  shape disappear when i click 3d in the rendar 3d advanced

I want to add comps into other comps in sequence, so that "each clip starts where the previous clip ends." I tried using the "Creating a Comp with Clips" block, and while it works sometimes, it doesn't always work for my case.All my comps are in the same bin. Is it possible to add these comps into another comp in sequence?Thanks in advance!

Olá,estava fazendo a animação deste personagem e quando vou olhar no preview, ele começa a cortar as partes que eu mostro na imagem,porém ao entrar no arquivo da pre-compose ele fica normal ? Como posso resolver isso ? Seria um bug ? 

I clicked on the "continously rasterize" but still nothing. It worked before, but now no.. I restarted by placing my assets folder in again and my character is walking, so the animation is perfect. Just the pixelation when I zoom in. I also made it 3D layer for the camera to still if that would help but no.

I'm having a repeat, and incredibly annoying bug happen with the latest AE.  I'm working in a particularly complex project, plenty of EXR passes, Particular, optical flares, RSMB, etc going on. It takes a long time to render (no problem there, that is as expected). When I RAM preview comps in it and then hit escape to stop RAM previewing, as it has taken so long to RAM preview the Autosave function kicks in straight away. Instead of Autosaving the autosave box pops up, completely greyed out and then AE just hangs there for eternity, meaning that I have to kill AE via the Task Manager and restart it - losing both my project progress and RAM preview progress (that may have taken 20-60 minutes to do). I don't particularly want to have to turn autosave off everytime I do a lengthy RAM preview. Also, when rendering the composite out via the Render Queue I'm having it hang on me when I cancel it there, also meaning that I have to restart AE. Please get this fixed!&nb

Hi everyone,  I don't know if the question was already posted in another topic, but I've got a font issue when i recently updated the last version of AE 25.1. for exemple Poppins font was already installed in my computer for a long time ago and whenever I open this last version of AE, in the font panel i can see that [poppins-type1] something like that, and on my screen, effectively my text layer doesn't display poppins, but another font. Is someone got the same issue recently ? What would be the solution ? Thank you very much the community

I've made a simple MOGRT without any adjustment possiblities - it's just a simple way for others to add a logo in the corner.Made it with responsive design - time with intro and outro just to be able to adjust the lengt by dragging the box in Premiere. But somehow when imported into Premiere both Transform and Crop are possible to adjust! Any tips on how to export without these two...?!   

Good day I'm using AE 2025 with Roto brush 3.0. No matter which clip I select, if I use Roto at the beginning of the clip, it works fine, if I start my roto at, let's say 2 seconds, it selects the entire video / layer. AFAIK it is possible to start roto in the middle of the clip and not just at the beginning, or am I missing something here? Thanks

Hi.  I am using the new Content-Aware Fill feature to remove a small section of a video.  The Analyze footage step goes fairly quickly, but the rendering step is taking hours and hours and hours...The footage I am using is 4K60 and the clip itself is only about 16 seconds long.  It has been rendering for at least 12 hours now (!!!) and is still only on frame 543 of 996.I am using a 2018 iMac (Core i7@4,2GHz) with 40GB RAM.  I have been watching the activity monitor off and on and the CPU usage for the AE process is very low (5-10%).I have tried searching the Forum and other sources but have been unable to find others that are having the same issue or any suggestions as to what I can do to improve things.  Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated!

I worked on an imported video just fine yesterday, and sent it to render queue. Today, I created a new project and imported a nested Premiere clip into After Effects, by using file > Adobe Dynamic Link > Import Premiere Pro Sequence. The vide shows up fine as "filename/filename.pproj", so I drag it down to the icon to create a new composition. The composition appears, with nothing but a blank black screen. I've already updated both Premiere and AE to the latest 25.1 versions. I've already cleared ALL cache, closed the app and tried again - but still nothing appears. I even made sure everything is set to Rec. 2100 HLG on both sides.

Hi, I’d like to ask for some advice. I’ve received a set of videos shot on an iPhone 15 Pro in HDR. However, after importing them into After Effects, the overall color quality of these videos has worsened. I understand that my computer operates in SDR mode. To address this, I tried adjusting the color profile in Project Settings > Color and Interpret Footage > Color in AE. Despite trying many options, the video still doesn’t display acceptable colors. Interestingly, when I import the video into CapCut and simply re-export it, the colors match those from the iPhone. Could anyone advise me on which profile to set in AE to fix this?

Hi, I am new into 3d tracking, i am making a scene using 3d tracker using some yt tutorials.Let's suppose there is a scene, used 3d tracker on it, selected some point and then used "create solid and camera" option. But the my doubt is some youtubers are copying the position property of that solid and are pasting it to the asset which we want in the scene while some are using parenting feature in which they link asset to the solid layer with a pick whip while pressing shift, so which one is better to get a smooth result, because when i use copy method i see that asset moves a little bit as camera moves in scene but sometimes it works same as the parenting method.

I've done everything through the After Effects CC 2020 program. I am using Windows 10. And I never deleted the codec or the Quick time player. However an error occurred while I was rendering through Adobe Media Encoder So I ran the after effect. And found an error message. "After Effects error: the source compression type is not supported (86 :: 1)" "After Effects error: file '# 2 snow BG.mp4" cannot be imported? this '.mp4' file is damaged or unsupported. "After Effects error : Could not open source file. Please check that file exists with correct permissions. (86 ::1 )"About 20 types of error messages have been found I tried various methods because I could not understand, but failed. 1. All auto saved files have the same symptom. 2. Importing the source again produces the same error. 3. After importing the new After Effects, there is no problem. I had done everything. Suddenly this happened to me. I want to cry The project is no longer able to proceed. I need great help,

Hi community. Ive noticed when using shapes, and adding a stroke, the stroke never sits pixel perfect. Is there a way to make it crisp, without one pixel looking as if it has half pixel? No stroke applied to the shapes. and still half pixels are visible.     1 pixel strokes applied to the shapes. results in more visible half pixels.  This would be the ideal solution to be pixel perfect like photoshop.   Thank you. 

How do I create a rectangle of my desired size/shape and position as a Shape Layer then convert it to an editable Path?

Hello community, hoping someone can help me with a small issue, but that has been driving me really crazy. After Effects always defaults any new file I create to an old project location. Both when I first click Save As, as when I try and render, it always goes to this obscure folder. I'm used to After Effects trying to create a new project in the C:\Users...Adobe\After Effects folder and then navigating over. But this hasn't been the behaviour for the last 6+ months. To exacerbate the issue, when I open a project from the Recents splash screen and then upres to a new version, I expect this new save to happen in the same folder I'm operating in, but instead of that, it goes to that one project folder. Same with rendering, when I queue something up, I expect it to want to render it next to where my file lives. Nope, each time it just wants to throw everything into that old folder. Is there any workaround to this? I don't seem to be able to find a setting for default saves. Just

I just updated my After Effects to version 14.2.0.198, and unfortunely "ae_force_english.txt" in "%userprofile%\documents" does not work (Windows 10 pro 64-bit).Is there any method to solve this problem without reinstall. I need to use Afterfx in English and other applications in Chinese. It's quite a bad experience to change my language in the settings every time I update my software.

When turned on, draft 3d feature makes after effects closes each time when that project file is opened. It says "Before quitting, you have one chance to save your project" and after I save it, it closes itself. Doesnt happen when I open the file while holding Ctrl, but after releasing Ctrl it happens again.After effects is not saying the software is crashed either. It just automatically closes itself for no reason.What could be causing this?Version: 24.6.4Graphics card: rtx 3060available ram for after effects: 24 gbProcessor: not that good

Why does AE take 63 hours to render?? Am I just supposed to wait for more than 2 days for a 20-30 second edit?😭🙏

After effects keeps crashing. I'm using the latest version, booting in safe mode, resetting settings, but it doesn't work. I've updated the Nvidia graphics card and bios, I've turned off the login screen, I've deleted and reinstalled, but it's still not fixed.My computer13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900HX 2.20 GHzRam 32.0 GBWin 11 pro 24H2Geforce RTX 4070

When moving the Canvas, it drags behind my cursor and its really irritatingly slow and laggy. This isnt happening on any other Adobe App and when reverting to an older Version of AE its not happening either. Ive tried uninstalling the App, clearing cache and nothing is working. When working on my less powerful MacBook im not experiencing any lag. What is going on??
