Adobe Scan

I scanned a document but i think i forgot to save it as a pdf and now the document is gone.  is there any way to retrieve it?  it's not in the cloud

Hello,We want to use adobe scan in our company.How can we connect to the document cloud to download the images to our sftp-server automaticly?Is there a interface which we can use?Best regards

I'm a new user of Adobe Scan. I can scan document. The program says it is "recognizing text." But after that I see no way, Adobe Scan, to edit the text.Is there a way? or must you send it to Adobe Acrobat DC and have it recognize and edit text there?Thx.Phil

I currently have the latest version of the app (just updated yesterday) but the app quits on me while in the middle of capturing documents. The screen goes black, the app quits, and when I log back in nothing is saved. It has never done this before. Possible bug in the new version? Or is there another way of fixing this problem?

i need my scans to go directly to my email address.  The app is useless to me unless this feature is there. Will this be coming in an update?  All other features and operations are great but I won't be using it without this feature. Thanks.

I love the app, but the cropping is a pain. - auto crop makes a lot of mistakes, for example when cropping a photo print that has a white border all the way around. Auto crop tends to include the border at some corners and not at others - it should be consistent. - manual crop is really hard to get right on a small touch screen (e.g. 4” display on an iPhone 5s). The detail window should be magnified 4 times what it is. I can put the corner where I want it by steadying my thumb against the other thumb, but I can’t pick up my thumb without moving the corner of the crop, so I have to do each corner over and over, maybe 10 times each until I get lucky and it stays where it should be at each one. - when I scan something that’s not flat (e.g. a card held in one hand with a slight bend where my thumb touches it make it curve slightly and stand up), the lines of text aren’t parallel or straight in the initial image. I wish there were a transformation option to automatically make the lines of

So all step completed and was able to access scans online 2 weeks ago, now just scanned a new item navigated to online and I find all previous scans have gone and the new scan will not upload.Any ideas or a solution

Everything seems to be working fine until a few seconds after Iswitch into scanning mode; camera seems to freeze, though I am able.to go back to the previous screen.Is it a bug?

The title says it: Uploading a scanned document to the Document Cloud with iOS Devices is not working since days.

Just curious if Adobe will sign a BAA. I do see the cloud is HIPAA compliant but need to get a BAA for Adobe scan before we can deploy to our end users. From what I have researched I don't know if Adobe will sign one or if it is possible.

Hello,This is a relatively minor issue, but an annoyance nonetheless. Even though I updated my name in my Adobe ID account online, the app refuses to update it, despite clearing data, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc etc.Any chance this could be fixed?Thank you!

How do you delete a scan from the cloud? Instructions say to open the scan and hit the trash button at the bottom of the page but it does not appear  on my scans. Please help. Thanks

How do I switch app to save the scanned PDF to my linked Dropbox account instead of uploading to cloud?

So, first off, I love this app!  I use it to take a photo of my instructors powerpoint slides and create a very printable PDF to study.After collecting an exams worth of pictures I go to import them into Scan and I get the "Unable to Capture Image" error message.  I tried multiple and single images with the same error.  The app works fine if I'm taking pictures from the app to import the slides.  The error occurs when I try to add them from my camera roll.Any suggestions?

offline save is NOT ACCEPTABLe. Our office carries multiple licenses paying hundreds of dollars for an app that doesn't allow me to download my own content to my device. If this issue is not resolved by our renewal date. I am going to cancel all subscriptions. 

I take scans on my phone with the App...it says they are uploading, but they do not appear in my cloud account..any suggestions? Thanks

Sometime the auto crop function may be a little out of range, so I try to crop the scanned doc manually but the selection range was not auto snap-in and attach to the doc border when I slide it. I need to move all four angles instead of sliding the side selection range. CxmScanner app did better on this.

Hello,my native camera app offers geotagging, which connects the location where the picture/video has been taken with the image/video and possibly more information.Does Adobe Scan do/offer something like that? Or does the saving-in-the-adobe-cloud do something like that? Regards,

I used Adobe Scan for Android to scan a numerical tabular document and then I saved it to a pdf file. The OCR results were unexpectedly poor, with several digits recognized as alphabetical or special characters.The source photo was good and sharp, and some incorrectly recognized digits in one place were recognized correctly in other locations. The quality of the source digit in all the locations were of comparable quality and clarity. What can be done to improve the quality of the results? Perhaps a flag to indicate that the image is text only, numeric only, or mixed could be added in a drop-down option list to select before saving and OCRing the scan? The current selection would be shown on the drop-down button.

I don't wanna save the whole page instead just want to capture an article. It focuses properly at first while capturing, but image gets blurred out.

Hello Adobe Community, I was wondering if there is any way of adding new pictures or files to a pre-exisiting one . I'm currently using simple scanner, and it allows you to continue adding more pictures to your file even after you've saved it, but it doesn't feel as fluid as Adobe's interface. Not to mention Adobe's versatility. This add- to function helps alot in scenarios where i don't have all the necessary contents to scan yet. Ie . School- Making a collective file for a specific unit as I go along. I can continue to add more scanned homework and lectures to the file I've created once I've completed them.Thank you kind friends,Yours truly, Friend
