I keep getting this error message (amecommand Initilization error 1), when I try to render a video in Photoshop & Photoshop Beta, both the newest versions.I uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop, Bridge & Media Encoder, but still doing the same thing. I restarted laptop (macbook pro), restarted the apps, uninistalled the apps then did a laptop restart before reinstalling, and still.. no luck. I tried to open Bridge to render through there, but Bridge keeps force quitting before it even fully loads the app, so that's of no use. Older versions of Photoshop and Bridge did not work either and produced the same out come (photoshop still gives error message when renderinig video and Bridge force quits when app is is loading up)An Adobe employee responded with this since I originally posted in the Photoshop forum: "When you work in Photoshop, it is just sending the file over the Media Encoder. The error you are seeing is telling us that Media Encoder is no respon
Hi there, Here's what I'm doing: I have a 4k video of someone talking to camera, so to add variation, I zoom in and out to different fixed positions. (I.e. scale to 100%, to 120% and 140%). To make things easier for me, I set up different adjustment layers with a transform effect on them (on source) and scale to taste so I can then drop them on the timeline whenever I need to. I name them accordingly, "camera 1", "camera 2", etc... When I render via Premiere, things look all right: But when I render using Media Encoder, the issue appears: Media Encoder seems to be scaling from the upper corner of the videos instead of from the center of the videos... So I don't know if it's a bug nor what might be causing the issue. Do any of you have an idea why this might be happening? I'm using Windows 10, the version of Me is 25.1 (Build 65) and Pr is 25.1.0 (Build 73) Best,Mauro.
I do not often use Me and I had no idea this software is so ridiculously slow. Now that I'm looking at the elapsed and estimated times this gives me the impression that Media Encoder does not ustilize CUDA or uses the e-cores of my Intel CPU alone. This is my 48 minutes long project and after I started rendering the video, shows there's 10 (TEN!) hours left to finish. What is wrong with this software? The CUDA is activated, I tried making Me window active - the estimated time does not change at all. My CPU is 50% loaded, my graphics card is barely loaded though I'm rendering out into HEVC-h265.In comparison Premiere Pro rendered the same project out in ONE HOUR yesterday, though it's window was not active - I was watching Youtube during the whole rendering process. I think there's a bug in it... Adobe, please see to it.Win10 updated, RTX 4080 with 551.61 and an NVIDIA fix driver, i7 13700 KF, 64 Gb, SSD.Premiere Pro 24.2.1, Media Encoder 24.2.1
Hi. I am using AE 2025 and ME 2025 on Windows 10. I was noticing some drops in image quality when rendering in After Effects so I decided to attempt using Media Encoder instead. At first my video seemed pristine once it finished rendering, but upon taking a closer listen, I notice that around the midpoint there is some clicking and popping at certain instances, like you might hear from a dirty or worn vinyl record, or from audio that seeps too much "into the red," aka clipping. As the video goes on this seems to be more frequent of an issue. (Note, these sounds are perhaps not easily noticeable to the average listener, but at louder volumes or perhaps on a second listen it is probably noticeable. Given that the audio for this project is music, this is rather unoptimal. More or less rubbish even still.) This is very upsetting, after waiting a fair amount of time for the video to finally render, after having to restart to fix some issues on my end. However, I am fully confident

Every time I'm sending a .aep to a render queue, and then hit play button in AME, I have an issue - 'File doesn't match the source'. Though it cannot apply to the real situation, as all my files is located in one folder and the path in AME definitely matches the real source file path.I use Adobe Media Encoder Version 23.2.1. Build 2.After Effects 23.1.0, Build 83.MacOS BigSur.Please, consider the issue.
I discovered that my conflict between Premiere Pro and Media Encoder was due to versions. When I updated Premiere Pro to 25, it exported to Media Encoder 25 with no problems. Hmm. Sometimes the simple answers are the right ones. Go figure.
Use the template below to provide us with information: Issue - Media Encoder no longer encodes audio in the preset for Youtube 4K videos. Audio is checked in the project, but no sound comes out.Adobe Media Encoder version number - 24.5Operating system - Windows 11Steps to reproduce - A media project that plays fine in the latest version of Premiere along with audio does not encode audio with the video in the final render. Expected result - Audio should be rendered with videoActual result - Video renders but no audio on output. No warnings shown during render. FIX: Revert to Media Encoder v 24.4.1 Build 2 and same project encodes both audio and video fine. Optional but useful: upload media and/or project files, screenshots or screen recordings that demonstrate the issue. - No relevant screen shots as this fails silently (no pun intended), and project files are too big to share. Also to note - this is the second bug I have 'obtaine
Issue - A sequence that plays properly in Adobe Premiere Pro does not render properly in Media Encoder. It will not render audio when rendering video to H264 using any of the rendering methods or audio settings. It will, however, render the audio if the sequence is rendered to audio only, for example to MP3 or AAC audio. Adobe Media Encoder version number - 25.0, however this has also been the case with previous Adobe Media Encoder versions since about last May. I had a separate bug report for previous versions but it was never repaired. I continued to use the older version. With the 25.0 upgrade to Premiere, and the lack of backwards support to previous Premiere versions of Premiere files, and this still being a problem, I was forced to figure out what the issue was with many trial and error attempts or completely re-edit my video. Adobe Media Encoder ( Version 25.0 Build 54) appears to be writing exclusively to RAM rather than to any of my drives. With 128 GB of RAM, I encounter crashes during the export of large projects as Media Encoder fills the RAM to capacity. Monitoring drive activity reveals high levels of read activity but no corresponding write activity. Towards the end of some of the exports that are being rendered , I noticed very high write speeds from Media Ecoder on any of the SSDs I try to write to but the ram values don't go down and the containers are never closed. My SSDs are more than capable at writing at speeds much faster than the program can render at. Why can’t Adobe's software just work? I'm trying to export a bunch of sequences in premiere through Media Encoder. The videos are the result of digitalizing UMATIC & BETA tapes so they have some frames that are potentially corrupted. When exporting, the queue shows a lot of videos marked as 'Error'. The message I get is something like:- Archivo de origen: /var/folders/f7/49nn33vn3y5gbn0l9jwgrtkw0000gn/T/11-14 copia_1_88.prproj- Archivo de salida: /Volumes/E 2TB 002/Exports/Bons/FU–66152.mp4- Ajuste preestablecido utilizado:- Vídeo: 768x576 (1,0), 18 fps, Progresivo, 100 (63% HLG, 51% PQ), Codificación de hardware, 00:00:49:03- Audio: AAC, 320 Kbps, 48 kHz, Estéreo- Velocidad de bits: VBR, pase 1, Destino 2.12 Mbps- Tiempo de codificación: 00:00:1512/03/2024 12:04:53 AM : Error de codificación------------------------------------------------------------Se ha producido un error al recuperar el fotograma 148 (00:00:07:08) del archivo /Volumes/E 2TB 002/11-14/FU–66152.mp4. Media encoder is importing .jpg image sequences as a single frame even when "import image sequence" is toggled on in the import dialog box. This works fine with in Media Encoder Beta, but the official build is broken. In the official build, the only workaround is to manually select all the files in the folder (rather than just the first file of the sequence which normally works). This is tedious as the "cmd-a" command doesn't work in the dialog box to allow selecting all files... The problem exists with .jpg sequences... .png appear to work. I didn't try other formats.
I need to export all the clips in a sequence seaparatley. I can't use project manager because it doesn't apply certain effects to the clips. I've opted to create a bin with all the clips from my sequence. From there i export them to the media encoder. The problem is by default media encoder sets the suorce range to "Entire Clip" and I have to manually change each export to "Clip In/Out". It won't let me bulk change this export setting and it's not possible through a preset. This has been posted about many times, is there any workaround, if not can Adobe please provide a better way to export all the clips on your timeline individually. Media Encoder Version 25.0
The latest versions of PPro and AME just constantly show as needing to be updated. Then it takes a full audio plugin scan when opening and then Creative Cloud shows that they need to be updated, again and again and again and again and again and again ...

ich habe ein Problem beim Exportieren meines Projekts aus Adobe Premiere Pro mit dem Adobe Media Encoder, welches aufeinmal auftrat. Hi community, Since a few days i cannot export via the Media Encoder. To be precise, I can but the files are said to be offline, while in premiere it's all clean and I can even export from there without any problems. it happened to me in the first place directly after the 2025 update, however I unticked the "import natively" button and it worked. Now the box is unticked and the problem is back. Any suggestion? Working on Macbook pro. Thank you,

Hello, The tech specs: App version: 24.6.1Platform and OS: Windows 11 Home - 23H2 I am hoping you all can possibly help me/guide me on the path to fixing this! At my work we use AME connected to a NAS to encode our master videos to various different file/video sizes. Recently however there has been an issue where if a .MOV file is placed in a watch folder AME will encode the file okay, however it will leave the file in the watch folder and will not move it to the source folder. When you go to delete the file, it states that AME is using the file and it cannot be deleted. If you close ME and then reopen it will encode the file again and repeat the above issue. The only way to clear these files from the watch folder is to close ME and then delete it off of the PC that we use to encode. I found that if you encode the .mov file to the likes of AS-11, it would then encode and be moved to a source folder with no issue. However if there is a way to hel
When exporting a list of MP3 files from ME, it sometimes glitches out random Audios. Which ones' are totally random and have nothing in common that would make a difference. At a random time of the file, it plays again from the beginning. This happens in the same file without skipping to the actual beginning.Example: File is 4:06. At 3:08, it just plays from the start again and stops when the file hits 4:06. The actual file reached 3:08 once and played the first 1:02 again. The source file plays just fine. My process is importing all the files into the queue\trimming the end of some files\setting final file location\applying preset export settings, which include normalization and limiter in the editing category.
Please for thelove of God, someone tell me how to fix this. It makes me itch down to the bone and i can not stand it . This has only started happening after the update
Dear Adobe Support,I am encountering an issue with Adobe Media Encoder when uploading videos to YouTube. Specifically, the titles of my video files in Russian are being truncated to 54-55 characters, whereas titles in Romanian\English are not being shortened and can exceed this limit significantly. This discrepancy is causing problems with the accurate representation of my content on YouTube. Here are the details of my setup and the issue:Software: Adobe Media Encoder 25.0 (54)Platform: YouTubeIssue: Russian file names are truncated to 53 characters upon upload, whereas Romanian file names are not truncated and can contain many more characters.Could you please investigate this issue and provide a solution or workaround? Your assistance in resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated, as it is crucial for the proper titling of my videos.Thank you for your support.Best regards,[Your Name]
