Here are some most commonly asked questions and solutions about OCR on Adobe Scan Mobile App-   1-Why can't I select, edit, and comment or mark-ups text? OCR must be enabled. When it is, you should be able to copy and search text from the scan app. Working with converted text requires Acrobat Reader. If you have installed Acrobat Reader, tap Open in Acrobat to work with the text.   2-Why does OCR not appear to work on parts of my document? Because OCR is a complex conversion that relies on consuming recognizable text, certain document characteristics may degrade the quality of optical character recognition output. For example, the following conditions may impair OCR quality: A dark coloured background A source document with multiple languages A rotated source documents Scanning under light conditions that are too bright or dark A network connection and an Adobe Document Cloud connection is required   3- Why does OCR (text recognition) not work or produce

As I notice on 29 Dec 2020, AdobeScan and Document Cloud has stopped service in China region, and I can't access to my history documents or downlod them, please provide any kind of solution if I could get back my documents.Thanks!  p.s.my phone is Samsung S10, I downloaded adobe scan from Google Playstore.

I was working on one of the files I have consisting of 33 pages, which vanished from the recent scans and all scans tab, not even on the cloud portal of Adobe, don't know if this is a design issue with the app or not, but I have been betrayed by the app since the file was rare and I won't be getting the raw scan again, a total loss. I have lost trust in this app now.

Hi ive been using this free app on my iPhone for awhile now but I've just needed to scan sensitive documents and then delete them afterwards and I've just realized there is no trash can for me to delete from.... how do I know documents are really getting deleted? thdnk you for your help in this matter   Rebecca

When trying to use the mobile app Adobe Scan, I get "Mobile App Usage". message. How can I get pass the message so I can start scanning documents?

Is there a way to sync my local folders in adobe scan with document cloud?

My first use. Wondering if I got the wrong product for my needs. I'm running on an iPhone. I took a photo of a printed text document for which I no longer have the source. I wanted to OCR scan it and copy the text into a new text document to modify and reprint. Not sure what other use the OCR  would be for. The scan produces a pdf, which does me no good. Should I be able to get editable text from this OCR scan? If so, how?

So it happened like my teacher did not recieved my email and he is telling me this after a few months of the submission date and now when I want to resend it but it is not being shown in my recent scans. I know I can just click the pictures again but I had done a lot of editing and pasting pictures and charts so I don't have them physically please reply back as soon as possible. 

if turn auto capturing off ,capture option not working when second photo capturedand once i can review the photo and goback it will worked . so what is the difference between multiple page scan while turn off auto cpature and turn on auto capture

I installed the app using Playstore on my android phone and got charged although it says Adobe Scan is free.

Whenever I try to create a folder in Adobe Scan app, it does not allow me to create one. Moreover, it does not save any pdf document after I save any. What should I do?(N.B - I have downloaded the app just now)

Whenever I click pics from Adobe Scan it freezes after each click... For this then I have to click pics from my phone's camera and then import it to Adobe Scan... plz help and remove this bug...

I have a problem where my digital signature (supplied by a 3rd party) will trigger a 109 error to the signed pdf, but only if I scan the document with adobe scan for ios. I scanned the same document with adobe scan for android, signed it, it worked faultless. I have the same problem with adobe scan on iphone and ipad ... I need my ios app working because all my work documents are on my icloud. PLEASE HELP

After taking scans for 100 pages and while saving the pdf file is disappeared.

Can't scan documents from my Poco m2 pro. 

The grey information box cannot be removed and I therefore cannot access my APP. I went on "Chat" twice with no help. Does this look like a software problem that Adobe needs to rectify? Or, what else can I do? 

While uploading to cloud, it saves into 2 files, can't recognize original from duplicate copy. It's so confusing. Please find attachment.Check it as soon as possible
