I have a 1080p 60fps 7 minute video that I made in After Effects that I want to render. On After Effects, Media Encoder, and Premiere Pro I have the CUDA GPU accelerator turned on. When ever I try to render the video, my GPU usage stays are around 8-10%, as if its not being used at all, and I see my CPU as 8-17%, and only four of the 12 cores in my CPU are being utilized, and its not even to the fullest. I don't know how to fix it so that its actually utilizing my GPU. Please help! Specs:Ryzen 9 3900X64GB 3200MHz RamRTX 30802 2TB m.2 NVMe SSD
After installing Media Encoder and Premiere, App won't open completely and crashes.I've tried installing 5 earlier versions but still always same problem occurs.
I am trying to export a project from AE into ME for rendering. The project consists of a video file with chromakey effects applied to it over a background image. The preview in AE shows no issues but when the project is rendered in ME (the export format is H264 for an mp4), the background image is there and so is the audio for the video but no actual video. I attempted various solutions including clearing my media cache and changing settings but no avail. I've been working on this project for far too long and need to get it out. Thank you! I'm using AE and ME 2021.
Recently the audio is completley out of sync after rendering. Now even the videos I rendered prior to having this problem are out of sync. Other videos that I did not create are fine. I found out through support, for another issue, that ME is having problems with h.264 format, but I don't under the videos that were already rendered and working fine previously are now being effected. I've tried watching the videos on my other mac and I'm having the same issue. I've already reached out to Apple and they couldn't help. iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017) 16gb
Hi everyone,So I have a Intel i5-10400F series CPU, which doesn't have an integrated graphics card. But I do have a GTX 1650. When I was rendering my video through Adobe Media Encoder, it basically just runs on my CPU rather than my GPU Do you guys know how to move rendering from CPU to GPU?
Is there a way that Adobe could link previous exports to new ones? When rendering out long sequences, if an update needs to be made to a small section of your video, and you have to re-export, being able to select just the in and out points of where you made the update and exporting out only that section to the previous file would save so much rendering time. I know for workaround I can import my export and put it on top of original edit and fudge things, but there would be very slight quality loss. Being able to link exports and merge certain time codes would be a game changer.
I am getting Out of Memory errors creating proxies. I'm using a Dell Alienware M15 with 32GB memory, Windows 10, two x SSD, and I have Windows automatically manage the virtual memory. AME is version: 15.4.1 (Build 5).In AME I have allocated 26GB to Media Encoder and 6 to everything else. I am rendering h.265 10-bit 4K clips to h.265 720p proxies. After a few clips it starts to error with Memory issues. BTW. The reason I am creating h.265 proxies is that h.264 doesn't support high frame rate video. At least AME doesn't support it. Any ideas for what I can try? I have received a few updates to fix Media Encoder problems. All those update claims to fixed minor problems. Great! Now that those minor problems are fixed Adobe Team will have time to fix major problems like the randomness of their application. For my part I have to downgrade from the new version to be able to export film from animate or After Effects.
Latest AMD driver 21.6.1 - latest AME 15.2 and it just BSOD my computer everytime I try to render in H.264 - any solution on the horizon? Tried to include the .dmp but this forum apparently do not allow that
I am not sure what is the problem but I can not get AME to keep the embedded Closed Captions when all that needs to happen is encode from MP4 to MXF? I have used the typical presets DNxHD MXF OP1a or other exports that AME 15.4.1 is suppose to export with embedded captions. But every file the Closed Captions are stripped out? What is the best solution?
I literally have had this trouble just today. It was working perfectly fine yesterday. I tried redownloading it and everything but it still wont render. This is frustrating me since im paying for this app and its not even going to work properly. I have the adobe media endcoder 2020 version, along with the same for after effects so that it's compatible. I HAVE to render my edits through adobe media encoder from after effects or my edit won't have good quality. Now adobe media encoder isn't working and says the error "cannot read from source" very annoying . Someone please help me to fix this error
In Media Encoder I can't seem to get DPX sequences to import. Where it would normally show the DPX Sequence checkbox it just shows "Sequence Not Available" and it's greyed out. As a test I changed the extension to .PNG (not actually converting them) and the PNG Sequence option was available. This obviously won't actually work, but proves that it's specific to DPX (also tried the CIN extension). The docs indicate it will work (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/media-encoder/using/file-formats-supported-import.html), it says "You can import files of any still-image format as a sequence. For more information, see Import items into the encoding queue." I'm testing this on version 15.4.1, but it seems to happen in Media encoder 2020 as well. Any ideas?
This question comes to me once in a while :How to add ogg/ogv vorbis theora to Adobe Media EncoderAdobe Media Encoder makes it easy to encode anything (standalone video files, PremierePro, After Effects, Photoshop exports). It allows multiple file outputs, and its interface make it so easy to understand you wonder why everything is not done the same way.The huge part about that is that i can build a preset and let AME work in the background on any videofile i need, even queuing dozens of movies.But.Once in a while, i have to do web formats, html5 videos which are asked as mp4, sometimes webm (less now), and ogg. Would love to start a queue folder, or just a small preset and let AME do both. Except i can't export .ogg/.ogv files from AME.When I search for answers, the very few answers are :- go and ask for it on the feature request page (which i did today, twice, since i couldn't find a dedicated thread on AME there)- use any free external converter- we can't because licensing forbids y
Media Encoder is crashing...it happens about five minutes into the render. It's a new thing and I simply cannot figure out why it is happening. I have changed none of my editing habits or software. Everything (apps, drivers, etc.) have been updated. Here are snapshots of my system and app settings. Please help!
software encoding works fine, but hardware encoding gives out low quality video although settings are high bitrate. I'm using M1 MBA.
Good morning, I am using Encoder for the first time and managed to export a Premiere fiel to DVD Pal. Encored splits the file into two parts: video (m2v) and audio (wav). How do I go about burning the DVD with or without Encore? Thank you
I am having a problem when i try to export from ae to media encoder, after effect stop and i've got this message writen : I've try to reinstall media encoder and after effect but this is not working. Is anyone have a solution? Thank you, Laura

Consistently get errors when trying to encode anything from Premiere, AE or just drag and drop. Just wanted a simple alpha layer so thought I'd use ProRes with Alpha. Freezes about half way through consistently. Switching to Cineform goes no problem. Not expecting anything to fix it as I believe this has been around in previous systems (for me anyway) and think it has something to do with the way Adobe and Apple codecs work together as I get errors occasionaly when trying to use older AE templates that include .mov files. They don't show. Something isn't right and I'm just very lucky Cineform is included or I'd be screwed again at the end of a long edit trying to deliver. Please don't post (check your drivers or hardware nonsense, Adobe is the only program suite I have issues with and they usually exist across different systems)Updated fully both windows, nvidia and Adobe (5959x, 3080ti, 64GB RAM, M.2 gen 4s storage)
hi i use macbook pro 2017 with 16gb ram and 4 graphics card but when i try to open adobe media encoder it's show "adobe media encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue"
Hey I don't know if theres any recent developments with MacOS but I can't get any playback with h264 exports in VLC or Quicktime or any other app. I have a standard late 2019 iMac so it shouldn't be a hardware issue. I don't know if I need to install a codec or what? File seems to work if I upload to YouTube or Vimeo but it won't playback locally from the file. 264

Does anyone know how to get past this error? I have tried everything adobe suggests but no luck.
I have been trying to export a ~3:00 long After Effects project for weeks now. I've tried software encoding, hardware encoding, different computers, different distination files, all with no luck. The strange thing is I exported it successfully the first time and then went back and tweaked minor things (fonts, colors, etc) and ever since then, it can't get beyond ~:30. I've attached a screenshot of the error I've been getting recently. Does anyone have any suggestions?
