Adobe Scan

Hi, for the last few days, when I scan all the documents are in back and white and I cannot adjust settings to leave as original - please help. It was great app up until this.Thanks,Sean

I have 150 pages that I scanned in through Adobe scanner on my ipad. I saved all of them as one big file. After I opened the file in Adobe reader on my ipad, and started annotating the PDF, I realized that page 50 got auto cropped weird and I needed to go back and edit it. So I went back to adobe scanner to edit, but it said can't edit because it was modified outside of Adobe scanner. Does the original scan get saved somewhere as a backup, so if I need to modify the original  after I made changes in reader, I don't have to rescan 150 pages?! If not, how do I make a copy of a scanned file? I don't see an option in the app to duplicate or backup a file. Giant gap in the app functionality if this is not possible!!

THE PDF  FILE SIZES  ARE LESS  THAN  1 MB,  OPPOSED TO JPG  FILE  PHOTO  WHICH SEEM TO BE  MORE  CLEAR.

Hi,Using the Adobe Scan app with an IPAD...Normally taking scans and have the opportunity to see all the scans from previous, but suddenly they are gone...Anyone know where they might be? - can’t seem to find them anywher...Regards!

Around half the time I use Scan the image is downsampled or compressed, or whatever happens to it, so badly that the original text becomes illegible.  How can we stop this happening?   On the face of it, a useful app but this fault renders it too unreliable to be of any use.

I use the app on IOS. When viewing the files as a list the names are cut off. Usually I just rotate my phone to landscape mode so the line space is longer now and more or all of the file name is displayed. I could not get this app to switch over to landscape for viewing. Seems pretty basic for a smartphone app to be able to do that from not only the list but anywhere in the app. I tried also when viewing a document but it stayed portrait there too. Not good!

Last month the adobe scan app on my iphone started crashing after scanning a few (1-5) pages. Sometimes the pages scanned are saved, sometimes not. I have deleted app., rebooted phone and reinstalled app with no resolution for the problem! Help!

On an android phone. Once I scan an image and I want to share that scan via email. It always promps a link in the body of the email. How to I prevent that link so it just sends the pdf scan?

Hi there, I have been scanning documents using Adobe Scan. I organized the documents into different folders in the CC on my computer, and ever since, the Adobe Scan app is not working on my iphone. It keeps crashing and not opening. I undid all the changes in the CC and the Scan app is still now working on my phone. It keeps crashing. How can I fix this?

This question related to the use of Adobe Scan app dor ipad pro. Before i can subscribe i want to check the convenience your app provides. will the scanned files able to be saved direcly in my icloud folders? so i can eliminate the steps to transfer from adobe cloud to icloud? If so, how can it be done? Thanks

I went to access my scanned documents through the app today and the app was completely empty. So, I searched the forums for solutions and got on to my cloud. NOTHING. So disappointing. Yes, I used the same login. Yes, I checked my cloud via my PC. Yes, I uninstalled and re-installed the app. Still nothing. Anything else I could try?

Hello -I am supporting teachers who are trying to use Adobe Scan. We are all using iOS devices and logging in with our Google for Education accounts. For most users, it works amazingly well. For some users, when they go to login and select to login with a Google Account, they input their Google credentials, the Adobe info page comes up that asks for their birthdate (they are all adults so no issue there), but then when they submit that page, they get an error message:Adobe IDErrorThere was an error with this action. Try again later.Any suggestions for a solution? I don't notice anything obvious that is different about the users that get this error vs those of us that do not get it and login just fine. Thanks!

I am getting confusedWhere can I find scanned documents for editing ?

My LG5 has a dual camera: an F1.8 aperture and an F2.4 aperture w/135 degree wide lens. The F1.8 lost ability to focus. I can only focus by moving the camera physically closer/farther away. With AdobeScan, focusing in this manner drastically limits the field of view. To get the whole image puts it out of focus and since I'm mostly scanning receipts, greatly over exposed.Is there a work-around?

The way how to move a FILE from Dropbox to store it locally on iPad is well desribed ("Copying a Dropbox file to Acrobat").I do have a lot of files in my Dropbox, all classified in a multilevel folder structure.Is there a way how to move them folder-wise to the local storage on my iPad?I would prefer such a way in order to avoid moving hundreds of files individually...Cheers, Jürg

im trying to figure out how to move my files scanned through Adobe Scan to the cloud to a different location for retentio. any help is appreciated.

I do not want documents to be uploaded on cloud.

Just downloaded Abobe Scan IOS. Already have Adobe Pro DC so I have rights to upload to Adobe Cloud.  You just do the scan photo, save as a PDF (takes a while), and then click on Contact.  It does a great job adding and letting you edit name, organization, phone # and email. But how can you add additional Contacts fields to the initial upload to Contacts? There must be a way to add an address, title, URL, twitter, Facebook, etc. fields that are already in Contacts.  Now you have to add all that separately. By the way, the machine assist to get the fields right is brilliant. I just want to be able to do all the data entry at the same time, not have to switch to Contacts and enter additional (important!) fields by hand.

I have downloaded Adobe Scan to my iPhone & cant see how I get it to add the data to my contacts. Please adviseThanksSteve
