I've started working a lot with videos recorded during zoom meetings and also recorded using screen-capture software.Premiere and Encoder seem to have a difficult time exporting these files. It will begin the encoding process, then at some point it will just either freeze-up or just fail. Encoder does seem a bit buggy since last couple of updates as I've had some other issues. But with these zoom/Screen capture videos, the issue is almost 100%. I recently encoded about 24 hours of AVI videos to mp4 with no issues, and some of those files were 12 hours long. I'm trying not to just use Software Only encoding to see if that helps.
Hi forum,I'm using AME CS6 and would like to convert a MOV file to MP4. My format options are F4V, FLV, H.264, H.264 (legacy), and MP3. I tried to export using H.264 and ended up with a 3GP file. Is it possible to export a MP4 file using one of my 5 format options? Or are there additional steps that I'll need to take? If so, what are they? Thanks for your help!
Adobe Media encoder 15.1 version render fault
After a long research, I couldn't fix this bug so I can't work. Long videos seem don't encoded with Media Encoder after hours of process, with short video it does.Disinstalled the latest version and installed an older v. (14.9), but I suggest you trying to fix this bug who avoids people from working. Other users are in the same situation.
Everything looks good in the sequence, but when I export some shots are upside down for some reason. There are no FX on the shots. No idea what to do.
Hi everybody,When I decide to export my work in media encoder, from After effects, it doesn't work.I tried to drag the file in but same problem and same message : impossible to open the project.I have the last version of After effects and Media Encoder : 18.0 and 15.0And I work on a MacBook Pro M1 13"Thanks for your help.
Hi! Ever since I updated to media encoder 15.0 it simply does not work. It crashes every time before I even can start rendering. I've tried reinstalling both AE and ME as well as testing out older versions of ME but then I AE does not find it and gives me error message that I don't have any media encoder installed even though I do. I have a new and powerful computer and made sure everything is up to date. ME was working just fine before the update. Please fix this Adobe, or I shall have to look for another software.
Simple question but which is very important. Is it possible to close After Effect while the rendering of a project has been exported to Media Encoder and is still in progress?I would like to be able to close After effect to work in PhotoShop (After effect eats all my rams) without losing the current rendering (which takes several hours).
I've been asked to render a video at 20 Mbps. When I render the video with AME CC2019 and specify a constant bitrate of 20 Mbps the output actually averages 6.2 Mbps according to MediaInfo. When I specify a constant birate of 30 Mbps the output is actually 8.8 Mbps according to MediaInfo. I can understand why using a VBR target birate of 20 Mbps could give less than the specified amount (and it does) due to the video having simple to encode sections, but surely specifying CBR should render a video as close to the specified bitrate as possible, no matter how easy or difficult the content is to compress. When I encode CBR I use profile main, level 4.1, H264, video res 1080x1920 (portrait format), 29.97 fps. How can I make it render the video as h264 at approx 20 Mbps avg?Would I need to render it in some other format and then use handbrake or something to make the video for delivery 20 Mbps avg?
Hi,I've just updated all my adobe softwares to the latest versions of each, and I recently updated MacOS to the latest version too. So I'm all up to date with everything. I'm on a MacbookPro 2016 that actually handles the distance pretty well, until now apparently (but I wouldn't blame the hardware here, as I had no such problems last week)Since then, Media Encoder has been behaving in a very disturbing manner : Takes a very long while to load simple and light projects (a few minutes). But what's even more annoying, is that even after the render is finished, the Macbook's memory keep filing up whithout stopping, even though AE and Media encoder are idle. And at some point, the Mac App window appears asking me to forcequit an app because the computer's memory is completely full. Is there an explanation for this ?please fix this quick because it's not only anoying, I also LOOSE A LOT OF TIME trying to have very simple videos out.Happy yo give more details if needed. Thanks,Alexis
Am I missing something? How do I see how long AME spent rendering a file? Do I really need to scroll through the records of every single thing I've ever rendered to see this one stat? In AE, that number is right there in front of me in the Render Queue. Is there a way to see this info in the Render Queue in AME? I'd like to know how long it took to render an AE comp so I can decide if I need to make changes to speed up the next render. Seems like a simple request.
Hi all, I'm hoping that someone would be able to help me. Whenever I add a composition from AE to ME, the composition appears in ME but ME can't connect to the dynamic link server. It works once in a while (today I've tried 13 times and 1 composition is encoding). I've never had this issue in the last 2 years of working with AE and ME, it's just been in the last 2 weeks that this process has become very time-consuming and frustrating! I've tried everything that has been in the forums about this issue but they haven't helped unfortunately. I am working on AE 2021 version 18.0.0 and ME 2021 version 15.0.My Mac specs are:macOs Catalina version 10.15.7iMac (late 2012)Processor 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5Memory 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3Startup disk Macintosh HD - DataGraphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX 1 GB Any help you be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi I want to speed up my editing and rendering, 4k - 6k foteage, i need to know where is the probleme, wich parts of my PC i need to change or in the system, because no body is giving me the right answer. I had problems with playback, but with proxies now it's working just fine, but i have now serious problems with Media Encoder rendering, it stops in the middle and it Freez + it is slow, so i have to do it again from the beginning.I work from a SSD (Sandisk) External Hard drive, but no big diffrence when it comes to rendering issue with media encoder This is the details information of my PC Processor: IntelR Core TM i7-9700F CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHzRam: 32.0 GBSystem Type: 64-bitNIVIDA GeForce GTX 1650
When I go to render a video from After Effects in Media Encoder, it pops up with an error message saying "After Effects: AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLinkServer: Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Please download and install it to use this feature." I do have Media Encoder downloaded and installed and I have had no issues in the past year like this, but it just randomly started happening. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Media Encoder.
Hi there I want my money back, AME not rendering my video, just in h.264. I want my money back, seriously, and plan to use daVinci for editing instead of my experience in Adobe workspace. This is over my patience!!! First, I need to be free QA tester of Photoshop and now for Preimere and AME. I want my money back!!! I am very unsatisfied to use Adobe products for last years more and more times.
I still have work to do in premiere so I need to restart. Is it possible to restart you computer and have your queue be maintained? I remember in the past I pressed "save queue", restarted, but that caused all of the exports to fail.
Media Encoder renders video footage as a solid green screen from After Effects. Animated graphics render correctly, but not the video. It renders fine from Premiere Pro, but not from After Effects. Please help, and thanks!
Im running a 2015 iMac 5k retina with 32gb Ram. All software up to date. When exporting from Adobe Premiere Pro via Media encoder the Colours are over saturated with too much contrast. See top image. When exporting directly from APP using the Export button (as opposed to Queue) the render is correct and as is in the timeline. See bottom image. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Hey, I've been trying to create proxies for 2 camera file: Eos R & GH5. I start the process and everything runs smooth but all of the sudden the program just stops creating the proxies. It doesn't crash, it even gives me the option to pause like it is still encoding, I can go through other folders, I can do everything in it. But it won't continue creating the proxies. I've seen other people with the same problem last year but no solution. Could anybody help me out? I'm using a powerful ish windows computer that never gave me any problems in the past and I'm using the laterest version of both softweres!
I went to install the latest version of ME (15.0) after sitting on 14.4 because later versions are 5x slower to render proxies. 3 hours of 1080p 60fps footage would take about 30 minutes on ME version 14.4, but anything after that and it takes around 2-3 hours. Not to mention that CPU and GPU usage are much lower on anything past 14.4. I can't even reinstall 14.4 anymore because CC removed it without asking me, even though it asked me if I wanted to keep older versions of PR and AE before I updated those (I always keep older versions just in case there are issues). It's frustrating because I work with a lot of livestream vod footage, so being able to create proxies really helps with timeline performance. Specs for the curious:i9-9900kGTX 1080 FE 8GB64GB of DDR4 32001TB SSD for OS/Software500GB SSD for footage(Latest NVIDIA drivers installed (465.89))
Bien cordialament.
In Adobe Media Encoder i've encountered a bug where the meta data duration is missing on exporting longform durations over an hour. This needs to be looked into and resolved this AQC systems will fail for this on TX delivery. The MXF XDCAMHD422 format is predominently used in the TV delivery and Longform industry so this meta data consistency bug is a signficiant concern that needs to be addressed.
After reading and trying about a dozen fixes from as many people/posts, non of the "fixes" seem to fix my issues. I am currently on Adobe ME 14.9, although I have installed 15.0 and back to 14.9 many times to see if versions were a reason. After sending a Comp from AE to ME the Dynamic Link Server just "loads" for up to 5 minutes and then errors out. I have tried to import directly in ME from the AE source files. I have tried to cross import into Prermier Pro as someone suggested to sort of prime the Dynamic Link Server. I have attempted to do it without internet connections. I have installed and re-installed in varying combinations PP and AE with ME versions. Granted, now that Adobe has limited the number of supported versions, the old posts the community about going back to older versions that actually work....are no longer valid. Any help would be appreciated. This is a HUGE work hinderance. Also all three of the apps mentioned above seem to never close properly now on the lat
