I had an issue with my video flashing green in Adobe After Effects but talked to customer support/ looked at the forums and got it fixed. When played through AE there is no green flashing. But, now when I convert the file to an mp.4 it flashes green. Not little lines on the screen, I mean the whole video flashes green. This is really frustrating. I have all my drivers up to date and am using the latest versions of the programs. Please help!
HI' I'm trying to downsize a video from (1920 X 1080) to (448 X 252), but alll my typos and logos getting distort. It used to work a year ago.... Someone's having a solution? Title edited by Mod
Why hasn't Adobe added the ability to add the Source Range to a preset? Having to manually set the Source range for every clip is beyond tedious. This is literally the only thing that keeps using Episode Pro intead of Media Encoder. In Episode I have a clients preset group. Within that group I have different compression settings for each station and I can set the start and end time to remove slates for those stations that don't want them. I would have thought that this would have been added to Media Encoder a long time ago. If I am missing something I would be grateful for the correction. Thanks - Benny
I work in television. We make a lot of mxf/mp4 renders. We noticed renders in Media Encoder crashes (ae 2019/2020) a lot when you close After Effects during the Media Encoder rendering. (When we render same project and dont close AE, everything is fine). Same project in AE 2018 never crash, with or without AE working same time. We try rendering on GPU and CPU same resoluts.
I've just converted a two and half minute MP4 clip, originally from an iPhone. Something strange has happened; When I playback the converted file, everything is ok until at about 45", the video repeats from the top while the audio continues normally. So the video is now out of sync from that point. Then the same thing happens about 35" later, with the video repeating from the top while the audio continues correctly. I've tried this twice with exactly the same result, What on earth is going on here?(For info, the source clip is 1920 x 1080, 30.006 fps, Progressive. The output is MXF, 1280 x 720, 59.94fps, Progressive.)Thanks, Tim
I'm using a "Plexgear" or "DigitNow" Videograbber to convert my Hi8 Sony Handycam tapes into digital file. I run macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 and Media Encoder 2020. I cant find any settings on the videograbber to create the files as something else. Here is the user manual if that can help answer my question: https://www.kjell.com/globalassets/mediaassets/504641_97100_manual_en.pdf?ref=224503B2F3What does this message mean in this case and how to solve it?
The subject line kinda sasy it all: I'm trying to encode a Prores4444 720x480 Quicktime from 24 fps to 23.976 fps in Adobe Media Encoder 2019 (13.1.5) for an m2v for DVD but getting dropped frames on playback. The dropped frames seem to happen (noticeably) at the same three places, no matter whether it's a VBR or CBR encode and whatever settings. In all other respects I'm happy with the quality but I can't get past this issue. It's so weird. I've even sucked the Quicktime source into Premiere Pro and exported from there without a problem. I'm attaching my encode settings for reference. What am I doing wrong? Or what can I do to fix this? Thanks.
hi therei have been searching all over the net to solve this problemi have a GTX1050ti graphic card but i can't use it to renderi can see that in the progresscan any one help me???

Hello, I've been using Creative Cloud for almost 2 years now. I'm working on an animation project in After Effects but I'm getting error messages after I updated all of my apps to their latest versions. When I try to export my file to Media Encoder, It says: "AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLInkServer: Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Please download and install it to use this feature. Go to https://creative.adobe.apps . ( 5027 :: 12 )After I click "OK" I get the next message:AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLinkServer: Failed to connect to Adobe Media Encoder. ( 5027 :: 12 )"Media Encoder and all other Creative Cloud apps are installed and up to date. How to solve this?
I have to encode video a lot and the ram is never utilized enough it takes so long to run a video through. The computer has Two (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v4 @ 2.10GHz, 2101 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)) and 32GB of ram but the Media Encoder never uses more than 15GB with the memory preference set at 28gb. As the video encodes the ram usage goes down but never up.
Hi Guys- maybe a stupid question but can i download and use 'media encoder' stand alone? I just need Media Encoder nothing else. And if not, so if it needs to come as an add-on to other adobe software what is the cheapest to buy since i won't need it :).... Thanks for your time to help me out. Rgs, Ilko
I upgraded to PP and AME 2020. Now I can't run anything through a queue. AME just crashes as soon as I hit the start button. It still works fine to create a batch of proxies out of Premiere with "Creat Proxies." I have reinstalled and deleted various files inDocuments > Adobe > Adobe Media Encoder I can't work without the ability to run a queue.
after update to 2020, drag and drop(After effect to media incoder ) dose not working anymore. what the bug!
Hello,I've been converting MTS to H.264 files for a job recently for archiving and storage space.Creating an H.264 and cropping the footage greatly reduces the space taken up by all the MTS footage. However, I've noticed that after export, the H.264 files are a few frames off in terms of sync. I crop from the beginning and end, where there is "garbage". I have the settings to Match Source with Adaptive Low Bitrate. Where am I erring and how (if any way possible) can I transcode these MTS files without the audio/video going out of sync? Windows 10Adobe Media Encoder 2019Below is the MediaInfo on the clip I am trying to transcode
I made a 4k 60fps video around 14 minutes, but it took entire 2 hours for an RTX 2080 to render, to my knowledge, this is not correct, I checked task manager and both 2080s are at around 30%, but CPU is to 100%, is there a way to make media encoder to fully utilize my RTX 2080s?
When I updated to CC 2020 Media Encoder started to shut down with it reached loading Video Co-pilot plug ins. I reinstalled it and it continued to crash at the same boot time with no error message. I decided to download the earlier version to see if it was a 2020 bug and it continued to happen. The only way I can get any version of Media Encoder to work is by deleting the video co-pilot plug in folder from the 7.0 Media Core folder before launching. Is there a fix for this?
Hope someone can help, I am trying to create watch folders for Media Encoder. I follow the steps, but when I add a file absolutely nothing happens. The same file will manually process, but the watch folder ignore it. It will encode an MP4 file automatically but no After Effects or Premier Pro files. Is there something super obvious I am missing?
Hi all,Would be grateful for some help. I've shot some footage on a Sony FS7, edited and graded in Avid Media Composer and run it through Adobe Media Encoder to get it on vimeo. As you can see from the attached screengrab, the vibrant colours and contrast disappears on output. The first is the exported MXF file and the second the resulting mp4 file from AME. I'm doing a VBR 2-pass at 35Mbps. Is there something I'm doing wrong? The footage looks so nice but I can't get it to look like that on the web 😞 Thanks in advance.
Few days ago, My media encoder autonatically updated to 2019 (Which is wierd cause I close the check box to avoid automatically update.), though this cause the error since I am still using old version of AE and primere and seems the Dynamic link won't work between them(I don't wanna update them cause some of my projects are still working)And I couldn't find the old versions on Creative Cloud to re-install the 2018 Media Encoder CC.I really need some suggestions to help me through this situations....
I've tried all types of solutions found online listed below and still nothing. I cannot get it to open either from After Effects -> Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue or launched from the desktop. Here are the things i've tried with no luck: - Shift + click to refresh preferences- Added a script .bat file in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder CC 2019 following this tutorial : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THClahPRvWA&feature=emb_title- Deleted all text and made read-only X19zbGNfZmVhdHVyZXNfXw==.slc in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache. Then tried deleting it altogether.- Deleted everything in: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache And C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache Files- I don't have these folders : C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder\7.0 or C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\AME\7
Over the last few months I've had to export multiple short DCPs through AME with increasingly diminished returns, weirdly enough. All files have been ProRes 422 or 422 HQ 1920x1080, 24fps and all DCPs have been 2k flat, 24fps, JPEG2000, Progressive w square pixels.Originally it seemed like every export over around 15 minutes would stall out and crash, but in the last month it's worsened to the point of no DCPs finishing encoding. Both Premiere and AME are up to date and I'm on OS X 10.11.6.Seems like its probably the same issue as this thread from Feb: Wraptor 2K DCP crashes which was marked answered with Adobe promising a fix in the next update. I haven't heard anything since and strangely don't see too many people having this problem across the internet. Thanks for any ideas/fixes.
Hi,Everytime I try to lunch Media encoder either from inside an adobe product or by itself i get an error message that reads "Adobe Media encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue." What do I do to fix this situation I use this product quite often to render my projects and would really like to keep using it rather than render in after effects or premiere.Mod: updated title of post for search purposes
i had to re render a video to fit twitter for a quick post and the result is a post with what looked like a 720p video with 0.3 Mbps Biterate where infact it should have 2.1Mbps (( to be clear the video DID come out with 2.1Mbps but looked like it has 0.3 and the video was rendered from a 1080p file ))
