Hi, I'm having issues rendering videos from Premiere through Media Encoder. Media Encoder will get all the way through the render but gets stuck at the very end leaving me with an incomplete .mp4 file, an unreadable .M4V file, a .aac file, and a .tmp file in my output destination. I don't get any errors, the process just stops and Media Encoder crashes when I stop the render. I am exporting using H.264 format and my computer specs are below:Windows 10 64 bitProcessor: Intel i7-9750H @ 2.60GHzInstalled RAM: 16GbVideo: NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2060 6GB GDDR6 Thanks
How can I sort my source files by creation date in Media Encoder? (or how to keep the original Creation date of files in metadata after transcoding?)
Should it take7 hours to render a 30 minute video from Premiere Pro? Not 4K footage, using GPU acceleration. Nvidia driver is their studio driver! What am I missing?
Hello. I was exported a lot of time on Media Encoder and now I have a new problem. Hello. Sadly I am on an older Mac. It's running El Capitan. I need a link to down an older version of Media Encoder that will work. I managed to succesfully do the same with Premiere Pro. In that case a very kind Adobe Tech Support person guided me to the right place. Hopefully I will be as lucky with my quest for Media Encoder.Oh and I would love to get an equally compatible version of Prelude too. I know I'm in the dark ages. Many thanks.

Hello, Media Encoder stops encoding with an error while trying to recode a 142 GB file. Meanwhile, VLC does the job without problems. My problem is that this file is part of a Premiere project and I am afraid Media Encoder will crash trying to render that Premiere project. Any idea or tip would be appreciated. Here is the error I get:Error retrieving frame 19389 at time 14:04:30:09 from the file: c3.mov, substituting frame 19388
If i import my After Effects Data in the Media Encoder (v14.4), it shows me that my Data will be loaded, but the window for the Dynamik Link Server is missing(,where i pick my composition) and then i am stuck in the loading screen. Older Media Encoder (v13.15 / v12.1.2) version are working fine. In the appendix you will find a picture of the problem.

Hi. I know this has been posted multiple times, but now Media Encoder over saturates my work. It's weird because yesterday wasn't and today it is. (And it's not an update problem because today before I updated the software it was the same). Please I need help, I can't keep working! I tried everyting, every solution in the web but nothing is working. Im going crazy for real. Here are some images for example.
Hello guys,Recently I've downloaded a presentation template from the internet for project purpose which contains, Element 3D. I was able to work within it because I decreased the resolution to its quarter and my GPU was able to load the pressure. But I need to deliver it to 1080P. But my GPU or computer is taking too long to render the composition. I already wasted so much time at night to render it on my own but somehow it doesn't complete. and I am very near to my deadline. So is there anyone who is using a super-fast computer and able to help me to render this file and upload it so that I can download it? It would be very appreciated if someone can. Sorry for asking something like this, i know this is not the place for this kind of helo. but this is my last option. ThanksRegardsShahriar Khan
When I Encoding with mxf file, Checking with Sony Content Browserthat creates unknown black frame, but I can't check it in Premiere Pro What should I do in this case? cf) My export preset : "XDCAM HD 50 NTSC 60i"
Updated today to try and fix the issue, but Media encoder will not load an export sequence when sent from premiere
Using After Effects, I'm able to render out a comp containing mainly GPU acclerated effects. Plenty of Fractal Noise, Gaussian blur, Levels. The footage is 1080p, I'm working in a 16bit comp. Everything works fine, but of course I can't actually use my computer at the same time. When I send this comp to Media Encoder, the comp is rendered with "this effect requires GPU acceleration" in place of the VR Chromatic Aberration. A quick google suggests that the issue is with the amount of VRAM I have available on my GPU. This is understandable, but I'm using a rig with 3 GTX 1070s all of which have 8GB of VRAM. When rendering from AE, the VRAM used is returned as about 2GB which seems about right. I'd estimate I've got at least another 3GB available once Windows has taken it's cut. Just in case, I've assigned my monitor and AE to separate GPUs for OpenGL processing, so there should be a lot left for Media Encoder to work with. I may well be doi
I'm using Media Encoder 14.4 (build 35), which I have confirmed there is HEVC (H.265) within the system presets, but it still can't decode video files shot with canon log (hevc 10bit 4:2:0). At the same time, my Premiere 14.4.0 (build 38) can decode the same video file, but I need to create proxy using Media Encoder. Please help, thanks.
Hello since my last edit on after effect which lasts about 55 seconds with about 150 files on it, I wanted to export it to Adobe media encoder 2020 but for the first time it crashes during the export, the ram did no problem with the export gold and I have no idea how to settle it if someone has an idea I'm a buyerThank you.
Hello,At work, we've recently updated to a Windows 10 and Adobe Media Encoder CC 2020. We were running an old Mac and Media Encoder CC 2018. I was moving over our user presets to the new PC and one preset isn't transferring correctly. For our broadcasting sever it takes MOV format with the video codec XDCAM EX (See Below)When I move this preset to the PC it's missing the XDCAM Video Codec. (See Below)It changes the codec to animation and isn't even an option under the drop-down menu. I know XD CAM is under MXF Codec but we find this preset to be the most reliable for our server. Also whoever came up with this preset was before my time.So is there a way to get the video codec XD CAM under a Quicktime MOV in Windows 10 Media Encoder CC 2020?
I am starting my own thread because there have been no responses to other threads I am following. In the last day, AME has stopped working for me. Here are the details: I can export PP sequences one at a time from PP but when I add them to the queue for AME it gets stuck on "Reading XMP.I am running PP and AME 14.3.2 running MAC OS Mojave 10.14.6. I can't upgrade to Catalina.I already tried:Restarting.Holding the shift key when opening AME.Changing the MPE from GPU to Software.Downgrading to previous version of AME. Unchecking "Import sequence natively" in AME.Unchecking XMP export from PP. Unchecking all XMP/Metadata options in AME. I have absolutely NO markers in my PP project. I need to be able to "batch export" by sending mulptple sequences to AME and I need to be able to use PP while AME exports. Please help.
It's my first time using media encoder. I was just trying to convert an mp4 to dvd Region 1 format. It's a video for a funeral service. please help thanks
First off - love the update and it really great how fast it converts files. Huge improvementWhen it is converting from 1080p 50M MP4 source down to 1080p 5m H.264 for upload it uses about 35% CPU and 45% GPU and 30-40% Memory usage. What am I missing to max out either the CPU or GPU ? My setup is as follows:Ryzen 3950X32 GB Ram DDR-3200M.2 Boot 1TB2(1TB) SSD in Raid 0 with Source filesGeforce 1080
Since recent updates to Adobe Media Encoder my Mac [3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 64GB Ram] stutters when I render anything! I thought buying the latest Mac would speed things up! The same render direct from After Effects or Premiere or a third party Encoder has no problem and I can carry on working. The renders take eaxctly the same amout of time! Why is AME taking up all the CPU? I can't even use a browser while it is rendering! Are there any controls to suppress the number of cores it utilizes? I have tried assigning RAM in different proportions to the Adobe packages. I have tried switching between hardware and software rendering. These does not solve the problem. I downloaded the media encoder cc 2020 and when I start the application it "crashes" on a screen saying "Loading liquify.prm". What do I do?
Hey guys, I created a number of vertical videos (2160x3840) in After Effects rendered with the lossless preset. From there I used the YouTube 4K preset in Media Encoder to prep the videos for uploading to YouTube. With the videos now uploaded and playing back vertically beautifully and in 4K resolution on desktop, to my surprise they only play back on mobile (I've only checked iPhone) in up to 480p. I also tried rendering at other resolutions to see if it was a 4K issue. I tried full HD and 1440p and got the same low res results on playback from mobile. Could this be a render settings issue? p.s. I have tried to seek help from YouTube but they don't seem to think it's a YouTube issue, although they weren't too helpful in general. Thanks in advance for any help. Example: https://youtu.be/i2F6KRCoXoc
Has anybody experienced Media Encoder being unable to launch in ALL version of 14.3?I have had to roll back to 14.2 to be able to use it. Strangely, I get NO error message on screen at all.I'm using a 5K imac with 16GB of Ram and ALL the other Adobe software is working, just not Media Encoder. It looks to be loading, I see all the plugins across the splash screen and then... it just disappears! No warning, no message. I double checked activity monitor and it just doesn't launch. I use only a few plugins from FX Factory and keep on top of updates. I have even tried to delete these and nothing works. After effects and Premiere Pro are working just fine. Any thoughts or tips on how I can get it to work? And I have tried Command+Option+Shift whilst launching to reset the preferences. thanks in advance for any help.
I'm trying to transcode some footage into either DNxHR HQ UHD 25 or Apple ProRes 422 however when I do, the option to export video is greyed out and the finished product comes out as a large file with only audio. We shot in S-Log 2, UHD, 25fps, on a Sony FS7. I've attempted to transcode the footage on both a Mac and PC but I can't do either DNxHR or ProRes on either. I am on a student Adobe account. Thanks for your time.
