After Effects

so I got adobe but I forgot to cancel the free trial and now I want to delete my account but it wont let me because it says that I need to do something to my payment info, please help me I just want to delete the account, thank you for your time! 

Though I love the idea of having a template load up when I create a new project (Preferences > New Project), its current implementation makes it kind of unusable.  The issue is that whenever I load up AE, it also loads up the New Project template and 99% of the time, I don't want to start a new project, I want to pick up where I left off on my current working project. All it's doing is slowing down AE's load time and forcing me to close out a project I never wanted in the first place. If I turn on the Home Screen option (Preferences > Startup Options > Enable Home Screen), that overrides the New Project setting but I don't want that either as it's just another screen that I never wanted in the first place to close out of. So the current workaround is to just turn it off altogether as it's that annoying. I have been having trouble with the quality of my videos, so I followed this tutorial. After rendering, I try to open the file and am greeted with this error.  What's a way I can fix this error? If I render from Adobe Media Encoder it looks very low quality. Note that I do need to send these videos to clients for them to be able to post on social media.

Does anyone know how to save animation presets with markers?For instance, whenever we download preset packs and templates from the internet, we see we can control animations with layer markers.But whenever I save an animation preset, it only saves (keyframes, effects, and expressions), not markers.

I would like to add basic opacity text animator to text layer through scripting and change its attributes. I am looking for access mainly for:StartEndOffsetUnitsBased onModeOpacity What I got so far. Hello!I have a problem which I have ever experienced before. I have checked through the internet for a solution but I cant find anything! Now, I hope some of you After Effects gurus can explain to me what is going on! So I downloaded a project earlier from the internet which I wanted to use and edit for myself. The thing is, that I cant find all the elements on the timeline or in any comp. But I can see that there is alot more layers in the comp if I look on the flowchart. For example when I look on the "Main" comp. All I can see is compositions named "PlaceHolder1, 2, 3" and so on. Where you will place your own footage insted of what the original creater used. But the rest.. All the solids, displacements, adjustment layers, null object, they are totaly gone from the timeline, when I can clearly see that there is alot more than just "placeHolders" in the flowcharts. Is it possible somehow to hide all these layers to make it easier for the "new user"?If thats the case.. H

Hey, new to the program. I have been playing around with it the past few days, and for some reason today, I can not hold shift and snap the timeline bar to clips/markers/keyframes. Did I accidentally disable this? How can I fix it?

If you set the color engine to [OCIO] in After Effects 2024, you will be able to use [Display Color Space], but this [Display Color Space] cannot be assigned to shortcuts, etc.Is there any way to toggle between color spaces A and B as shown in the image below?

Are there certain AEGP suites we shouldn't/can't use in an AEGP Death Hook?I was trying to use the UtilitySuites to ReportInfo in my Death Hook, and while the suite pointers seem to be valid, it doesn't work properly to display the closing message. Any suggestions?

When i open the after effect speed graph they saw me red and yellow line . Yellow line for adjust and red line is the motion line . My red line is going down but in others after effect speed graph have white line and they set the perfect speed but in my case it is impossible.. pls help me ... 

I'm fairly new to After Effects and animation but for some reason i've been having some problems with the brush tool for some reason when I wanna do masking and I wanna just paint over the masked layer and I want the paint to stay in that specific layer it suddenly just goes away in the next frame afterwards and it's been confusing me a bit.

I can not use any preset it shows missing effect like this  

I  reported this some while ago, and a message was posted that it was  fixed in 24.3.  Soorry, but it is not fixed,, it just crashed on  me yet again.... However the latest beta 24.4 does NOT seem to close down by itself, it has been running the same proejct   for somme 40 minutes right now.,so there is something weird going on between beta and release stages ?

Hi I hope someone can help with this issue I'm having.I have a composition with some stock footage of some smoke on a black background. I've changed the blending mode to screen so that I can put the smoke over other footage, which is fine, it works great. But then I want to duplicate the effect and make alterations in a new composition to bring it on other a different part of the back ground footage. So I make a new comp, copy over the smoke, and it has its black background back, only this time I can not get rid of it even when changing the blending mode to screen. Has anyone else encountered this issue please?

Whenever I try to move a window or object, highlight text, or try to drag something on the timeline in After Effects, my cursor disappears. It is visible on every other part of AE. Can someone please help with this?

I'm making an tweening animation in after effects, and whever I hit play to see the things I've animated, like the arm, it lags a lot and doesn't play the video like it should. What should I do? I'm gonna post a photo of the project here:

I'm animating a video and the pop up says: "a file could not be found". I've replaces all the files with the body parts for the animation expect for one. I've tried to do the "replace footage" but the layers gets all misplaces when I do so. What should I do? Here's a photo:

Hello! I've been trying to make a script that reads the Effects applied to an AVLayer, and make an exact copy in the root Comp that the layer lives. Eventually the idea would be to connect both effects via expressions. The idea behind this is to be able to promote control of the effects within a Comp to the outside of the comp, that way some things can be tweaked from the outside instead of having to delve into the comp, look for the layer and make the alterations in there.  I;

i get these errors, someone know how to fix. My specs are 2080 super, i7, and 32 gb ram if that help  

My client gave me a video .mov to add in a After Effect comp. There is a logo integrated in the video. When I open the video in QuickTime or photoshop, everithing looks fine. Whene I import the video in After Effect or Première Pro, the logo is super pixellated but only the logo. The rest of the image is clean. Any Idea ?Thanks !

 everytime i try to use a preset it says "contains a reference to a missing effect. please install the following effect to restore this reference." says i'm missing s_shake , wiggle and shake and wiggle. please help i've been trying to solve this for 3 days but nothing on the Internet seems to help.

I've imported a 3D asset that was edited in Dimension. The model seems to have a light source, which I'm trying to edit, as it casts a darker shadow than I would like, but Layer > Light is greyed out. I've checked and adjusted the lights in Dimension, but it doesn't seem to be coming from here. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!
