I bought a second Mac Pro, just to be able to process my videos while I am still editing on the other computer. However, I have to subscribe and unsubscribe from a SECOND CC account just to do that one thing during larger productions. Please allow a second machine to operate Media Encoder simultaneously.🙂
New PC at workEncoder 2024 crashes and freezes all the time, its uselessHow can you fix this for me
I've been having the weirdest issue recently when exporting videos through Media Encoder and Premiere. At different points throughout a video, the exported video will crunch the frames (looking like the image referenced below), throwing the audio out of sync with the video. I think the problem might be related to my GPU, but even when I switch it to software only, it still has weird frames like this. I've tried everything from re-installing drivers to uninstalling and re-installing premiere and media encoder. Has anyone else had this problem before? It's also worth noting that the drop frames like this are in different spots with each export, so it's not related to a specific video clip or part within the sequence. My computer specs are:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 TiIntel Core i7-7820x 3.6 GHz64 GB of RAM
I'm trying to convert a .mov file to a H.264 mp4 file using Media Encoder. The source video it is not displayed once I add it to the Queue. A black screen is shown in the Source and Output windows and Media Encoder is exporting black videos. I am using the default preset Match Source - High Bitrate for the H.264 format. Thanks!
Hello,So none of my AE projects are getting rendered as h.264 via media encoder since last week. Been getting this error repeatedly and I haven't found out why so far. I'd updated to the latest version around the same time but I also tried downgrading it and still didn't seem to solve the issue.System:MSI GP73 Leopard 8RF,Windows 11, Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2201 Mhz, 6 Core(s), GTX1070RAM: 32GB----------------------------------------------------------Encoding Time: 00:00:1505/16/2022 07:25:20 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Export ErrorError compiling movie.Render ErrorRender returned error.Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: G:\personal\test.mp4Writing file type: H264Around timecode: 00:00:00:24Rendering at offset: 0.000 secondsComponent: H.264 of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: -1609629695I've tried changing to the software renderer but it was still a no go. Is there still no way to create a proxy render preset that lets you match audio settings, and set the resolution of only one side while keeping the aspect ratio? It really sucks to send a bunch of files to media encoder, not realizing that some of the files weren't recorded with audio in the camera. Premiere doesn't both checking the files against each other, so it renders them, then tells you that you can't use the file as a proxy because the audio doesn't match. The same goes for when someone uses Canon and records 4 channel audio even though they aren't using it. (Very annoying) It just doesn't make much sense that you need to create different presets for Every change other than framerate. I've got a 16:9 and 17:9 preset for h.264, h.265, a couple proRes sizes, etc. And if I have an audio mismatch, I've got to create another one? Am I missing something? I am currently looking into a way to just have some watch folders using ffmpeg instead because you Can do that
With the same 40 minutes video- on the same computer, Adobe Premiere finished the export in 12 hours. With Media Enoder - After 12 hours I still have 90 hours left -and the estimated remaining time just keeps going up.(see the attached print screen)The only difference from the 2 exporting is that in Premiere Pro the export was with 2 muted (by accisent) sound tracks. Now, -it's the same basic laptop (without a quality graphic cards) opted for software only rendering. For me the only reason to export within the Media Encoder is the stop-continue option-nothing else. The process > export settings in Premiere > send to Media Encoder > Turned OnMy questions :1- Why is there no option to pause and continue the export within Premiere Pro? (assuming it's the same rendering engine)2- Correct me if I'm wrong - a software designed specifically for rendering /exporting video should't be faster than software designed mainly for editing?
I find that I always have to run my videos, after exporting from Premier Pro (either with ME or the in-app export in PP) through Handbreak in order to reduce them to a size that's more conducive to the Internet. I know you can reduce bit rates and such, but it would be a better workflow to have a "Handbrake-like" option within Media Encoder (and Premier Pro). If they can do it, why can't Adobe?
Hi there , I have followed all instructions below to use LUTs, however you send the export to Media encoder, the export does not apply the LUT. https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/selected-luts-not-applied-to-media-encoder/m-p/14068451 Copied LUts into The Program{package} files/Adobe/Common/LUTs folder ,doesn't work.Have full Administrator permissions to run both Premier and Encoder .Lut names have no space or characters. Can you share any compatible to run for BT2020 conversions to BT 709 ? Why i can't import LUT into Encoders? Can this be done?Do we need to import into Encoders too?I have tried 3 different LUTs, but Encoder can't import it ,but Premier can do Thanks in advanceSelcuk
I recently updated to the latest versions of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, and as for the Audition, After Effects and Premiere features, I can certainly see an improvement. With Media Encoder, though, it's totally another story. I've been editing podcasts that last in average an hour and a half to two hours, and it usually take about 1 to 2 hours to render. Since the update, I've seen it climb to about 10 hours without doing anything different (Even though I don't see could have been done to upset rendering that much). Any insights on what could cause this issue? It's really a deal breaker for me if something as simple as this simple podcast takes 10 hours, I don't want to see anything with high production...
Hi there,I experience a strange bug in Media Encoder. The SEQ TC is not showing correctly when i send the export to MediaEncoder. Instead of "SEQ TC: 10:00:00:00", which is shown in Premiere Pro and the Export Window in Premiere Pro, in MediaEncoder it is shown as "SEQ TC:#{nbsp}10:00:00:00.I use the newest Premiere Pro 24.1 and Media Encoder 24.1.1.I use the effect Metadata & Timecode Burn-In on a Adjustmentlayer (Metadata: Sequence Timecode, Metadata Label: checked, Field Symbol: unchecked, Format: SMPTE, Time Display: Source Frame Rate)If i uncheck the Metadata Label it turns out fine. I think the space between the label and the actual timecode is not rendered correctly (nbsp = no break space). Exported directly in Premiere Pro everything is fine. Also tried switching from hardware to software in mediaencoder, same issue. This is really annoying, when we are mastering and have to export like 60 Timelines at once. You cant export each timeline sperately in Premiere Pro. This is a
My comps never go from after to media encoder. I already reinstaled media encoder but it doesn't seem to work... Anyone know why?
Hi All, I have a live training that was recorded via Webex. In order to put in my LMS it must be converted. So I put it in ME, and once it is done converting and I watch it at 32 minutes it has started the audio over again. The video continues to play, but the audio starts over. App is up to date 24.1.1. Windows 10 Enterprise.
Hello there! I search hours about that issue and find nothing tlaking about this particular problem , so i decided to be the pioneer reporter of this error. (Don`t know if its a good thing). When i put to render in Media Encoder, it render all the video and, at the End, show me a Positive Sign with a yellow alert. When i put to play, VLC cant play this, or other media reprodutor as well. I Found the issue in here that is the space of the disk, that adobes reads like its out of space, but it is not. My solution is every time i want to render, put the desktoip destination, then it works fine. This issue is happening to me in Windows 10. In Mac system i can render in the path normaly. Sorry for my bad english, im a Brazilian! And thanks for now!
Hey,2 days ago my Media Encoder started to run into problems when rendering WebM files.I use the export option of After Effects to export WebM files with the Media Encoder and it's been working well up until recently, where it started to fail with the following error message:------------------------------------------------------------ - Encoding Time: 00:02:11 03/15/2022 11:44:11 AM : Encoding Failed ------------------------------------------------------------ Export Error Error compiling movie. Hello everyone! I've been using Premiere Pro 2020/Media Encoder 2020 for a few years, and now I'm testing out 2023/24 versions. However, I've encountered an issue where a functionality that worked in the 2020 version seems to be missing in the newer ones. Here's the scenario: I have both Premiere Pro and Media Encoder open, and I want to export a project to Media Encoder. In the 2020 version, Media Encoder automatically appears on the screen when I click on "Send to Media Encoder", but in the newest versions, it doesn't. Instead, I have to click and open it from the menu bar manually. Is there any setting that can enable this option? It would save me a lot of time in the future. To summarize, Media Encoder is already open, and I just want it to appear automatically on the screen.
Hey team, After Effects rendering has a powerful fuction which is "include Project Link" when you export an video. If I use Media encoder, does it have a similar function? Same question to Premiere
Hello friends, I use the media encoder daily and very frequently. We exported several sequences from the premiere in queue and the suggestion is that it would be possible to add a feature to save the queue and its settings such as format, preset and output file. Because a single project is used for each client with multiple sequences in it, we render the sequences in different formats for different outputs, and this feature would be very nice. Every time the queue completes and we reopen the Media Encoder it is necessary to import the project and select the sequentially define the format of each one, preset and output. Thanks in advance!
I have files on my PC I have downloaded from my GoPro camera. These are downloaded as .mp4 files and are unusable by Adobe Express in my video project. I then downloaded Adobe Media Encoder to be able to convert the files to a format that Adobe Express can use. I don't see .mov as an option (this is the file type from my iPhone that Express has no problem using). I have tried to convert to a lot of different formats and still nothing seems to work with Adobe Express. Is there a file type I can convert these to in Media Encoder so that Adobe Express can use them?
Trying to output some files in Apple Prores on the Media Encoder 2024 version. Was this option removed or is it under a different name now? Please advise.
When I import m4v files into premiere or encoder, it does not bring in the audio. There is audio in the file. How do I make it import the audio as well?I have a library of m4v files I'm trying to re-export as mp4 or mov files. I did a batch and lost the audio on all of them.
I have a problem when uninstalling adobe media encoder, when I try to uninstall my pc I experience a blue screen which causes the uninstall process to be interrupted, I find that adobe media encoder is still there but cannot be uninstalled, I tried to find a way via youtube but it didn't work, I downloaded adobe media encoder but the version is different from the most recent version I'm not sure if that's what makes my adobe media encoder not detect the version and cannot be uninstalled, I'm confused what to do. in this case my adobe media encoder is 24.1 and in adobe creative cloud is available 24.1.1 I don't know what to do, please anyone help me
So I was trying to export an animation I made on Adobe Animate, but when got to the Media Encoder, it isn't even loading at all. Please help. (Note: Everything is completely updated)
When I have multiple projects in the Media Encoder queue and I go back into a project to edit something in premiere pro CC. Do the edits automatically update in the project? Or do I have to clear the project from the queue and redo the export to Media Encoder. The watch folders are useless as most computers can't render and edit at the same timeIf I do, you are all fired.-Kerry
I have a two computer setup. the first computer is my main computer that i use for most things in my life and my second is a sever. the server stores all of the video files locally and is running media encoder with a watch folder. on my main computer i open up premiere pro and create a new project. i then use the video files on the server to edit them. i save the project to my local machine as a backup then i save a copy to the watch folder. Then media encoder on my server renders it leaving my main machine open for other things. This worked fine yeasterday but today when i tried the same thing the exported video had a red error screen saying media offline. I looked up fixes online but everything i have found says to turn of import sequences natively. i tried that it didn't work. i tried rebooting the server that doesn't work. i haven't changed any settings since yeasterday and it worked fine then. Does anyone know how to fix this.
