After Effects

Hallo,ich versuche gerade den Page Turn Effekt anzuwenden und scheitere schon daran, dass beim Umblättern von rechts unten nach links die "linke" Seite nicht angezeigt wird. Das heißt sobald ich beim Umblättern die linke Kante der umgeblätterten Seite überschreite wird die Rückseite, die ja dann links zu sehen sein soll, abgeschnitten.Blöd zu beschreiben. Ich füge deshalb hier mal einen Screenshot bei, auf das hoffentlich deutlicher wird.Welche Einstellung oder Parameter oder sonstwas ist dafür verantwortlich und wo finde ich diesen?Ich bin schon total verzweifelt, dass ich das nicht hinbekomme, und würde mich riesig über entsprechende Hinweise freuen!Danke schon mal dafür.Pete

I'm looking for a new computer for film editing in After Effects:*Do I need an i7 processor or can an i5 processor run 3D effects and more without any problems?*Is 8gb of RAM enough or sould I go for 16gb of RAM?*Can I run 3D effects and more without problems with GeForce GTX 760 2gb?I've got the version of AE called "After Effects CC 2015" and I may going to uppgrade in the feuture.It's also possible that I'm going to buy Photoshop...Thanks for answers!

Hey people, so my friend (Mac) just started using AE and her clips are permanently slowed down. When she looks at them from her media player the file is perfectly fine but as soon as she drags it into AE it's just slowed down. I'm editing on ae since, like, 2022 (Windows) but I've never had that issue before. Btw I don't mean the audio playblack glitch (when it's not fully rendered yet) by slowed down. It's just permanently on slow mode. We still don't know what to do. Thanks

I currently have a MacBook Pro 15 inch 2019 with a 2.3 GHz 8-core Intel Core i9 and 32GB of RAM. I've been experiencing a lot of lag in rendering in After Effects, and am considering getting a new machine. I'm open to Mac Mini's or iMacs, as I don't need a laptop on the road anymore.  The other programs I work in are Premiere Pro and Photoshop.  Interested to hear suggestions.

I've used After Effects for a while now to export H.264 .mp4 videos, which I then place into PowerPoint.In the last week or so, I'm getting an error when I try to play the video (in PPT), saying: "Codec Unavailable". I haven't changed the way I do things, I've tried to export multiple videos and place in multiple PPTs - no luck. Now I know this might be a PPT issue, but on the off chance it's an AE issue, I thought I'd post and see what the intelligent folks on the Community forum might have to say!

Hi thereit was working normally but suddenly every time I play the timeline to preview i only hear the sound but the video is freezed, I cleared the cache checked my settings and reinstalled after effects my PC  i7 12700H 40GB Ram  RTX 3070 and using after effects 2024

Dear community I really don't know how to figure out the problem since I updated AE and ME 2023 and then to 2024. Rendering the queue in AE and media encoder too, is really impossible because it is too slow, taking more than 8 hrs for 3 min video. I've a powerful pc:Processore 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700KF   3.40 GHzRAM installata 64,0 GB (63,8 GB utilizzabile)Nvidia Geforce msi 4070Sistema operativo a 64 bit, processore basato su x64windows home 10.I'm wondering if any of you found a solution, thanks in advance, Chiara 

how can i fix this? In the properties panel that comes with the new version of After Effects, I cannot select the color tool and select the color, and after selecting the color, the color selection tool does not exit.

According to this tutorial (https://youtu.be/fi4IPysaTHo?t=26), after creating a rectangle using the Rectangle Tool (Q), there should be an object named "Rectangle 1" that contains "Rectangle Path 1" with properties such as Size, Position, and Roundness: But when I try to do the same, I don't see those elements. Instead, the "Rectangle 1" object only contains "Path 1" with a property called "Path": Is it a bug, or maybe I'm doing something wrong? I would appreciate any help.

Hi,Im just starting into After effects, while trying a few tutorials i have noticed my timeline goes 00001,00002,00003 etc, whereas the tutorials i am following timelines go 1s,2s,3s etc. How do i change mine. Is there any way to resize/reposition an image that has had a mask drawn directly onto it *without* the mask being affected? So that I can alter what parts of the image are visible through the mask without needing to redraw it?I used to do this a lot in Apple Motion, but I can't seem to see any obvious way of doing it in AfterEffects.

Hi guys,I was wondering if anyone knows the solution to my problem. I'm trying to create a loop with numbers counting from 2000 to 2035 for a project. The only issue I'm dealing with is that I want to make changes in the scaling when a certain number hits the middle (as in the example below). Does anyone know how to fix this? I have used the motion title effect, but I can't figure out how to make it like a carousel with magnification in the middle

Like... WHY?Ive made a farm tool using backburner for using unused cpu power and everything works fine, except that by some absurd reason aerender, which is a cmd line tool, steals focus (??)So if the designer is using photoshop (can be any software), everytime a task is assigned to his machine, it interrupts his strokes because aerender steals focus....I did try to call the batch like so to make sure nothing I was doing was stealing focus: @4628292 off START "aerenderBB" /MIN /WAIT /B /LOW "c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects 2021\Support Files\aerender.exe" %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9 | find /I "ERROR:" if %errorlevel% equ 0 (exit /b 32) else (exit 0)(by the way, I have to work around the fact that aerender, besides stealing focus, does not return error codes..........................) any solution or fix to this?Thanks. 

Sometimes when I try to edit the gradient, there are points to adjust it (start, end, angle) that are revealed by double-clicking the gradient area. However, sometimes, no matter what I do, there are no points visible.Can anybody, please, explain me what I'm doing wrong? Why these points can't be revealed when I need them to adjust the gradient? 

Is there any hot key to place anchor point of a shape at the centre of the shape? This is a line I want to snape this anchor piont at the middle of the line.  

When importing a Ai file into the Ae, clicking the gear changes the vectorization of the file slightly.

Hi,I'm running on a Windows PC with a sluggish preview for a few clip shots (120 fps).  Any ideas on how to fix that?   and     Is it helpful to install CUDA TOOL KIT? Things I have done so far but no result:1. Updated the latest version of the GPU driver.2. I have tried different Video Rendering modes (MGA CUDA and OPEN CL)3. Adaptive Resolution setting 1/8 ===>  Texture memory : 15 Gb4. Empty the disk case / clean media database, and cash 5. Tired of different playback preview spaces, Numb, Alt.... etc6. Max Disk cache size 200Mb7. Memory reserved for AE 58 Gb8. AFAIU FullOn means (255 255 255).This is why we get RYMg and transparent borders. Ok.But. Please, look at these settings: https://i.imgur.com/M02Wwsb.pngI set 'Take Alpha from' = FullOn and get the transparent borders filled with red. Why ? Another example: https://i.imgur.com/bYcyE5N.pngAFAIU If we set 'Take from Red' = Alpha, Alpha (in the case) means (255 255 255).This is why we get (255 255 255). Correct ?Ok, but why cyan borders ?Why do we get the borders filled with cyan ?I can't understand. Please, explain why this happens?
