Subject: PC Freezing/Blank Screen with Beeps During Adobe Use? Hi, The buttons of minimize, maximize and close buttons are too small in After Effects at MacBook.I have Adobe XD and the sizes of minimize, maximize and close buttons are normal, like in all windows of my computer.I'm annoyed because it is happens only in After Effects.Here is a picture of how it is Here is a picture of how it is NORMAL.  See the difference? It's not a problem of resolution of my computer, I already tried this.I also uninstalled and installed again, and didn't worked.I restarted my computer and didn't worked either. Can somebody help me please? Thank you!

I am making a kinetic typography video on my mac using the latest (2017) version of after effects. I imported my audio file (which is 2mins long) and when i hit the spacebar to preview the sound this little green bar started loading across the top of my timeline then just stopped after about 5 seconds. Now, when i try to preview it it plays fine for the first five seconds and when it reaches the end of the green bar it just starts over? Now I can't listen to the rest of my audio to time out when my words should appear!

Using the bodymovin plugin to export JSONWhen I exclude the rasterized images there is no problem with the .JSON. But when I try to include a small jpg  the render fails.  I have the setting enabled to include images. I tried even smaller sizes (down to 10kb), PNG's and I tried saving for web in Photoshop. Any ideas?

it looks great in AE Program Monitor but as soon as I export the video it has some weird parts which are completely destroyed in quality and half blurred, Il try to post a pictures of both examples below, with an without halftone.The brighter image is with halftone and the one is not, you will clearly see what I mean by quality being destroyed after aplying the effect..I really like the look the halftone gives to your footage, and I would really like to use it in future projects.. (also, I've tried exporting only with halftone layer on, all other adjustment layers off (noise, glow etc..) and it still gives the same bad result, whole footage destroyed.. Im working in a 4k sequence 32bpc and export at 15bitrate. Please help..

Hi there,Is there any way to get your H.264 exports color managed based on the project settings within after effects? Or are there any good export formats from adobe media encoder which don't mess around with colors?A bit of background info.. I'm exporting a piece of small motion graphics with a solid red background color which is my client's brand color (#dc1e35.)I'm using the H.264 format from Adobe Media Encoder and the result is something visually flatter and more desaturated.If I render from within after effects using QuickTime, the color is correct.I'm trying to share the files with people for sign off and the MP4 file is 15MB, easy to email but is the wrong color. The MOV file is 400MB so it cannot be emailed but is the correct color.I have opened both files in photoshop, using the eyedropper the MOV file color is exactly what I specified (#dc1e35), but the MP4 is not, it is #dd2a41.Thank you

Hi! I've reinstalled after effects after having to reinstall windows 11, and now, every time I open a file, send a comp to the render queue or try to save the project, a warning pops up: "After Effects warning: could not rename the file" (screenshot below). Before having to do this, everything was working just fine. I already tried to run it as administrator, change permissions on both, after effects folder and preferences folder, and even completely uninstalled all adobe apps, including the creative cloud app, removing every trace they left, and reinstall everything again. I still get this warning. Can someone help me please? It's a little annoying to get this warning pop-up all the time.

It says i need to have certain plugins to use, when i try to download these plugins, it says i have to pay a lot of money for them, i was wondering if theres a way i can do this without having to do that. The new native OCIO color management in After Effects works great for me - but only if I export using the Render Que, where I can control the final Output Color Space using Color Tab of the Output Module.  This allows me to export my ACES footage as ACES/sRGB (olor_picking: Output - sRGB and Output/Output - sRGB options also work).  Using that export setting makes my exported footage match my working settings in After Effects using the OCIO ACES color management. But I see no way of doing this in Media Encoder.  The footage is always exported way too dark.  And the only output color options I see are greyed out. See screenshot. I am using macOS 12.6.3

I'm new to After Effects. I downloaded various templates from the Envato site, but when I import the AEP file into After Effects, I can't view it correctly. I get an error message relating to many files missing within the composition and what I see when I click on the rendering or on the individual level files is a box with many colored vertical stripes that move jerkily. Only the text appears correctly. Can anyone tell me why?

I'm working on a Premiere project that I started in 24.x and because Media Encoder was updated to 25.1, the dynamic linking broke and I had to update Premiere as well, and then AE.So now everything's on 25.1, and so every time I go back and use Edit Original in Premiere to open the AE composition, once AE has opened it asks me to save the AE project. It then forgets that it's saved that project, so it keeps opening the original converted one. As an example, I've just opened the project "Project (converted).aep" using Edit Original and because it demanded I save it, I saved it to "Project (converted) v3.aep". If I now close AE, when I reopen the project it will reopen "Project (converted).aep" and not "Project (converted) v3.aep" - and ask me to save it. I've tried resetting AE's preferences, and it hasn't fixed it. Any ideas?

Hi! I can't figure out how to get this radiating aura line effect on a moving figure. Image below of the intended effect. I've gotten partway there by using radio waves on a mask shape, but the lines don't radiate evenly on all directions. Any advice? Have combed through many youtube videos, can't really find any examples of this but seems like it should be doable!! Thanks 🙂

Hi. I have some transpiled code ftom typescript to JavaScript ES3, with his corresponding sourceMaps. Is it posible to use this sourceMaps to exeute the breakpoitnts of the ExtendScript Debugger on the typescript code, instead of in the transpiled code? If not, is there any workarround to accomplish this?

I have been editing clips from my Panasonic SDR S26 and realised the right side is being cropped out of all the footage in AE. I have tried different composition and interpret footage settings and I'm really stuck. Would appreciate any help. The files are .mpgs and when I open them in quicktime they are squished but the whole frame is included, so I know that the right side of the footage is there. I've provided a couple of images but if you need any more info please let me know.

Hi all, ~ 2 years ago i wrote a script for AE which was accessing any property in the EP group which had a text value and then it woudl do something to it. Which tells me there is a TextDocument object there. Hello, its been a months when i use dynamic link in premiere pro, and open AE to do some work, even if i dont do ANYTHING, it starts using more and more of ram till it crashes the AE & PR by showing RAM errorsi have 12700k\3080ti\32 gb ddr5 ram and mu drivers are up to date!AE works fine by it self! this happens only when i use dynamic linkim using 2025 version, ive tried 2024 version, same result!!! its been a month and i wonder why!pls help!
