Adobe XD

Hello, I have designed an email but now need to actually send it. Do I need to turn it into an HTML format? Or can you just export it? I have the Anima plugin, but am not sure how to actually use what I have created. Right now I'm looking to just send via gmail, but ideally I would like to use Marketo. Is there any way to do that? Thank you - 

This is insane.  I am working on several projects and everytime I start to type in the text box (any text box) I have to use ALT + TAB to type anything.  I am so frustrated over this I am going to have to switch all my projects over to Figma and lose some of my XD capabilities but I won't have this workflow issue every time I try to type. This is insane that Adobe can't push a fix to this well documented problem.  I am very frustrated and discouraged. This happens when I save documents to the cloud or locally on my machine.I am using Adobe XD Version: 45.1.62.3, Creative Cloud Sync 4.21.1.1This happens regardless of the font or font size though I haven't tried all my fonts, I am using mostly Roboto or Circular Std.This happens on new projects and existing projects about 70% of the time.  When I select the text box, or draw a new one, then try to type, sometimes a few letters will appear then the system freezes or after I select the text box, I won't be abl

This past 6months its felt like Adobe XD on Windows has become very unstable. I frequently have to open Task Manager to force quit the app since its in a state where it doesnt respond. The app randomly will freeze as I am trying to do work. Sometimes I work around this random freeze by minimizing then maximizing Adobe XD. But other times its completely forzen and I have to force quit. Does Adobe XD capture "freezes" in logs to be fixed? Because I dont have repro steps for these kinds of freezes, they happen randomly and frequently as I work.

I like Adobe XD and use it as my main working tool. But it's just terrible for large projects. We need some serious optimizations for large projects or cross-prototype linking (when pressing a button in Prototype1 will open a page from Prototype2) so we can divide our large projects into smaller parts.   As you can see below Adobe XD maxes out my RAM (16GB, 4GB for os and system apps). Also it's not visible here, but Adobe XD blows up pagefile.sys up to 25GB. Also it creates PublishingRepository and SnapshotRepository in AppData system folder which can accumulate more than 30GB.     It takes my Surface Book 2 about 10 minutes to open my project, it takes even longer to save it. I can't use Cloud files, because they automatically save after every change. It becomes a step by step process, when I have to wait several minutes after some action to perform the next one.   Also want to mention here, that this prorotype is only for the mobile version of the proj

Hi,I've updated XD to ver. 45 x64 and the artboard titles in all my XD files changed to unreadable texts.Is there anything I can do to fix this?  

Hi there, I'm having an issue with certain components within a local file that are linking to a cloud component library. For example, if we update a component in the shared component library, it seems to cause issues to local documents that are linking to said shared component library. The link icons are red on these components as well. Also sometimes when we drag newly updated components into the local document, they end up scaling strangly or we get an error message.  If we update the links within the local document, it negates all the adjustments made to the components (reverting back to the default state) which is a bit of a pain.  Also we get an error message saying " Component XXXX has required components that conflict with components in your document. Please update the libraries with these components to the same version "XXXXX"  The only solve we have is starting a new XD file and copy and pasting the artboards in this new document. Howeve

Just a note for the community managers here, but I think we really need support for flows with URL so that you can batch update all the changes you have made (across all the flows that have had changes made to them at the same time)    Going one by one really sucks especially if you are maintaining a document with a lot of urls (like I have attached)   Honestly don't care if this takes a super long time, but I would prefer to be able to do this and then walk away from my computer then waste time identifying all the flows which have updates to them and then clicking like 100 times to update everything and then need to wait after every single update to finish before moving onto the next url

Tengo un problema durante el diseño de mi prototipo con el Adobe XD. No se la razón, por la que el preview de mis diseños se ven más grandes de lo que son en realidad.Me explico:En PHOTOSHOP una imagen a 72pp de 300x300 pixeles; Si lo visualizo al 100% se ve a su TAMAÑO REAL. Pero con el adobe XD se ven los diseños con un porcentaje de tamaño más grande.No se la razón por la que se ven los diseños más grandes en el Adobe XD,. Después, cuando exportas se ve el diseño en a su tamaño verdadero, pero cuando diseñas no.He mirado las opciones de zoom, pero no veo ninguna opción.¿alguien conoce por que se ve grande?

Hi, So I'm very new to design and I made my first app design on XD for an 'iPhone 12 Pro Max' screen (in hindsight I would have chosen an iPhone X). I'd like to showcase my prototype on my portfolio website with an iPhone 12 pro max device mockup to give it a better look but I can't find one because it has a larger screen than other iPhones and seems to be less commonly used by designers. Can someone please tell me where to look for one? If I can't find one is it okay to just have a prototype without a device frame around it? Thanks, A

Surprisingly, the XD team slept on adding the typography scaling and alignment controls required to create and hand off design properly.The random feeling em box around text, is just a complete mess and options to scale and align text properly by baseline and cap height are just entirely missing. Here is a visual illustrating the severity of this. Showing a 20 sized text in different fonts aligned to the top of the 20 sized cubes on the left.As even a blind man can see, aligning this properly and getting a consistent design feel which can be handed off to development, is completely out of the question as it is. Here the exact same scene in Illustrator. Where "font height reference" can be set to "cap height".Beautifully consistent result in other Adobe software, just not the one where it matters the absolute most...How this was overlooked in XD is baffling to me.This should be the default. I see no reason why anyone would not want their typography to work consistently.Have yo

I am unable to open an XD file which was shared with me.If I try to open it, I just get attached errors.I seem to have two profiles for my account. One personal and one belonging to my company. One gets a "no permissions" error and one just a "cannot open" error.I can change between profiles on Creative Cloud desktop but not for XD. For some reason all of the artboards on one of my master asset files got deleted and I am trying to revert to an earlier version as per this documentation This image shows my only options when trying to follow the instructions from the help page. Hi everyone,I encountered the following problem: a prototype with a video has sound in the preview but not when viewed in the browser via the export link.Tried several browsers, all the same.After some playing around I found out that it only happens when the video is set to autoplay – not when starting the video on click.Anyone else having that bug or a solution?Thanks!Max 

Hi! My colleague is leaving the company and she is the owner of several documents. Her subscription will be canceled and I guess the account will be deleted. What will happen to the documents she has shared with me? Will I be able to open them?

I am trying to build a shared navigation for a webpage prototype.1. It would look the same throughout every page (similar to a symbol)2. The visual would change when I changed the master image. (similar to a symbol)3. The links would change when I changed the master links. (similar to links inside an Overlay)The navigation would be similar to the way an "Overlay" action would work except that it would always remain on the page instead of animating in.Is this possible in XD?  I can not find this in any tutorial or document.The only solution is to copy and paste all the links to every page I create.  If I have edits, then I must recopy every link on each page.

When I'm trying to import SVGs created with Adobe Illustrator into Adobe XD import fails and XD shows the error of invalid markup. It worked fine before.When I copy/paste the same graphic from Adobe Illustrator to XD it works fine.Graphic contains only simple shapes (no special effects, strokes, gradients  etc). I'm using Windows 10 x64. This issue occurs within our whole team. Please fix that and let us know how to solve this problem.   <Title renamed by moderator>
