Hi,I’m using an AE template as I’m a beginner on Aftereffects. I have two questions. (https://elements.envato.com/company-timeline-BSB8H6X) I’m extending some of the scenes to allow for more content and a longer video. When I extend the various scene compositions, I can move the ‘out’ animation key frames no problem.  However there seems to be a opacity or dimming effect that simultaneously affecting a number of layers that I just can’t seem to find? When I go to effects control of the Control layer which includes universal branding like colours of universal assets, I don’t see anything controlling the strange dimming?  Can anyone tell me what to check that may be causing this to affect so many layers?  2. There is also a strange tinting affecting some images inside compositions that I cannot see how to turn off. Where should I be looking to troubleshoot? Attached is an image of the blue toning on a color image, which I'd like to get rid of.

I've spent the better half of the day trying export a file with transparency. Please help! Preparing the file for exportI've toggled on AE's Transparency Grid to see the checkered background.I've also changed the composition's background color within Composition Settings to be a magenta color, just to make sure it's not exporting the background.  ExportAfter adding to Render Queue, I select 'RGB + Alpha' and 'ProRes 4444' (also tried 'Animation'), but the exported file always shows a solid black background and no transparency. I also noticed that AE doesn't preserve the 'RGB + Alpha' channel setting (when looking at the settings after the finalized export in Render Queue) unless I select the Color to be 'Straight (Unmatted).'Adding to Media Encoder, I do the same process, essentially: I choose 'Quicktime' and then 'Apple ProRes 4444 with alpha'Usually, I deselect 'Export Audio', sometimes I select 'Match Source' and/or 'Use Maximum Render Quality' or none of those. hey, how are you?  Could you help me with advice on how to make in after effects the vector art not be blurred? I already have tried collapse transformation. This did not happen to me before 😞the project is at 4k and 60 fps

It would be very useful if After Effects had the ability to migrate plugins, presets, and scripts with each version upgrade. Right now, I have to go back to my 2021 version, find the missing 3rd party add ons, and copy them over to their place in AE 2022. Each copy requires I enter the admin password on my Mac. It's not just 3 times, because each of these folders have subfolders, so it ends up being 12 times. Plus I have the uncertainty of wondering if I found and copied all the pieces.

Hello everyone, i made a beautiful text/Foto effect in AE using scale, position and other effects like wiggle and transform etc.I am using it on my AE Projects, each time i need a motion, i copy all the settings and paste them to the new layer and modify the keyframes positions to the lenght of the new element, i do that almost 50 times (for texts and images) each time and it's really a pain in the neck.I tried to create a graphic using Essential graphic tool and tried to use it on Premiere (i like more working on Premiere), but the problem is that when i try to increase the lengh of the new element it doesn't extend.I just want to find a solution on how to create a graphic template (or any usable type that i don't know) for my text/images animation from AE to use it in Premiere pro, but with the ability to adjust its lenght, and it must be somehow proportional, i will give an example:my animation contains a bouncing effect using scale keyframes at the beginning(appears) and at th

I am running the latest version of after effects and Premiere on this machine. I have been working between the two editiing a music video but mostly in after effects. My media Cache goes to one 4tb sandisk ssd while my footage is on another identical drive. I have edited the entire video, but now I have to color it and and titles. It craahses anytime I do any thing extra. when I try to color it it crashes. so I took the color out and tried to work on the titles and it started to act a little better, though still sluggish. but the more I do is the more it crashes. please help

We are editing a documentary in premiere for broadcast in europe - so we use an interlaced timeline. (1080p 50i - or 25i if you want)..I have an after-effects-template for the animation of the start and the credits at the end - but the after effects project is 25p.Playback of the animation in after effects is fine - the text moves smoothly as expected. But when I link the animation to premiere via dynamic link, the text still moves smoothly but additionally performs one big jump back and forth after a few seconds. It looks like there is a keyframe is wrong or missing. Could it be that there is something happening between those frames?How can I check?Is it possible to set my after effects composition to interlaced so I can see those issues?

Hey there, i though it was something simple, but I cant really figure out why is acting like this. I want to put text on a circle path but is taking only a quarter of that path even when I add extra text, it acts like this with other shapes 

HelloI've created an MOrgrt file in Ae but in Pr the slider controls that control the animation of the text can't be keyframed. I'm attaching a screen-recording for better visualisation of my problem.How do I add keyframes on the places where I want the animation to be?Please help thanks

so i have 8gb ram pc without nvidia graphicswhen i m rendering , it usually takes 30 min to 2-3 hrs to finishi even export it in quicktime , the video is usually about 30sec to 1 minidk why it takes that much amount of timecan someone help me render my video faster ? 

I've noticed that a lot of After Effects animators on youtube recommend applying a 12 fps posterize time effect in a 24 fps After Effects composition. Why not just set the composition settings to 12fps, why use a posterize time effect of 12 fps within a 24 fps comp? Thank you very much in advance to anyone who can clarify this for me. 

Is anyone else getting consistent crashes when using the extractor of exr files? Happening on multiple pcs all with the latest Windows 10, Nvidia drivers, and the latest AE.

Hello there !! Can someone explain me how to add the preloader in my index.html file that will work in AfterEffect ?For now i have working html page in Chrome . Everything is OK, preloader is working like i need. But when i try to run this as a extention, my preload just doesnt show... 

Hi,I wondering how to collapse or show a certain transform property for a layer though scritpting in after effects, for example how to show opacity property like if i hit the (T) from keyboard or position (P)?

I just updated my After Effects to 23.1.0. I want to use an adjustment layer as the track matte for my text layers but, when I go to the pulldown list in the track matte mode the adjustment layer is gray. I can select any other layer in the project to serve as the matte except my adjustment layer. Can anyone in this community give me some advice please?

Hi!I have been tasked to try and learn After Effects and make a moving illustration of a saxophonist.I have not tried AE before, and I am trying to follow tutorials, but it gets really hard to proceed when I stumble at the very first thing I need to do!:Create Shapes from Vector Layer > And then a select few shapes goes invisible! They are not white, I've checked.Why does this happen? The very first time I did it, it worked, but the size of everything was wrong so I changed it in Illustrator and started over again in AE, but now with this problem. What in the world is going on here?

cant seem to find the control for trim path start and end in the new panel update and not showing in the timeline!
