when rendering a sequence with a essential graphic mogrt, it is not rendering right in media encoder. When rendering straight out of premiere everything is right. The mogrt has a simple expression with a slider that is used to change a number shown in a lower third. Media Encoder seams to ignore this expression and instead of showing the right number it shows 1 every time the lower third is used.
I,ve been trying to export a project to a local file, and export results in an empty file of 1kb. The only way the export works is if i export to desktop And the same thing happens to my colleague who is working on a different computer. I have contacted adobe help desk which lead to nothing. The problem started today. Last thursday was just fine I need help ASAP
I have made a Video that is only 3 minutes long. Triple checked that no extra files were left in the timeline and it added 2:04 making the total video of 5:04 and playing black screen until finished. I did it twice to make sure it was not a fluke. Adobe Premiere 23.2 & Adobe Media Encoder 23.2 encoded to H264 Match Source Adaptive High Bitrate
Everything I send from The latest version of Premiere Pro to Media encoder exports successfully ACCEPT It will not important and include any adjustment layers I have active in the premiere sequence. I put all my color grades on adjustment layers and they are not sending over to media encoder in the final exports. Why is this happening and how do I resovle it?
want to render after effects clips, but i just got broken clips. windows 10 prof pc. find no other help then hopefully here! thanx in advance!
Cannot produce H.264 3840x2160 @ 30P L5.1 format out of After Effects / Media Encoder. The resolution always changes to 2304x1296. I think maximum level for 5.1 should be able to do this (3,840×2,160@31.7), according Wikipedia atleast (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Video_Coding). Level6 can do such format but on end system the format seems not to be very smooth.
I am using Premiere Pro 22.1.2 (Build 1) and Media Encoder 22.1.1 (Build 25), Windows 10-Pro, but this problem has been happening over several years and several major versions. My co-workers have the same problem.Problem:If I use a clip in a Premiere pro sequence that already includes captions, when I go to export the sequence in Media Encoder, Media encoder starts, but never encodes any video. The status says "Encoding" but the progress bar stays empty and there is no time estimate given. The encode never finishes even after leaving it alone for many days. There is never an output file created, even with zero size. Task manager shows Media Encoder using 0% CPU and no disk time. The source files that contain captions are .mxf op1a XDcam. They contain 608 and 708 captions.I am wanting to output to the same file type. The problem happens whether or not I select captions to be embedded on the output file. If I directly export out of Premiere there are no problems. It only ties u
Using ME 23.1 build 81.Premier Pro 23.0.0 build 63. Exporting 1080i25 sequence and sending to ME produces a progressive output. The same sequence directly exported from Prem Pro will correctly be interlaced. Both exports have Upper-field first setting.
I can't get any projects to import into Media Encoder, if I try through After Effects nothing happens, if I manually locate a project, the dialogue for choosing a composition infinitly "loads" saying connecting to the project. Media Encoder version 23.1macOS Monterey v12.6Steps: either use the menu option in After Effects "Add to Media Encoder Render Queue" or open Media Encoder and press the + icon to manually add a projectExpect the project to be added so I can render videoActual result is nothing, nothing happens, it loads for ever (left it going for over an hour)
My Sequence in Premiere is 1920x1080 Upper Field First (interlaced) 25 fps. So my material does have 50 frames (just divided into fields), so the motion is (or should) be smooth. When I Export directly from Premiere (not through Adobe Media Encoder), I get the expected result. The motion is smooth, file is 50 fps. When I send to AME to export, the result is completely different. Motion is 25 fps (not smooth) even though metadata says 50 fps. So this seems to be a terrible bug. How do I export truly at 50 fps (motion compensated deinterlacing to progressive) via AME? Because I have tons of files, it's impossible to export one by one inside Premiere. By the way has deinterlacing of Premiere changed over the years (say in 5 years) or does it use the same algorithm as before? I'm not sure if Premiere originally supported motion compensation deinterlacing, probably not? When did it start supporting that?

Hey, since 1 hour i have following problem - every clip i render with media encoder looks at the rendering time (preview monitor) good - but after it finished - its just a 24 byte file -its happen with the h264 codec i have win 10 64 bit
27 Hours for 10 minute video...Still rendering, I am FULLY updated on all software including OS. I use Red Giant Universe and Boris FX Contium and Saphire. ALL updated. Rendering .mov (ProRes LT) to reduse H264 decompressing as this footage will be reused again and again. I have Audio as there si no audio. I am looking at near 30 hours for 10 minutes??? I mean my god, Adobe may REALLY want to find this as apparently I am not alone. GPU is barely being used. The big issue? Good luck findign the cause. 3 days ago I rendered and it took just abotu 12 hours which I thought was nuts, had soem areas needing adjusting (masking) and now I am more than double??? Can Adobe brute force Nvidia to do 100% of the work?? Its barely used. I can only imagine if this was for a client. Im ok if my GPU sounds like a super sonic turbine spinning if it means it gets used to render faster.
Hi, We have an issue here, trying to get Media Encoder to open. It just hangs on the opening tile. I have tried rolling back a couple of versions but it doesn't help. This is a new install of Adobe suite 2023, on a Gigabyte A5, i7 with a GTX 3070TI. Running Windows 11. Can anyone help? Thank you.
I upgraded to Premiere and Media Encoder 2023. Larger MXF files will not render in Encoder - they just sit there in the queue after exporting from Premiere. Short 30 second clips will encode and larger MXF files will encode if added to the queue after a file exported in H.264 format. If the larger MXF file is the only object in the queue, it will not ever start converting.
I can't get any of the H.264 presets to generate audio in the target file. I'm backing up to V22. Please let me know when this is corrected. The new version is also just plain unstable (locked up a few times trying to generate the final multiplexed file after encoding).
Good Evening every one, media encoder give me this error, " Offline media has been detected and will be encoded using offline graphics" I haven't any clip offline in my project of premiere pro.. Can some one help me to resolve?thanksFrancesco
We've found when exporting content in Media Encoder on both a MacBook Pro and an iMac Pro that the second audio channel has been muted. So far I have tested transcoding from a mutlichannel ProRes 422 HQ to stereo H.264, AVCi100 and ProRes Proxy. All transcodes resulted in Channel 1 containing audio and channel 2 being muted. Is there any fixes available for this? On one of our machines, we're unable to downgrade to an older version.
Hello, i have a problem with gif exporting. Always it was good but after windows reinstall its bugged. So i make a mp4 file and i need to convert it to gif. When i do it media encoder doing many files but not a gif, like it export every gif frame. Can somebody help me with this issue
The lastest vesrion just stops constantly. Literally in the middle of jobs it just stops and won't go any further. It is happening across multiple workstations at different locations. No 3rd party plugins. We can't get it to link more then one or two jobs from AE. After that they simply won't go over. Even if you close and restart it simply won't accpet the jobs. If you select "Add to render queue" from AE it will load ME but the jobs won't add.It is literally useless. We are getting maybe 1 out of every 3 or 4 jobs to work.
With the latest update of Media encoder, rendering of some videos is much faster, but the texts that I have integrated encounter display problems. They seem to "move" and shift. I didn't have this problem before. For information, the rendering time has gone from 50 minutes with the 2022 version to 10 minutes with the 2023 version.
Gracias!JP
