Hello Community!I have been editing this video. I have a lot of shots, I use graphics and additional videos and I get that ad. I already set up the preferences and expanded the RAM. What other things do you recommend I can do and how can I export in good quality and low weight?.Thanks for your help! I appreciate it.

Hello,I have an affect effects file, on this file I have a text box with a name.I want to change the name to "Stephen", then add it to the render queue, and then change the name to "Jamie", then add that to the render queue and so on until I have 50 different names in the render queue. And then click "render" so I can leave my PC running and it renders all 50. How do I do this? (When I add each one to the render queue and start the render, it only creates files for the last name I entered and not each name. I.e. it creates 50 files but all with the same name, enough I changed the name on each before adding each to the render queue). TIA

I know this is an old topic, but I can't find anybody talking about this specific one: CONTEXT AND MY ALL LIFE WORKFLOWLet's imagine I need to export my video in H.264 mp4 because I need them to be a small file. In order to do this, my workflow that I've been using without a problem was: Pre-render in After Effects, changing the video output module to Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Clicking the "Queue in AME" button, then once it's added on the Media Encoder Queue, I check if the format is H.264, and that the setting is "Match source High Bitrate". Then I click the play button. I've been doing this the exact same way for almost all of my projects. Obviously by doing an mp4 colors tend to change a bit, but they never was too serious.THE PROBLEMSo everything was fine until today. I exported my mp4 file as I used to and was ready to send the material when I noticed the huge change in my colors. I had my After effects project opened, so I placed my Quicktime Player window next to the After Effe

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew any tools that would do lip sync in a particular way for me. I want a puppet effect so the mouth just opens and shuts like an old wooden puppet, roughly in time with the speech.I've tried a few AI tools but they try to be too realistic and the video needs to be longer than they can do. I've been using AE for over a decade now and can't remember ever having this issue. After finishing a project, I will reduce, consolidate, collect, etc. in order to archive the project for storage. Currently, the latest version of AE 18.4.0 Build 41 running on MacOSX 10.15.7. I have noticed when relinking footage placed in a new folder, all footage types will be located automatically once the first project file has been located... except for MP4s. Excuse me, but what? I can't be the only one that has decided to rename a footage folder before, used "replace footage" on a single PNG for example, and seen all other footage be found and updated to the newly renamed folder. Well, normally this would grab all footage files, including MP4s. Now, let's say I change the MP4 location back to the original recorded in the file, and I click "Reload Footage"... well, that too will fail. A dialog box says the footage is not at the very location that it is at. The only way to restore the footage is to

hi, i have a problem. When i use after effects 2024 it uses all the ram while nothing is happening and it gives me the low memory warning. And when i want to cache before playback it stops almost imminently and it doesnt matter where i want to cache before playback, it always stops. i also have when i restart the laptop and start after effects it gives me the low memory warning while i have no other apps open.I uploaded a image where you can see i only have a video, no effects or anything, and it doesnt want to play.i already cleared cache and i did that after effects uses 24/32 gb rami use after effects 2024and i have a macbook m1 pro 14 inch with 32 gbs ram  could anyone help me?

Hey recently i see a tutorial video which is about digital pixelated logo reveal but i have a doubt i use a square to reveal the logo by using alpha mat and the add turbulant displace and mosiac effect , then pre compose that layer and when i use a duplicate of that layer as alpha invert map the whole logo should be hide but the pixelated box are visiable why?

I would like to animate an object in varying, smooth orientations to give the illusion of going forward along a path, reversing along a path without turning around, and going forward once again.Here is an image to better illustrate things.I know how to do step 1. Simply animate along a path with orientation along the path. The tricky part for me is step 2. I would like the object to go in reverse without turning around for a while, then going forward again at some point (step 3) just like before.Any suggestions?

After effects program fades the colors of the last two videos. What is the reason? How can I fix it? Both versions of the videos are raw. One is opened in the program and the other in the mp4 application.

HiI'm trying to create a file that pulls groups of names from an Excel file (which I converted to JSON) and randomly scatters the group of names across the screen and every 5 seconds swaps and scatters the names of the next group of names.My problem right now is that I don't understand how to do different animations for different words within a single text layer.One solution I found is to make each word be on a separate layer using a script. The problem with this is that I have a file with 1325 names and I assume 1325 layers will crash my software. If anyone knows how to do this correctly, I would be very grateful! 🙏 (The number of names in each round varies from 1 to 79)

I have a Cinema4d animation: a Formula object whose Y(t) parameter changes along with frame number with Expresso and a small Python script. Rendering works correctly in Cinema4d but during rendering with After Effect V2025 the Y(t) is not changing. Here are the relevant pieces of information.Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I just launched After Effects again for the first time in a couple months just to make a very quick and basic edit. Unfortunately whenever I create a composition the window just won't update and when I resize it just goes haywire. Moving the window around to different parts of AE doesn't fix the problem, neither does restarting the program or my computer. Reinstalling to a different drive didn't change anything. What's in the composition doesn't seem to matter, I've tried it at full res, low res, even with an empty comp and the problem is exactly the same. I checked my hardware and everything is fine, nothing is being throttle, overheated, etc.

Hi, I need some help here. I'm not so sure what I'm doing wrong.Here are my steps:1) Click on Camera tracker, waited for the footage to be tracked.2) Selected 3 points on a surface, created a null and camera.3) Placed a Polaroid picture in timeline as another layer, made it 3DHowever, the Polaroid does not track.4) Removed Polaroid picture from timeline.5) Clicked on Null layer in the timeline and realised that the null was not tracking but stationary throughout the clip.I've tried pre-composing the footage and it still does not work. Most of the tracking points looks good and fixed on my footage.My footage is the opening of a door revealing a baby crib and a bunch of stuffed toys in the room. There are no tracking points on the door. Please advise!

Under certain conditions, AE 25.01 is not auto-saving.When starting a new project in 25.01, auto-save works fine. However, when I open a project created in version 24 in 25.01, auto-save does not work.Here are the methods I’ve tried:Changed the auto-save interval to 1, 3, and 10 minutesSaved the project after loading a version 24 project in various ways: overwriting the file, saving under a new name, and saving as version 24xChanged the save location from the project folder to a specified folderEnabled save when starting the render queueDespite these attempts, it seems that no auto-save folder is created, and auto-save does not work.I accidentally deleted a composition, realized it a few minutes later, and couldn’t retrieve it, which was very frustrating. Quand je crée une composition avec un fond (rose par exemple), dans la prévisualisation il y a juste un fond noir qui prend l'enssemble de la taille de cette fenêtre. Je ne comprend pas, je n'ai rien fait et meme en installant et réinstallant rien ne change. So I'm trying to morph a boxy circle shape into a circle. However, when copying the shape from Illustrator, this happens ↓. Even though the points are very close to the points of the other shape After Effects still reads them incorrectly.I tried rotating the circle, but it wouldn't help.Is there anything I can do other than editing morphing manually? 

Hi.So, latest version, updated and all that.CPU i5-11400F @2.60GHZ32GB RAMGPU AMD Radeon RX 6800 I opened an old file, which with my old configuration was running super smooth, it only took about 30 seconds to render a 6 sec. logo opener with some particle effects in it.Old configuration:CPU: i5-66016GB RAMOnBoard GPU Right now, CPU is 100% when rendering, drops down to 50, then spikes to 100, then drops down again, so on.. Same file on old configuration was rendering super smooth and didn't abuse the CPU like this.I updated everything, I pre-comped some complex effects (althought the same effects on old configuration were running super smooth), still having the same problem.Any ideas anyone?Thanks.
