After Effects

Hallo, seit dem heutigen Update auf Version 25.2.0,ist es leider nicht mehr möglich mit *.rpf Files zu arbeiten. Ich kann die Files wie gewohnt, ganz normal importieren,aber sobald ich die ID Maske der Files verwenden möchte,stürzt After Effects sofort ab. Dies ist auch unabhängig vom Betriebssystem,weil ich das Problem unter Win10 und Win 11 habe.

I wasted 2 hours on tech support in India today and wanted to see if anyone know how to solve this issue.  A layer is not selected. I create a path. I want to annimate this path. The bug is you can not just change the size of the stroke. I put all sorts of numbers in and thge size does not change. I absolutely dont want to fill the line because it gives me crazy shapes. Asos, after you create the vectored path, you can not locate he stroke and fill options anywhere. 

I've tried exporting both as mp4 and mov. I have the noise effect on both a text and video layer. Neither of them are showing up in the export. Both the effects are toggled on, and I can see them when I playback the timeline. As it's rendering, the noise effects vanish and aren't in the exported final. Any idea what the issue could be? 

HiI try to import layers made in Illustrator into After Effects.I released to layers sequence in illustrator and after import an AI file in AE.It works well except my colors become white. No colors at all…I'm in RGB mode in Illustrator. ThanksS

Bonjour,Je travaille sur un projet video très simple sur AE (fullHD pour insta, rien de compliqué ni de gourmand en resource) mais AE crash systématiquement au moment pdt les preview RAM (en resolution demi à 50% de la taille, je ne peux même pas faire de preview integrale à 100%).Il semblerait que le probleme ne se produise pas quand je n'ai pas de fichier video dans mon projet.Le crash est etrange, je peux cliquer sur l'interface, mais elle ne réagit plus et je ne peux pas fermer le projet sans hardReboot via le finder.J'ai deja reinitilisé les prefs de multiples fois et autorisé l'accès complet au disque comme on le recommande pour Sequoia mais rien n'y fait.Merci d'avance pour votre aide ! Informations matériel :  Nom du modèle : MacBook Pro  Identifiant du modèle : Mac16,6  N° du modèle : Z1FG000MQFN/A  Puce : Apple M4 Max  Nombre total de cœurs : 16 (12 performance et 4 efficacité)  Mémoire : 128 Go  Versi

Hi I'm having trouble rotobrushing  when I try to remove nothing happens? The video looks rendered so I am not sure why its not removing

so i'm using after effects 2025 and everytime i try to turn png into 3d it goes allright but when i try to render that comp it always crashes like don't render and doesn't even preview the composition it stops at that. I'm stuck at this please someone help me if anyone has solved it.Thanks a bunch

I recently switched from MacOS to Windows. My new Setup is alot better than my old one. Yet the AE player is lagging. It runs on very low fps maybe like 5 fps even with very small animations. I know it isnt a Hardware problem and i can't seem to get it fixxed. Ive tried alot of Youtube tutorials but nothing helped. Ive linked a Video to what it looks like. Please help.

I made a looped animation. How do I export it to use later? There are also some adjustable variables, I want to be able to change them in Premiere Pro.

I downloaded VideoCopilot's Color Vibrance (v1.0.6) and VC Reflect (rev14), and both .zip folders came with just .aex files (as well as some data for MacOS, which isn't relevant to me, as I'm on Windows 10). I can't make AfterEffects open the .aex files, nor can I use the Bridge to install them. I'm lost, since VC Saber was also a .aex, and that installed just fine? Is there something I'm not doing right? I keep finding many conflicting tutorials. There were no .jsx or .jsxbin files in the .zip folders, either. Just .aex files and MacOS-relevant folders/files. 

Breaking down three different ways to control the visibility of layers by adding an expression to the opacity property. All three methods provide you with easy to apply transitions.   Fade based on position keyframe The first example is controlling when a layer shows up so that you can quickly highlight part of the screen just by setting the position.   Fade based on in-point and out-point When you add a layer to your timeline, have it fade in and fade out without setting keyframes, just let the in- and out-points be the trigger.   Fade in and out by layer marker  Imagine you want to set a layer to appear, then disappear repeatedly. With this example, I use even numbered layer markers to trigger the opacity to go from 0% to 100% and odd numbered markers to do the opposite. Working out which is odd and which is even is incredibly simple, thanks to the remainder operator (%), but don't worry if you're unfamiliar with that, I break down how it works.  

Where could I download Keylight_1.2_AE.pdf as mine has been removed due to a crash on my AE, I have been struggling to find where to download the plugin ever since. It won't show up on my Effect manager either.

Hi, I want to animate the path of the Cell according to the null's position. Is there any way I can do that? I dnt wanna do it manually for losing the synchronicity or rythm. I wanna match the path movement animation extactly according to the null animation. when The null is away the cell should be a bit bigger in scale and when the null is  compressed the path should be small. I tried connecting path's scale property  with null's scale. the result is psychotic. Please help me. Please.  

hi there,  im having a problem importing a simple PNG sequence into after effects, it keeps coming up with this error and i have no idea of how to resolve it. ive looked at a lot of tutorials and have tried changing the names of each png files but still nothing is working. Help!!

Hi, I am trying to do an extremely simple animation of a single line drawing from Illustrator. I have figured out to do it when I use the pen tool (Image A)- however I would prefer to use lines created drawing freestyle. However when I import a freestyle line to After effects, it does not register the correct path. Is there any easy way to fix this? Image A Image B  

Hi, im Viplexity. Recently, I wanted to start live streaming myself whilst I animate with Adobe After Effects (2019) with the application "StreamLabs OBS". Everything works well except for the fact that the workspace panel in After Effects doesn't show up on stream. Every other panel appears EXCEPT for the workspace panel and I have no clue why. That's the panel that is needed most for display so that the audience can see what i'm animating and how i'm doing it. I've contacted an Adobe employee and they didn't know how to fix it and directed me here to ask one of you for an answer. The streaming program isn't the issue because it works just fine with Sony Vegas and other programs. My Adobe programs are the only ones having this issue (This happens with Photoshop as well but I don't plan on streaming Photoshop). @

Hello. I'm building a script UI panel as part of an extension that involves keyboard controls. I believe I've encountered a fundamental bug with the .preventDefault function/method, at least when assigned as an event listener to an edittext control object. In short, it only works on Mac—the method appears to be non-functional on Windows. I've built a stripped-down derivative of the script I'm building that you can use to reproduce this bug at will. After effects 2019 - why can't i see the percentage, I'm trying to keyframe the opacity but there is no Percentage to control it

My timeline section is too small. As you can see inn the photo, the actuall timeline space to the down right is very small, and i want to extend it to the left. but just draging it further to the left is not an option.This happened after connecting my macbook to an external monitor. Does anyone know how to fix it?- thanks 

I'm fairly new to AE. I'm trying to create a vertical text scroll animation in After Effects where lines scroll up and when a specific line reaches the center, it juts to the right. I want to control the scroll with a null and possibly use parenting - I'ma bit lost with it all. Any advice on structure? Should I precomp all lines? Use a second null for juting out ?  Please see reference attached.  Thanks you!
