I just updated Media Encoder to v22.5 from v22.x(sorry, I forgot), and now, after importing the footage I will create proxies for them (Prores Low/Medium Proxy). Proxy creation took too long and Media Encoder after creating a file in the Queue tab, will "not responding" for about 10-20 seconds to create another proxy file. Because I have a lot of footage, this takes me a lot of time compared to creating proxies in previous projects in previous versions. 😫So I tried downgrading Media Encoder and Premiere Pro to v22.2 and boom, it created proxies like a breeze. 😆I've been reading discussions about v22.5 and have seen quite a few other silly bugs, so I hope Adobe takes care of its products. Thanks. 😎
ADOBE, WTF?!?!? AME will not launch and I NEED it to work so I can render multiple files at once. My IT department has tried everything to help with NO success. AME 22.6Just launch the app and it will tell you it encountered an error and can't proceed. Hello, I recently shot a short on the Sony FX6. I shot 4k DCI with s-log 3 and the s.gamut3.cine color and ei profiles. When I convert the mxf files to prores 422 for the editing process the saturation and contrast blow up. I have read that the 2022 versions of Me and Pr have this issue of reating s-log as an HDR file, is there a fix to this in Me?
Es imposible exportar una composicion de After effects a AME , he desinstalado e instalado tanto after como ame varias veces, he probado versiones anteriores, 2 o 3 videos que he visto por internet pero nada... veo que hay mas gente con el problema a raiz de la actualizacion de 2022. si intento importar desde AME un proyecto de After me dice que no puede conectar con el proyecto
Using Win 11 Laptop with 1. Intel Iris Xe Graphics and 2. Nvidia 3080Ti. (16GB Memory) Preset of ME for Video Rendering is "Mercury Playback Engine - GPU Accelleration". During Rendering Video Decoding is done by one GPU, Video Endoding is done by the other GPU. But which will be taken varies from Job to Job. But - even not all times - you can pretty make shue that the more heavy task (example decoding 8k) is handed to the slow Iris Xe Graphics, while encoding to Full HD is given to 3080Ti. So same job takes 50 min if 3080 is doing the heavier job, takes more than 5 h if Iris Xe is taking the heavier job. How to help ME making a better GPU choice? Or how to get Iris Xe out of order? (Deactivating Iris Xe in OS causes touble while starting Windows on 3080Ti, so that´s no go)
I'm on the latest versions of Premiere (22.5.0) and Media Encoder (22.5).Sending a simple mp4 to be encoded in AME takes way too long to queue, sometimes it can be 10-15 minutes for the file to show up. Even sending an mp3 to be encoded takes time to load. Not sure what is going on this version but it seems extemely buggy, not to mentiontion the bad redesign. Also, why has the software stopped supporting using the rendered preview files when encoding in AME? In Premiere Export when you hover over the "Use Previews" option, it says it will opnly use the previews when you export directly from Premiere. Why has this changed??
Media Encoder all of a sudden will not launch and gives me this error message. I have attempted to reinstall the program through Creative Cloud at least 3 times with no success. I have sent a report with a request for workarounds or suggestions to solve the issue with no success. I have included screen shots of the error window + my Mac OS capabilities to give the problem some context. Can someone help to remedy my issue? My workflow is completely disrupted all of a sudden now that Media Encoder will not launch.
Hi, - Latest Version of Premiere & Media Encoder I typically have to do a bunch of batch exports throughtout the day. The latest update, makes the export from Premiere almost not even usable in my opnion (specific to interface/layout). I'v been working with edit software almost everyday for about 15 years. The direct export is so confusing to me and also requires more steps and scrolls than it used too. Also, I feel like the details that help me optimtize setting for needed use are feeling harder to find and take more time to adjust. For example I kinda really need just a bank of setting to rifle through, but not setting are being presented and packaged like it's instagram or something. But, I do use export to media encoder most often and find that it queue's really slowly (sometimes doesn't even send), even for edits that are 15 seconds. I went back to an older verion and it was so slick and quick the queue was close to instant. I st
Hi there!I'm having a rendering problem. I can't say exactly when it went wrong, but I can say what went wrong. I have this problem both with AE & ME version 2021 and 2022. This is the error code I got after crashing: 1609629695When I export an AE composition from media encoder, the whole working memory fills up until media encoder stops and the render crashes. At first I thought it had to do with low GB in my RAM. That was not the case after I added new RAM and doubled it. It also had nothing to do with the write speed of my hard disk. After pausing the render a number of times (so that the RAM has time to put the file on the hard disk) the problem persisted.I notice that when I just use media encoder and render, my PC starts up a background process called After effects. While I only have Encoder open.At the moment I have found a piece of string solution by ending the AE background process about every minute. Strangely enough, this doesn’t create errors within the final render..I a
Media Encoder 14.9 is now available for download from the Creative Cloud desktop app. This update includes several bug fixes and performance improvements. It is recommended for all users. How do I update Media Encoder? Open the Creative Cloud desktop application and click the Updates tab on the top-left. Find Media Encoder in the list and click Update. In case you don't see the update in the Creative Cloud desktop app, click Help > Check for Updates from the Creative Cloud desktop app to refresh it.
This is a new probelm that I am having and its frusteraiting becuase it takes a full night to create all my footage into proxies. What keeps is, this window pops up and it stays on this window untill I manually hit cancle. It frusterating and annoying and i have deadlines i have ot meet! This is a new problem!
I need to know if there's any way to do this, within the entire Adobe suite rather than just Media Encoder but I thought to start here.My situation is I think really quite simple. I have a series of animation loops. a LONG series, over 1000 iterations with just one element changing each time (all based on scripting and timing in various AE comps). I now need to provide 1000 output files for delivery, each loop as a standalone vid. There's some free online converters that claim to do this but my total series runs at an hour and a half, and in ProRes Mov is 45GB, so the free online systems are a non-starter. unless I split the video many times.
It'd be very useful, while an encode is processing, to see what frame number the encoder is currently on, so I can see if the encode is actually progressing or not. Sometimes it's hard to judge just from the Output Preview, especially if there's not a lot of movement in the video.
I've been trying to figure this out for 15 hours. All of my h.264 4K sequences get all the way to 100% then stop. I've tested this with 8 different sequences. All are 60+ minutes. Doesn't seem to happen to shorter 5-10 minute videos. Tried exporting through Premiere Pro and it worked great until 5 videos in, then it started doing it there as well. I'm so unbelievably frustrated. I have over $1200 on the line for this project and I'm 2 days late because of this issue. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NAO FUNCIONA. TA UM LIXO, PAGO PRA FUNCIONAR, TO PERDENDO TEMPO E DINHEIRO, RESOLVAM ISSO!!!
Hi.. i have a fresh install on a new machine. Rendering H.264 1080 Mobile preset of an after effects video with simple text/image floating in-out as an overlay to an underlying video. 11th gen i5 + RTX 3050 8gb + 16gb ram + 500gb NVMEWin 10 with latest hardware drivers downloaded from official site.. Both AE & ME installed from creative cloud, so should be latest. Both CPU & GPU utilised under 5%HDD utilization 0-1% Request you to guide on how to go about it. I've been using Adobe products, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro, for 5-6 years now. I've never, ever, seen Adobe products render this slow. My computer hasn't changed- I even have a second high end computer I work on. I've troublshooted this issue on both. But After Effects and Premier Pro seem to export at an alarmingly slow rate. To export a 7 minute video- yes there are many graphics moving, but I have been using the same file for the past year and a half and haven't had this issue- it takes 8 hours. Here are my settings: | H.264 | software encoding | Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (OpenCL) |I need to do it through Media Encoder so I can export mp4. If I do it through after effects, the file will be 75gb. And with how many times I reuse this file, I can't store videos that big. I have the same issue with batch render. Sometimes, 6/7 times, media encoder just stops rendering and never exports after a few clips, or just doesn't go past 0%. Anyways, does
Im having a issue every time I try to open this app it states that I have encounter an issue. Please help
I'm attempting to render a file from AE in AME, but every time I click to update "export settings", AME sits on "Connecting to Dynamic Link server" before giving me an error message. How do I get AME to connect to the Dynamic Link server? I'm using a MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.5 and AE and AME 2022.
I honestly don't understand how a system that performs this badly continues to stay in the products. This new color management system is absolute dog s**t. Who could ever look at the results of that and say, "yeah, that's probably what our customers want to see." I am just absolutely blown away. It is no wonder that people are flying away from Adobe in droves. Influencers are flying away from Adobe in droves. Who is pushing and maintaining these terrible ideas? Please, for the love of god, give me the option to turn off this absolute garbage color management system. It is not an option like in Premiere.
When will we be entitled to the AV1 codec and have HLG, bt.2020 for Apple Prores MXF?
Hi All,since the upgrade to the latest media encoder 22, some reencodes from PAL ProRes422HQ to PAL ProRes422HQ take forever, like 30 minutes for a 1 minute clip. I have an older version of 21 on another machine, and it is encoding the identical file from the identical location in a few seconds. This is quite annoying. Any Clues/fixes? Hi, looking at task manager, my adobe media encder barely utilizes any of the utilities it has available. It takes over 15 minutes to render a 25 second video (with effects) 1500 x 800 H264 file @ 15 fps and 2mbps target bitrate. My after effects utilizes a fair amount of RAM/GPU when used. Even with AAE closed or opened, it takes roughly this amount of time. I have a RTX 3080TI and I've selected CUDA as the renderer and alloted 29 GB RAM to the program. Any ideas on how I can increase the performence?
title says it all. would be nice to be able to add some color coding/user level tagging for files to be rendered in the queue. that's all! thank you.k
