Hi there,I have new macbook pro 15" 2019 with Mojave 10.14.6while i'm trying to open my after effects there is warning:when i'm clicking ok:i tried to uninstall and install again all of adobe files,i tried to use the cleaner, i cleaned the preferences and chache files and tried to change the permission for almost all Adobe folders to read and write. i'm stuck and it's super frustraiting. please help!

Hey everyone,I was wondering if there is any information on the next iteration of the Rotobrush tool. Is a "Rotobrush 4" in development, and if so, are there any anticipated release timelines?

For whatever reason, whenever I launch After Effects now, the app freezes when scanning folders and immediately crashes. No error message shows up.I tried basically everything.Starting in safe mode, disabling third party plug-ins (didn't have any to begin with), resetting preferences.Uninstalling, re-installing, manually deleting all files relating to After Effects and then installing it again.It always crashes at the splash screen when it's scanning folders. The folder it crashes at changed every time.I went into Windows settings and gave high-performance to After Effects but that didn't work either.It was literally working fine less than 4 days ago and I finished a project on it. Now it does this and I'm truly stumped on how to fix it.

I've been up all night trying to render a 3:30 animation. Had to render in 15/20sec increments and then stitch together in Premiere Pro because it kept causing the "force quit" dialogue to pop—which has never happened before, usually you have to initiate a "force quit"—saying there is no more memory left, shown to be using 663.35GB, which is more than I have.  This is the first project I've done since updating to Tahoe. Mac specs: M2 Max, 96GB RAM. Using AE latest version 25.5, even uninstalled and installed the last 25.4 to see it that would fix it.  Also, while animating, the preview was so slow I couldn't get the timing down. I don't do a ton of animation projects but have been using AE since 2015 and have never had an issue while working, sometimes it would slow a bit while rendering, but this is ridiculously slow. So slow I was just scrubbing to see if it was about right. Even using the lowest quality preview. Then rendering a 3:30 project was going to take 3.5

I am working on a client project for a UAE based company called wheelsonrent.ae. . The video needs to explain their business in a clean and modern way, and part of the requirement is to export certain animated sequences from After Effects into Lottie JSON format for integration inside their mobile app. The issue I am facing is that when I use Bodymovin to export, some pre‑comps with track mattes and nested shape layers render incorrectly. The alpha channels are not preserved and the animation either disappears or shows solid blocks instead of the intended transparency. I have tried different render settings, flattening layers, and even converting shapes to paths, but the problem still occurs. This is very technical and I could not find any working solution on YouTube or other tutorials. Has anyone experienced this specific issue with track mattes and nested pre‑comps not exporting properly to Lottie, and is there a reliable workaround?

I have been in contact with Adobe support as I somehow lost my version of After Effects CC2019 during a operating system upgade and Adobe recommended I ask the community if anyone has the installer for After Effects 2019 that I could download. Any help would be much appreciated.Thank youDavid

Hi, i experienced this bug in AE 25.5 and new beta 26.Windows AMD machine with nVidia GPU.I have composition, and it look like it is empty, but it is not.There are plenty of layers which are invisible in timeline, but in viewer those have proper behavior, so if I put this composition to another, I can use it, but I can not make any change (because there are no layers visible)It looks like after shy applied, but shy switch is of and layers did not have it enabled.I experienced this in AE 25.5 where disapeared one layer between bunch of others (the layer numbers was 89. 90, 91, 93, 94  - layer 92 just missing. But their content in viewer was visible..And now in Beta 26.0 there are missing all layers which was imported from another project. It affects just one precomp. The behavior is the same like I described. No layers visible in timeline, but their content is visible in viewer and all comps where this precomp is visible..viz attached screenshot. And! When i move text layers from Premiere Pro to After Effects. And unprecompose all the text layers using the motion tool plugin. after the text is unprecomp, when I hit enter to make 2 lines of the text layers, 2nd layer is not showing.  Could you guys help, please? 

I am trying to motion track a beverage can in a 6 second stock video and I intend to put my 2D label on it, I have tried Mocha AE, geotracker but I have failed.I am getting frustrated in Mocha because I set the spline nicely, manually set the planar surface, export the data, apply it to the intended 2D graphic and for a start the graphic is far off from where it should be (I did make the graphic the same size of the comp before applying mocha data), even if I fiddle around with corner pin position, the outcome is so shaky, I have watched so many tutorials, please help

I feel the Adobe Effects tool is bugged when positioning the text on the blue background to run in the composition.

I was following this Dithering Effect Guide and the effect looks great in my app but it loses the effect once exported. This is what it looks like in the comp preview:  This is what it looks like when exported: I followed the youtube guide and toggled the Quality and Sampling as well as adjusted the Render Settings to "Current Settings" There is some extra layering inside of pre-comps that might be causing complications. The structure is:Dithered Image Pre-comp -> Combined Pre-comp -> Final Render Comp Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

I do NOT need any information about the new features.I just wanna know why the bloody hell AE only uses one single core of my computer?It has continuously rendering for over 170 hours.. always ONE CORE.Any idea? Recently had to reinstall Windows 11 due to error when updating most of my CC apps to the latest version. After reinstalling After Effects, I noticed the preview screen is black when paused. It plays fine but, as soon as playback is paused, the entire screen goes blank. This happens in any project with any media. I have updated graphics card to latest driver, updated drivers to monitors, uninstalled and reinstalled AE, uninstalled and reinstalled to previous version, made sure the preview is not set to "Wireframe," turned off "Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels" and set rendering to "Mercury Software Only," cleared cache multiple times, restarted computer and AE multiple times, started in safe-mode, started in safe-mode with plugins disabled and preferences reset, made sure AE is added to graphics list with it set to "High Performance" graphics card, tried different preview resolutions.
