Adobe Scan

Now I can't figure out how to go back and change it. I'm very new to the iPhone, I have a 5s. Totally new to this cross-device business. I can't find anyplace on the phone to change it, nor in the Scan program itself. Help?

Hi, I started using this App to scan my documents a few months ago. All of the suddenly, when i launch the app last week, i realized all my older files are all gone. The only remaining files are those that i scanned a few weeks ago. Can anyone please help? Many thanks!

I am changing screen captures  (saved as images) into pdf files.  Autocrop is aggressive, and in some cases, it takes away as much as 2/3 of the information (mostly text) from the image.  I have also had it skew lines on images, but not text or images, significantly.Please help me to turn off optimization (skew and crop), especially for screen captures.  I would like to have the option of cropping them myself.  Software is not capable of properly determining which text is important and what can be cropped, AI or not.Thanks, Dave

I cannot delete any scanned pdf files from the app, it gives be the error “file was unable to be deleted”.how do I delete scanned pdf files?

Hello Friends,I wonder if someone can assist me. I made the mistake of swiping down on a user interface feature in the main window at the bottom of the screen which said, “Scan document”. This hid that feature unfortunatel.I have been trying to find how I can get this back but cannot find how to do it.If anyone knows how, I would be grate full hearing from you.Many thanks in advance!

No doubt this is an incredible app with efficient functions.but, when we can be able to reach it in China on iOS?

In the latest update of the Adobe scanner the documents are automatically searched and recognized. However,  often this function does recognize only part of the document, so that the scan is not the complete document. As far as I can see there is no manual function for correcting the frame of the scan area and there is no possibility to cancel the automatic document search.How to solve this problem?

i would like to import receipts into QuickeN mobile  at their trimmed and optimized size but it appears that the only options now are PDF and the entire camera image saved to Photos. QuickeN mobile will currently only attach  images from Photos, no PDFs.  The ability to save a jpg version of the processed file would be handy for other apps also. Hopefully QuickeN will support PDFs soon as it would be nice to be able to search for items on receipts. I have to use Neat Receipts, or something similar, currenrly to accomplish this — doubling my workflow.

I've asked this off every other Android scanner app developer and have yet got a reply. When I open up a 'greyscale' pdf created in a scanner app I  Acrobat pro I've noticed that they are always faux greyscale. That is, the images are saved in 3 channel, 24 bit RGB, not 8 grey.I just installed this app but haven't tested it to see if it does the same, but I somehow suspect so. Given the data savings and the limited storage of mobile devices, I would have thought every effort would be made to give the users a chance to make smaller files.And going even further, why not a pure 1bit black and white option? Given the high resolution of many device cameras now, 1 bit would be more than fine for good readability and faster /easier sharing/printing and storage. I've tested 1bit converted versions of pdfs made on Android apps and they function fine for viewing (with my Samsung Note 4, it's a 400 dpi embedded image). What's more, the pure bw versions are anywhere from 1/4 to 1/10 the file

Hi, I know how to combine multiple images or scans in one pdf however how should I select multiple pdfs and send via email. Currently, I can share only 1 pdf via link or email.Please Help.

ADobe scan won't photograph the whole page, sometimes the bottom is missed out.

Hi,I am using Adobe Scan on my IOSphone  and I think it's great.  The only thing I can't seem to do is disable the "looking for document" functionality as it keeps truncating what I want to capture.  I can get the IOS camera to display on the screen exactly what I want to be scanned - but some automatic functionality seems to insist on capturing what it thinks is the content I want - but is't.I couldn't find an Adobe Scan forum and was hoping that maybe someone in this forum could answer the question or point me in another direction.Thanks, Dave

all of my scans are automatically corrected, brightness etf. How to switch it off? Most of the time th correction makes the image much worse!

i just uploaded the app to my IPhone and IPad and Adobe Scan seems fairly straightforward and easy to use.  However, it seems to be missing some features that would make the app more functional and useful. I typically use CamScanner and most of my .pdf scan files are a work in progress. For example, I may save a receipt for a particular client to one file then subsequently save another receipt for a different client to another scan. It appears you are only allowed to work with one file at a time in Adobe Scan and once you save the scan you are not allowed to add additional scans to the file. Am I missing something? I see that after I save the .pdf scan I can upload it to other cloud services but it would also be nice to be able to designate a different cloud service to automatically save the scans to- like One Drive.

The mobile app shows a blank sign-in page, just the close option above the line in the top left corner.  Any suggestions on how to get logged in, please?

Can a representative from Adobe please list all domains that need to be Whitelisted for Adobe mobile apps? For instance, we have just added Adobe Scan onto a few phones. These phones have strict access to Work related sites only. The application can be downloaded from Google Playstore and installed. The application when first opened, asks to sign in with an account. In our case, we have our E-Mail hosted by Google, so we use the option, "Sign in with Google". When we select this option, using cellular data, we receive an "error login" pop up. When we use WiFi on the other hand, it allows us to connect/login with our Google accounts.Looking closely at what is currently blacklisted and using a fresh out of the box Android device, I can see that there's only 1 domain that is being blocked, that domain is: doubleclick.netThis is literally the only site that is black listed that this new Android device has attempted to access.
