Adobe XD

I'm in the process of handing off my prototype to developers. The issue we have encountered is when they are in the Spec View on the share site and are trying to get the spec details, they are unable to get any spec information from elements that are grouped. If items such as text, rectangles, lines, etc. are grouped in XD the spec information cannot be retrieved in the XD share site.The image below shows an example of a card that was grouped while I was designing in XD. Even though the "mark for export" check box was checked, the information for items inside of the card (text size, color, etc, spacing, color chip size, padding, and so on) cannot be retrieved on the XD Share site.Currently, I have to go back into the design, ungroup at least one item if there are many that are similar such as the image below, re-connect artboards if they were connected (i.e. a button), re-export, and let them know.Is there any way Adobe can make developer handoff easier and more user-friendly?

Hi, I am unable to find Adode XD on Creative Cloud. Any suggestions please?

As the title reads, if I have the misfortune of writing something in a text field or even attempt to double-click into a text field to edit when a cloud save happens, XD stops all responses from text inputs. The only way around this is to change tools willy nilly and re-try the text field, yet, that rarely helps as other tools also tend to bug out as well. Neither does waiting for the Cloud save to finish, if the bug happened prior. This issue has persisted for about a year now. Please please please someone tell me the community already knows this and how to avoid it? It can't be right that you have to instinctly react to the top "cloud save" indication and suddenly treat the keyboard as if it's glowing red hot? And if that's the case, could you perhaps develop an XD plugin that emits a huge flashing red triangle some time before the cloud save happens? Or would it just be better to never use anything cloud-related with XD?

Hi,I've lost the laptop that I was doing all my XD designs on and don't have a backup of my work.Is it possible to download the last instance I had uploaded to the Creative Cloud for comments from my stakeholders? I have the link/URL to it and can view it in the browser, but don't know if it is possible to download it to my computer.If not, I'll have to recreate weeks worth of work. Oh well!!!Would appreciate if anyone can give me some pointers.

Hello, I would like to create a team project so me and my collegue can work together with "Co-Editing". Unfortunately we can't add each other into our projects. The error message (after click on email) tells that we have no permission. But in Creative Cloud, we both show up as "added". What can we do? We both have installed the newest version of XD. I have a business licence and he has an individual licence, but that shouldn't be a problem, I guess? Thank you!   <Title renamed by moderator>

When I install a font from the My Adobe fonts UI they show up in the font list in PS, ID and Illu but not XD. Yet another XD font issue in addition to the ones we already have. OS is W10.

I created a cloud based XD document 1 week ago. I published it as a library, however none of my team or the people I share it with can open it, although it is set to allow them to edit the file. And now, neither can I open it. I can open the original file, but not the published file. I can open and edit older library files. But I have tried creating new library files and my colleages can not open and edit these either. I just bought my asus a week ago. The laptop comes with an offer 3-month membership of adobe creative cloud. I have redeemed the code to take that offer once. Yesterday my laptop had some problems so i tried recovering the window and redeemed the code after that. When i redeemed the code it said that this code hasalready been redeemed. I tried to find help on adobe help center but there is no detail solution for my problem. I couldnt find any real help from a person or an email to contact to adobe support.  

I am unable to open the 2 untitled documents seen in the attached screenshot. I have checked cloud files and they are not there either. I also tried looking in Application Support folders but did not see one in there for XD. I never closed XD and it didn't quit. I went back to XD after working in another program and my file as no longer open and now I can't open it. Unfortunately, I will lose hours of work if I can't find it. HELP!

HI! I would like to know if Adobe XD has the function to package all the assets used in a project. Similar to what Illustrator and Indesign do. Thank you!

Hi, so I have recently come across this problem where I invite my co-worker to a project a file to edit and colloborate but she gets a error message which says" You dont have permission to open this document. Contact the owner for access or check to see if you're logged in with the right account".I have invited her to edit and she is logged in wih the right account. This doesn't happen when she sends me an invite from her side. Please review the screenshot for reference.

I created my application GUI within Photoshop, I know how to import the contents into XD. The problem is,  that the buttons I created with their own (normal / hover) states already created. I can't seem to make them funcionable within XD. I have tried but can't get the normal / hover states to become active and work as I intended them too. I tried searching for that specific help but unable to located any for this particular thing.  I would be greatful if someone could either in detailed step by step, it doesn't matter if it's in text or video walkthrough. Thanks,NV

Hi there! I have been unable to export anything from Adobe XD for weeks. I've tried everything I could think of:-Uninstalling the application and reinstalling it completely. -Opening a new document. Nothing works! And to clarify: it's not an issue with file size or type. I was able to export these before without issues and the files are all very small. I am writing here as I have been trying to get in touch with Adobe support for the past 2 weeks and am unable to get in touch with anybody! They have no support email, the only way to reach out is via a chat that nobody ever takes! I've opened the chat 8 times and each time I am told "We'll connect you with an agent as soon as possible." but NOBODY ever gets connected! One time I left the chat open for 5 hours during work without getting a single reply!  

I have create new components in a child file, but when I move those components to the master library (because they are fresh and I want they to be part of my library from now), they don't replace the components of the child file. Instead, that is what happens: Now I have local components in my child file and new components in my library, but they are not related! That's right? I mean, now I will need to replace every local component manually to link to the new library component? That's bad because I draw those components and use they in A LOT of artbords in this child file... Can you help me, please?

A file seems to have dissapear from Creative Cloud. It doesn't show up in My Files or Deleted. I used this file only a few days ago so I'm completely sure it exist... Can anyone help me? 

I'm running the latest 43.0.12.14 ver of XD. On my project, the time trigger is not working on some artborads when playing through the entire project, but strangely it works fine if I just play from the artboard where the time trigger is set. That means the time trigger is set up correctly but is not triggered when played from previous artboards before it. I've never encountered this issue in previous versions of XD.   <Title renamed by moderator>

Hi Is there a way to import pdf in xd artboard so that it looks a seamless form. There is 8-9 page pdf checklist which i want in artboard   <Title renamed by moderator>

I created a path (border) in XD, then chose Object > Path and Outline Stroke is not there. The only choices are Add, Subtract, Intersect, Exclude Overlap, and Convert to Path. And these are grayed back an inaccessable. I'm very familiar with Illustrator but new to XD. What am I missing? 

Using Adobe XD, is there a way to add a 'fixed position when scrolling' to a button, that stops being fixed when reaching a certain point of the artboard? (For example, Spotify Apps "Shuffle Play Button" will scroll until it reaches the top of the page where it then becomes fixed) Appreciate any help 🙏
