Adobe XD

I'm a UI/UX designer from Sri Lanka.I've used the free plan for Adobe XD because purchasing a plan was not avialable in my country. Wasn't really a problem until the updates to the free plan made recently. Now I can't update my existing shared links or create any new links.  I have no problem paying the montly subscription fee for the product. Bu tthe problem is, it's not supported in my country.The authorised resellers in the list provided only have Adobe CC licence, which is usless to me because I almost exclusively use XD and have very little to no use for the other apps on CC. As I said, I understand that Adobe needs to make money and have no problem paying for the subscription, but if you make changes to the plans, please have an option for users like me to purchase the said plans without too much hassle. Thanks!

Deleting a component from assets panel that contains nested components also removes the nested components from assets. I have made a toast component with a button inside. I delete the toast from my assets, suddenly my nested button is no longer a component and all the created states of the button are gone? Why is that`?I had to redo so many compontents because of this.This is occuring only now in v.37.2 

Hello, my Adobe xd files wont open. i have contacted support team and was told to; update my windows (windows up to date) log out of creative cloud, uninstall and install XD,   i have done all of that and yet XD files wont load or snyc.. its so fraustrating. please look into the issue. I am learning ux design i need to know the best guide for text size please i got confused in that please needs help?  2-i use alt+shift+Q key to get some photoshop image to xd when i did that nothing happened is there another meathod to do that? 

Hello - I am collaborating with a designer in Belarus. We work for the same company and have enterprise accounts. I have noticed that the latest version of Adobe XD is not available to him at the same time it is available to me, resulting in his inability to work on files that I have created in a newer version. Is there a standard lag time for international updates? Should I just expect to have to wait a few days in order for him to catch up every time Adobe XD gets updated? It is incredibly frustrating, and results in major work delays when he is unable to coedit with me. 

Can anyone let me know if there is a timer plug in that i could attatch to a website to enable it to be open and closed for repeated periods. Im using XD mainly.

As a Figma user attempting to move to XD, the missing feature for me is the ease of creating storyboards of my designs, especially when designing animated web banners. I don't understand why XD wants me to create a rectangle, then size it, then color it in order for my group to have a background. Then create a second rectangle so that the group can have a border over all elements in the group. I was creating an artboard for each storyboard frame so that I could have content stay within the frame. But then XD doesn't group artboards or allow them to be stacked. Researching shows I can mask with shapes, but then I have to mask each element in my storyboard frame?! Feature Request: add group-level styling (color/image fill, borders, shadows, padding!) and masking (content overflow: hidden), please!

how to use such format tool in xd to get reusability like in ms-word and excel.   {Renamed By MOD}  

 Rounding corners in figma is easy peasy. Where the heck is the rounding corners function for canvases? XD can do for the rectange shape, but when I try and round the corners on the iphone canvas no dice. What is going on?

Context: I make share links in XD to share flows with a developer I am collaborating with. Sometimes I make changes that affect several of these links at the same time.  Question: Right now I'm only able to update the content in one of these links one at a time – is it possible to update all the links in a document at the same time?  

Hi,I am new to XD. I have a button which having hover state. I followed symple way which is making component and giving default and hover states. It is not nested layer at all. The hover effect working on XD preview and it is not working in browser after exporting html and css. My XD version is up to date which 36 something. Please let me know what is the issue in it.

I use a font manager to install fonts (Extensis Suitcase). I have read XD might have a problem with font managers. I will stop using XD before I bother manually installing fonts into my fonts directory. When I open an Illustrator file some installed fonts are reported missing in XD. Fonts not reported missing are showing correctly but the font is not in the fonts dropdown menu. For example I have a font on my system (not Adobe CC font) Proxima Nova. This has the full range of weights. In the Illustrator file fonts are showing as they should. When I open the file in XD most weights of this font are showing but "Light" is missing (for some reason) When I try to replace the missing font the replacement dropdown is greyed outThe fonts that have imported and are showing as they should get the full range of options in the Character pane:BUTIf I want to use "Proxima Nova" somewhere else that font is missing from the menu: 

Hello, I've tried to create an overlay menu with a set vertical scrolling height so the menu doesn't scroll over the search bar. As soon as you start scrolling, the scroll height breaks and the menu can be scrolled out of bounds. This only seems to happen when using an overlay though as I could not replicate the bug on a normal page.

Hi,I'm new to Adobe XD.  I'm facing a problem which is I cannot change the value of the viewport through the keyboard and it has to be manually.  I mean, when entering a value for the viewport then press Enter the value doesn't change.  The only way to change the value is to grip viewport by the mouse and change up or down. Someone suggested to change "H" to change the viewport value but that changes the height of the page not viewport value.The version I have is 36.2.32.5 Starter.Is it a technical problem ?

Hello. An existing link in Adobe XD cannot be updated by an other co-editor, why is this? It is very impractical if no other person can continue and update my work while I'm (for example) on holiday. Will this request be possible in the future? Thanks   {Renamed By MOD}

When trying to copy and paste a layer in XD it won't work. The functions are available but when clicking it won't respond. Also noticed that when the layer is selected and when I click on 'Edit in Photoshop' it won't respond either. Is this a known bug issue?

There is an issue observed in XD when the shapes are getting edited. Once double-clicked on shape, the edit shape points get activates (which are generally used to edit the shape). The top left edit point is always auto selected which is causing problem. Please comment on this issue and rectify.

Hello there. I'll try to describe my issue with Xd as simple as possible.I've been using Xd since day 1, but recently using Xd is just a struggle I have to deal with. It's way too slow and buggy (especially with the type tool) it's almost impossible to use sometimes. This is true for both large files and even new empty files. I'm running the latest version and I always keep it updated (in fact each update makes it worse). I tried troubleshooting the problem with no luck so far. My PC has a technically powerful enough CPU (Core i7-6500U) and 16Gb RAM. I feel like Xd is getting more demanding with each update, if that's the case, please let me know. Thanks.

I went to access the "shared with you" and there is none of the team's files. it happens to all co-workersAll of our shared files are gone... it is more and more difficult to work with so many problems.    

Really missing the posibilty to use "Time" as trigger for animating between component states.E.g. tap a button, auto-animate to a checkmark state - use time trigger to revert back to default state.tap default -> new state -> trigger time -> default state

From to afternoon i cannot access my cloud documents from my desktop app, i've tried restarting the system but issue was still exist , can anyone help me to solve this issue

Hello people, I have been using XD for almost 2 years now and there is a very annoying bug that has occurred on my software for the past 2 days.   For some reason, I could not use the gradient direction (the drag indicator for you to adjust the color shades) and this applies for both radial and linear gradient settings.   I have tried everything, reinstalling XD, reinstalling Adobe CC, etc. and nothing seems to help (except for formatting my PC). It just recurred as usual.   Can anyone please help me on this issue?   Screenshot (1542) is taken when I tried to select Gradient, and Screenshot (1543) was what happened after that. The gradient indicator should be in the Path itself isn't it? 😞   <The Title was renamed by moderator>  

This is what I got as an error - after 2 crashes I was not prepared about. Latest version of XD, windows 10. I got this error when I tried to Save as... a document which had started already giving errors - for instance, and just for the sake of the designer's good mood, the UNDO function stopped working.  I know that if I work on a document for which the UNDO function stopped working, and if I close that document, NOTHING gets saved. Once the undo, ctrl+z or whatever one tries to just undo, stops working, one can continue editting that document but this is in vain. Nothing will be saved. Knowing that, now that UNDO stopped working, I tied to save the document with Save as... and here is what I got. And there is nothing in C:\Users\.......\AppData\Local\Packages\Adobe.CC.XD_adky2gkssdxte\AC\Dumps   {Renamed By MOD}  

My internet situation at work is sometimes a bit shoddy and I've noticed that anytime you are trying to create/update your share link and your internet connection gets interrupted the link that you are trying to generate/update becomes corrupted and you are no longer able to update it after that. As far as I can tell there is no fix for this and you just have to duplicate your project or generate a new share link for your project. This unfortunately also removes any notes made on the previous share link and you have to generate a new one. To be clear the original link still exists you just cannot update it anymore.
