my laptop can now not support it. I have a windows 32bit with windows 7 installed on it. I've tried to install on another laptop but it won't even install on that one. It seems I've gone full circle which has been frustrating. Does anyone have any idea or have had a similar issue? Thanks!

Is it possible to do Federated ID SSO using SAML between Adobe Captivate Prime and a custom Identity Provider without claiming a domain? Is the claiming of a domain only required if you plan on using the Adobe Admin Console to do user Management via that console? If we plan on using the Captivate Prime API to do all of our user management and don't plan on using the Admin Console for this do we need to claim a domain? Because our users are not all in the same domain. Our users have thousands of different domains that we cannot claim. Basically I need to know if claiming a domain is a mandatory requirement to use Federated IDs and SSO between Captivate Prime and a custom identity provider that supports SAML? Will SSO still work if we don't claim a domain and the users come from different domains authenticated using SAML via our custom identity provider?

We want to use a custom, external identity provider via SSO within Adobe Captivate Prime (ACP). ACP is the service provider and our custom web app will be the identity provider. We will have courses registered in ACP and we want users to authenticate with our custom web app via SSO. We will setup Federated ID identity types for the users and have looked at how you need to "Claim a Domain" for the user's email. My question is our user's emails are not all at the same domain company. The users have thousands our different domains in their emails. They all have accounts in our custom identity provider system, but have many different domains. The user emails are from our customer's companies and have registered with our product. My question is will thiswork? Or do all users have to be in the same Claimed Domain to authenticate via SSO and ACP?

Hello Community!I'm sharing this visual aid; in case anyone else has experienced this same need.Problem: I needed a full list of ALL learners in Prime, regardless if uploaded into the system via CSV or the Single User workflow.Solution:Export them using the Export User data button.*It's a button/link that can be easily overlooked AND is better than using the link from the Imports Log page (you can click the link for the last successful CSV upload) -- but, it only outputs learners added to the system using this method.Click here for the link to the visual.Regards,Thomas H.Master Electronics

Good day,Our organization uses Adobe Articulate Storyline 360 and Adobe Captivate.  We are trying to find a solution to offering our training courses to individuals outside our LMS.  I know that Articulate has Articulate Online to do this, is Captivate's solution to this Captivate Prime?  We don't need an LMS however; just the ability to track published courses outside our internal LMS.Thanks!Leasha Carey

Two new learners were enrolled in CP at the same time. One received a Welcome E-Mail. The other did not and lost 10 days of their 45 day deadline for completion. Our Training Department helped this learner set-up an Adobe account and training is now underway. Not sure why the problem.

I am evaluating Captivate Prime and have potentially hundreds of courses. The courses are SCORM 1.2 and are currently running on other LMS servers, all successfully pass the ADL test suite. When I import these to Captivate Prime it recognizes the SCORM version and loads the course but it only recognizes it as 1 module. Progressing through the first SCO completes and exits the course even though there are several remaining to be completed.Is Captivate Prime capable of importing Multi-SCO PIFs and what is the recommended process of loading an existing library of Multi-SCO courses to Captivate Prime.

Hi everyone!I am curious if I'm able to record a ZOOM screen share and upload that training/walkthrough to Adobe Capitivate Prime. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I made a csv to upload lots of new users but it gave me so many problems and errors, I gave up. I just added 90 users by hand.  So now that I have everyone set up, I need a csv with their info so I can just add to that file with more users tomorrow. If you don't add onto the CSV, I'm told it will wipe out any ID's not in the csv.  So can the system provide a spreadsheet / csv with user ID, name, e-mail, manager ID, profile etc?? 

I keep reading about a soon to be available mobile iOS application for Prime.  The fine pint says, subject to Apple approval.  Anyone seen this app out and available yet?  I keep seeing the 2016 version in the Apple App Store with the old screen shots. I thought it would have been out by now.  Thanks

I loaded content, created a course, added the course to a certification then put the certification in a learning plan. When I test the course by creating a new user the resource is not available. Any Idea if this is a feature lacking in prime or am I missing something

Is there any way to manage seats not being used?  Other than hoping a department manager calls me to delete an unused Learner ID, I can't figure out how to manage this.  We have 5000 seats and multiple departments across the country. As the Admin how can I make sure seats are not being wasted on people that quit??I asked the managers to add this to the new employee checklist for hires and the exit interview sheet for terminations but its not working.  Is there anything else I can do??  Run a report of inactive user ID's and hope they quit before I terminate the account?  Seems very manual.  We have lots of turn over in remote locations.

I am looking to create a completion certificate widget within the course I created in Captivate 2017. How do I import the Learner information and data from Active Fields I created. My certificate needs to have: Learner name, Company Name(from active field) and completion date.Thanks

I created a classroom module for a live instructor led class next month. Its still in Draft mode, not published.  It will be a 15 day course so each day has its own module under this one course. How do I keep this from the general population and being seen in the catalog.  If I do Publish it, it goes out to everyone I think...I only want a handful of people to see or be enrolled in it. Thanks

About 3 months ago I have purchased the new Captivate 9.....now it has been replaced by a newer version....Paid a arm and a leg to purchase this one.....a little heads up would have been nice, could have waited another 3 months...if the period is longer, I can understand, but 3 months is a bit short to be left with an older software package...I have contacted Adobe, but ...though luck (not in those words) was the message...Very very very disappointing...

We have external users (suppliers) that are required to take a sub-set of a Learning Program. We assign them individually to external users as certifications, as seen in "My Learning" below. However, the external user also sees the other courses in the "My Skills" section which they have not been assigned, nor are they required to take. The external learner thinks that they are required to complete these as well, which creates undue stress on their part..

I'm having two issues with uploading to Captivate Prime:1. When publishing directly from Captivate to Prime, sometimes it does not reflect that I have already uploaded this before. Instead of prompting the "this module has been updated", it asks me to create an entirely new module. 2. When I try to update the module manually in Prime, I zip the new captivate file and upload to the module. It says it updates but I click back into the module it still reads the same zip file before the update.Very frustrating when trying to update modules.
