After Effects

My special fonts are misconfigured, while the most basic fonts are pixelated. I don't know what's going on.

I use After Effects 24,3 on a Mac Studio Ultra M2 with 64Go of RAMWhen I double click on my footage after selecting rotobrush the screen becomes blackAnd nothing more, is this. a known bug ?Thanks for your help

started 7 days of free after effects, now I want to cancel it so that I don't have to withdraw money, but it doesn't show in my plans, but it says 6 days left in the application, I don't understand.

When I change my OCIO Configuration to ACES 1.2, my after effect timeline can no longer playback in realtime. It will cache, and everything looks normal, buy playback is approx 1/2 to 1.3rd of the speed.When I turned it back to Adobe Color Managed, it plays fine. Hi !I've created a clip on character animator in which my character is speaking solely, with no background on other puppet.My plan was to take it to After effects and add any background behind it.but, for some reason, it seems like my puppet has a black background that block any other background layer I wish to put under it on Ae.Is there something to do here ?

I have a logo in Illustrator I'm trying to import into After Effects. This logo constitutes 3 shapes: 2 squares 1 circle. If you look at the top right, the layers are three in numbers representing the shape layers. While I import it into After Effects as Footage so I can create shapes from vector, it does something interestingly opposite after the conversion.  It creates the Pathfinder effect(Divide) or Boolean effect such that where the shapes overlap or come in contact, it creates an extra layer. If you look at the bottom left to count the groups, they are now 4 in numbers. This hasn't happened before. I don't know why it's happening now. How can I fix this?

When I try and preview my edit, it will preview the video and the sound and then randomly, the audio will stop playing while the video continues. Some times if I take away effects it plays a tiny bit better. It will preview with sound and video, then stop playing the sound but continue playing the video, then after previewing for a little bit it will resume and play audio again till it eventually stops playing audio again. I have no idea whats up, does anybody have any suggestions? I have Mac book pro 8 GB ram. Any help is appreciated!!!My version of After effects is 14.0.1.5 ( 2017 AE )

Greetings, I'm not much experienced so far in AfterEffects, nevertheless, I'm facing an issue, which I'm unable to solve. I'm trying to create a realistic water flow. I already created the animation and paths, but when I came across the texture, I was unsuccessful in doing it. The water is on an object, so I'm not using CC Glass effect and 2. I created specific paths with the pen tool and then animation by Taper and Trim paths.  I found out two problems:1. When I click on the TrackMatte setting on the BackGround layer. I only see "No Matte" and the two layers, while there should be Four options + No Matte (Alpha Matte / Inverted, Luma Matte / Inverted). If I choose the Water flow layer. The result looks similar to the tutorial, so I'm not sure if it is a problem.2. When I add Levels Effect on the Water flow layer. I got n

Hi, on my last two projects where I've had sequence from Premiere in AE via Dynamic Link have been buggy. Timecodes with content that shouldn't be there, for example a scene or audio from a random timeline, blank or mirrored content.  I've not resorted to creating a Prores file from Premiere into Ae but it's an annoying step I'm having to take as I can't trust the dynamic link right now.  Seems to be only from Premiere Pro to AE.  Any ideas what's causing this?

Hi, I have been using AE for 10 years, I have never encountered this strange bug, I keep flash back or software crash when rendering, I have checked the hardware and there is no problem, I tried Windows 10 and Windows 11, no plugin installed, rendering still crashes, please, can someone help me with this, I am going crazy.My machine configuration (i9-14700K,128G DDR5,NVIDIA RTX 4090)

I downloaded an .aet template animates a browser in an out. i have a screen recording browsing a website but the animate OUT sequence happens sooner than I want. If I try moving the keyframes down the timeline, it just slows down the footage and it's only showing the beginning of the recording. I can't figure out how to increase the time shown in my clip before it animates out. Any help? File No. 648284190 

Just thought I'd share this in case anyone isn't aware - if you create a .MOGRT Motion Graphics Template in AE, it isn't protected in any way. If you open the resultant .aegraphic file that's created when you import into Premiere, you have access to the comp, pre comps and all graphic assets, timelines and expressions etc. This can be seen with the bundled templates as per the other posts on this forum (i've since discovered).I just created a set of MOGRT files for a client thinking that it would be safe (we never share AE project files and our expressions, IP etc) - on closer examination I discovered this. - so this whole process is no good for the way we work with many clients. Pretty disappointing What we need is a protected/encrypted MOGRT option.

Now I’m working on an extension for the after effect and this extension has a server. My task is to add an SSL certificate to the server. After adding the certificate and switching to https, the extension client gives errors - failed to fetch, status canceled inside the extension(we can fix it by adding the certificate to the trusted ones locally on computer, but it should work without it) If you access the server through a browser, the endpoints work fine, the certificate is valid(without added to computer as trusted). I would be grateful for any ideas on how to fix this

I have seen a youtuber by the name of "Jemartob" who makes edits, etc...And he expands the sides of his videos with this seamless AI warpy well blended auto fill.But It also seems as if it isn't just for autofill, as it appears on his videos randomly aswell.I have been looking everywhere for this and I can't find any solution.I have no clue if it's a plugin, different software, or something hidden withing after effects.If anyone knows what this is please tell me, thank you!

When I use the Type tool to insert text, the letters appear distorted. They look "tall" as if they have been stretched. I can't seem to work out why this is happening, all of the character settings seem normal and I've tried reseting the character but to no avail. I have just updated to the latest version of AE (16.1.0).Hope you can help! Thanks!

Hello! I am creating a lower third and eventually I want to turn this into a morgt file as well.   But my problem is the lower case letters are messing up the white and blue bars. I need both to be a fixed height.  Lowercase j's and g's and some i's make the white and blue bars to be perfect height. I need that to be a fixed height when I don't have j's and g's. Also if there is a way to add room for the logo on the left to be apart of this expression I am all in.  As of now I have it working but the file is janky and isn't the best.  I've attached some video examples to show what I am doing here. 

I recently installed After Effects and got the latest version, I wanted to do some editing so I added presets in the folders where it said user presets in After Effects, but when I go in After Effects and I click the burger menu on animations it does not come up with user presets, Please help I have looked everywhere and I can not find a solution.

I'm ALMOST finished renderring my film out.  My sound mixer sentme two seperate wav tracks, one for L and one for R,  But when I did my first render and showedto him, he told me it came out as Mono.  Do I fxi this by opening the stereomixer for both, and having the R level set to zero for the L side and vice versa?

I opened up an ongoing project today and was greeted with this warning. Apparently Fast Box Blur is not installed. I tried reinstalling AE but this did not fix the problem. I checked the AE folder and all the Fastboxblur.*** files seem to be where they should be (I compared with the previous version of AE which still had FBB available). Has anyone else had / fixed this problem? After Effects 2024.3Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2
