Adobe XD

How do I get this shape to be a hover state within the component and how do I resize with the length of the text in the button component?

I have a question about your system development. I would like to know if  Adobe XD has any plans to develop the system to be on the cloud.

I'm using this video to try and recreate this menu. This is what my menu ultimately looks like.Could somebody make a video to show me how to reproduce this menu? I'd like to be able to have the hover states working.

I have a question about Adobe XD and then turning a desktop website, a tablet size website and a phones sized website into functioning websites.  Once completed in XD and turned t into functioning websites with code manufactured by WordPress by Yoda can the size alter?  If the monitor size, tablet size, or phone size of another device is larger or smaller than art board sizes, do these websites alter to fit other screens?  Do they adjust themselves to different monitor sizes etc. phone sizes etc.?   How do Internet devices distinguish between monitor, tabloid, and phone sizes from a host?  How does a cell phone select the cell phone version as opposed to a monitor or tabloid? I suppose it does and it should not be a concern. When you have built portfolio web sites, will Adobe cloud have a hosting function for the members of Adobe?  I would appreciate any input to these questions as I am new to XD. Thanks Bill

I've been having issues when copying and pasting assets from XD to Illustrator. Whenever I copy and paste an asset with a photo, the photo gets turned into a pattern and tiles. Also, text within a grouped asset will be off center unless the text box is set to "auto width" within XD. This also happens when assets are saved into our CC library and dragged from the library into an Illustrator file. My team and I are constantly going between XD and Illustrator and this bug is greatly slowing down our workflow. 

Hi! So I've been struggling with this for a while but maybe it's me, or something I have to do on Photoshop. I am making a before and after slider for my Adobe portfolio website. And I'm not sure why there is noise on the photo when I embed it but when I go back to adobe xd it looks fine. Is there any solution? Below is the embed result.and this one below is the adobe xd file  

Hello! I know that you have the ability to move your own pinned comments, but I was wondering if owners of the prototype link are now able to move everyones comments.  I am running into the problem where a client put loads of pinned comments in. I made the the changes, but now the pins don't match where the changes have been made. They want to be able to see all the resolved comments to double check everything. Because they are a guest, they also can't move them once they close out of the link. Any help would be appreciated!

It looks like XD cannot manage its shares anymore in a correct fashion.It's Manage Links functionality now brings us to (yet another) new Adobe page which looks a lot like the Creative Cloud window but the XD links are now part of a Files section there. But when you try to manage them, they disappear with a silly oops message, and from that point i am unable to create new XD shares, or edit current ones. Some are even gone…  

HelloOur website displays an interactive Adobe XD file that I embedded.When I go to manage our cookies, it detects 2 cookies from .xd.adobe.com which doesn't have a category or a script URL pattern. Kindly guide me through finding the right base script or xhr to insert. When I Look for it myself I'm overwhelmed with tons of xhr and scripts to choose from. As for the category, I believe it should be under Functional since the page should load without giving consent to see the interactive part of the XD file, but if they want to, they'd have to turn on functional cookies. Hi All,  My XD prototype once published, is not running or opening in the Behance work post. Behnace is logged in through my personal Adobe Id and the Adobe XD i created the prototype is logged in through my work adobe ID, is this the reason the prototype is not opening in Behance? 

I work with a dev team and we use our projects for style guides for each of our products. With the discontinuation of AdobeXD support, are we going to be able access older shared links to projects or do we need to migrate previous projects to other platforms?  Thanks! 

I can't open a file that I worked yesterday.Saved to local drive  file size: 457.6mbXD version: 57.1.12Mac version:  Tried opening it on another computer.Tired opening at other computers with different Adobe accountTried creating a new user on my mac none of the above works.Seriously need help with this issue. Need this document to be submitted today. 

XD is sucking all the resources of my MacBookPro. XD is the latest version. I've tried everything to speedup and didn't work. Help please!

Is it possible to connect one XD document with another when prototyping?When i click on a button in the main document it should switch to the other document. But I don't know how. I don't want my main document to be overload with different artboards. Thanks 🙂

Hi.In the most recent update, I've noticed there's a bug when pasting vector from Illustrator to XD. I copy a shape from Illustrator and then, in XD, I select the artboard where I want to paste it (or an object just to paste the shape above that object) and it crashes, it closes automatically (I attached a video). Sometimes I have to select first an object inside a component and paste the shape inside it, so it won't crash. If I manage to paste something from Illustrator without crashing, it looks like the bug is gone and then I can paste normally even when selecting only the artboard. Is this only happening to my system? I'm using Adobe XD version 33.1.12.4 Thank you

Hello Folks,Please help me with this!I’m working on a dashboard and planning to add a calendar feature where users can select a country to see that country’s holidays highlighted. Additionally, I want to allow users to select up to three countries simultaneously to compare their holiday dates.Has anyone implemented a similar feature before, or does anyone have suggestions on the best way to design this for a seamless user experience? Hello Adobe XD team and community, I've been collaboratively working with an Adobe XD file with my team so some months.Unfortunately I'm now hindered by the inspector panel not allowing me to see or adjust the top attributes for size and position or even a way to change/adjust font. All I see and have access to is:Appearance, Opacity, Blend Modes, Fill and BorderEffects, Inner Shadow, Drop Shadow, Background Blur and Mark for Export Is anyone else running into this issue? I'm using a PC and my Adobe XD is up to date using version 54.1.12.1  Creative Cloud Sync 5.17.0.36 Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!  

I heard that due to the merger of Adobe XD and Figma, Adobe XD will not be getting any more updates, is it now in 2024 so I should learn Adobe XD as a newbie? Many people ask me to learn Figma, what do you think? Looking forward to your valuable feedback. Thanks. Note: I already have good experience with Adobe Illustrator.

I've been using Adobe XD for almost two years through an enterprise license from my company. However, the license expired five days ago. We managed to get it reactivated, and after signing back into my Adobe account, I noticed that none of my cloud files are showing up. It's concerning that the files linked to my account aren't appearing even after reactivation.Could you please guide me on how to retrieve my XD cloud files? Adobe team, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

We recently had to open a new VIP account.The old account had a CC license with the user's email address. (Mac OS )In the new account I added the user (with the same email address (Mac OS)I re-downloaded CC and logged in with the username.Currently I don't see any option to sync.Even when I go into the settings I don't see an option for synchronization settings at all.Plus I don't see XD at all.Can anyone suggest a solution?

I have many Xd files that I have spent many 100 hours making. My mac has just been reset and now I can't download Adobe XD free version anymore. What do I do?

Currently, the Blur Effects are limited to 50 pixels, which, for large objects, is just not enough by any means. Converting everything into images and blurring them in Photoshop is just not practical. It would be nice if you could enter larger numbers in the blur than 50 pixels. For me personally, this is only a problem with the two blur effects, but it would be nice in general to have the option to enter larger values in the effects and other fields.
