Adobe Media Encoder (Beta)

Bonjour, J’ai vu des sections en espagnol sans être certain qu’elles évoquaient le même souci. Le lien entre Première et Media encoder ne se fait pas. Première reste bloqué sur la fenêtre ci-dessous quand il est demandé un export.
Not sure if this is intentional or there is a way to change default folder for when render tasks are added to media encoder beta to be the folder where the premiere work file is located. Currently no matter the project file it keeps defaulting to the same irrelevant folder.
There is a marked export speed issue with the latest builds of Media Encoder Beta (Versions will be noted at the end) when exporting with Premier Pro Beta, direct Clip is an Iphone 30 FPS REC709, with Lum color applied, no other effects.Clip is 5min, 43 secondsPremier Direct Export is 6 minMedia Encoder is over 21 minSystem is using a RTX3090FE Export Settings: Versions: This performance degradation has only been present since after the fix when every export to media encoder was failing, it was working within expecations prior to this, approx a week ago, I cant recall the exact last properly workign version.
Critical NVENC Hardware Encoding Failure on HEVC (H.265) in Premiere / Media Encoder (v25.2 – v25.5 & Driver v616.92)Test Environment & System Specifications: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti RAM: 64GB DDR5 (6000MHz) OS: Windows 10 Pro (Version 22H2 / Build 19045.7725) Issue Summary: The HEVC (H.265) export performance in Media Encoder has degraded severely. Through systematic version testing, I identified that Media Encoder 2025 releases (v25.2, v25.3, v25.4, v25.4.1, and v25.5) completely dropped NVENC Hardware Encoding support for the HEVC (H.265) codec, while legacy 2023 (v23.6.9) and early 2025 builds (v25.0, v25.1) retained functionality under older drivers.Furthermore, updating to NVIDIA Driver v616.92 breaks NVENC hardware acceleration across all versions, leaving users completely without GPU-accelerated HEVC exports. This critical feature regression has remained unaddressed and broken for nearly a full year.Key Observations & Video Evi
the pro res file even when put back into media encoder and re exported as a h.265/h.264 file will seperate the file into aac and mp4. this is incredibly frustrating when I need the files to be packaged together for my final product
Exporting to HEVC (H.265) / MP4 in the beta produces a file with no audio stream at all. The Audio tab is set to AAC 320 kbps / 48 kHz / Stereo, the job reports "File Successfully Encoded", and the encoding log even records the audio settings — but there is no audio track in the output. No error, no warning. You only find out when you play the file. The same source and settings work in Media Encoder 2026 (26.3.2.2), and H.264 works in the beta. It appears specific to the HEVC exporter.Steps to reproduce: 1. Add a ProRes 422 XQ .mov with a PCM 16-bit 48 kHz stereo audio track to the queue. (Mine: 1080x1920, 24 fps.) 2. Set the output format to HEVC (H.265), MP4 container. 3. Set Video to Main 10, Rec. 2100 HLG 203 nits, VBR 1-pass, target 25 Mbps, Software Encoding. 4. In the Audio tab, confirm Audio Codec = AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo. 5. Encode, then inspect the output with MediaInfo or ffprobe (or just play it).Result: The MP4 contains only the HEVC video stream. There is no audio s

Kicking the tires in v.27, I noticed that when I send a job to render in AME using a preset, AME preserves the settings OK, but it calls it “custom.” If I search the presets available in AME, the preset is available in AME.It’s not a critical issue, but one that could create confusion.Thanks.
I’ve encoded a few videos from Premier over the past week and EVERYTIME it stops around 35-45 seconds and does NOTHING for about 2 hours……. WHATS WRONG WITH THIS????
Hi,I’m currently testing the Media Encoder Beta and noticed an issue with GPU acceleration. In the Beta version, the Renderer option is greyed out and locked to “Software Only”, so I can’t enable GPU acceleration. In contrast, in the non-beta (stable) version, GPU acceleration works perfectly and is enabled as expected.System details: GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti I’ve already checked that my GPU drivers are up to date and that no other settings differ between the beta and non-beta installations. Thanks in advance for any insights.
no me muestra el recuadro de la cola y cuando le doy a renderizar desde premiere a media encoder no lo pone en cola no funciona, mas sin envargo cuando hago proxis abajo si lo codifica
With the render queue cleared from the previous session, I added a render job from Premier which was ready to start.I then noticed this bit of info by the start button, “4 of 5 items processed.”As I hovered over the text, a tooltip showed how many are in process, had completed, had failed, and how many had been stopped. It shows 4 items that had been stopped or failed, but the queue was empty except for the one being processed.I would expect this to give stats for the jobs visible in the queue, not old stuff that’s no longer visible. You might look into this. Just noticed in this beta, that AME is rendering last-in-first-out, i.e. from the bottom of the list up. It’s always gone first-in-first-out, rendering from the top of the render queue list. Was that intentional? Rendering is OK, it’s just an observation. This is totally weird.Last week I rendered a project from Premier which completed successfully. Today I needed to render a bunch of AVI files to MP4. So…I brought 25 AVI files into AME, and that’s all I had in the queue.I tweaked each one to trim the end time I then started the render queue.Result: The Premier project from last week started rendering!!! It’s not visible in the queue at all. When I stop the render queue, it does not show up as an aborted render. Restarting the queue begins the render of the 25 AVIs. Totally weird.System info Application: Adobe Media Encoder (Beta) v26.3.0.54 OS: Windows v10.0.26200, RAM: 63.79 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16
Steps to reproduce:Just finished rendering several dozen files, which worked flawlessly! The CUDA acceleration problem I last reported is fixed, and the machine went to sleep when it was done. When the machine awoke, it showed green checkmarks on all of the files that they were done, but the Encoding window showed the last file open with the progress bar half done. That had me confused for a moment. When I clicked the comment button, the Encoding window cleared and now is OK.That freeze in the encoding window could confuse someone, so I’m reporting it as a bug. Yesterday I rendered a timeline to h.264 and AME shows a choice of renderer for either the nVidia 5080 Cuda or Software only. Today, after this update, it shows Software Only. What happened??? New in Media Encoder (Beta) 25.6 build 38: Transcribe source footage directly into .prmi sidecar files so editors can jump into Text-Based Editing the moment they open Premiere Pro. If you're working with a high volume of footage, waiting for transcription can slow you down. This update lets you offload that task to Media Encoder during import, enabling transcription to run in parallel while you continue editing in Premiere Pro. This builds on our existing use of .prmi files for visual analysis which enables editors to jump into the search panel in Premiere Pro. Now, with transcription support added to Analysis Presets, Media Encoder can generate .prmi files that include both visual and textual metadata Learn more about creating visual search sidecars: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-media-encoder-beta-discussions/now-in-beta-use-media-encoder-to-analyze-your-videos-for-visual-search-in-premiere-pro/td-p/15243537 With transcription now available in Medi
I have a watch folder set and a preset to transcribe all video files in the folder. Issue number one is that for about half of the video files I get an error saying that analysis only works for media files, which they obviously are. If I put the videos into Premiere the text gets transcribed just fine. Issue two is that Premiere isn’t recognizing the .prmi files. For the videos that do get transcribed, when I put them into premiere it doesn’t recognize that it’s been transcribed already and I don’t see a way to import the .prmi files and I have to transcribe in premiere again. Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something here?
Multi-channel audio workflows in AME have been a headache. Wrong channelization leads to QC failures, bloated archives, and hours wasted creating custom presets. We hear your needs for a simpler way to keep audio settings intact, especially for mezzanine formats and proxies. NEW: Match Source Audio In Media Encoder (Beta) 26.1 build 10, we can automatically detect and apply your source audio properties. Think Match Source Video for your audio! What It Does Matches sample rate and channelization (Stereo, 5.1, 8-channel, etc.) Works for QuickTime, HEVC, and H.264 (format-dependent), as well as Waveform Audio and MP3. MXF support coming soon. If the selected format doesn’t support the source channelization (for example, H.264 only supports mono, stereo, or 5.1), Media Encoder will fall back to the closest supported option. If you need to preserve all channels, consider using a format that supports them, such as QuickTime. How to Use It 1. Manual Selection In AME export se
