After Effects

Ok so my preview window in after effects is displaying at about quarter framerate so I can't make edits - as in - if I change the composition framerate to 120 fps then I have a somewhat reasonable framerate (about 25 frames) to work with. I've tried everything on the improve performance page but i don't think this is the issue. It's a simple lyric video i'm trying to make and I have an i7-9750H, RTX2070 and 16 gigs of ram. Please help. 

I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to create this complicated effect. It's many photos moving back in space to form one photo. Getting the final photo to start out with that kind of 3D pixelation is the trick. It may have been done in another program in 3D but I don't know, maybe an AE plug-in or template. I am trying to 3d track a clip on my PC on after effects 2024. I tried to Track my footage, however when its done tracking the track point dont show up. They only show up if i press render track points, but when i do that and try to use one of the track points it simply doesnt work. I tried messing with the settings and i trid precomposing the clip. I never had any errors.  I am very new to after effects so any help would be appreciated. my PC specs:cpu: amd ryzen 5600Ggpu: amd radeon 6600 xtRam: 16gbScreenshot:   

Вчера все было в порядке, сегодня включаю компьютер, запускаю афтер эффект, и ничего не работает, кликаю мышкой по таймлайну, не могу выбрать никакой слой, курсор не появляется, в панели проект также не могу выбрать ни папки, ни слои. Перезапустила афтер эффект, проблема остается та же самая. Афтер не работает. Заранее благодарю за помощь! Не могу завершить срочный заказ!

This is a speedometer. If the dial rotates left to right how can I maintain the spacing and the round cap as it moves?

My after effects says I need to delete a double installed plugin, but when I follow the path I get stuck in the common folder (dead end), see screenshot.  I need to fix this because Ae is crashing

I have a pre-comp nested in my main comp that i'd like to loop.I enabled Time Remapping, went to the last keyframe, moved back one frame and made a new keyframe, then deleted the original last keyframe.I also tried doing the same but replacing the original last keyframe with the a copy of the first one. However both methods have still resulted in the dreaded last black frame of the loop. The last frame is always black. I've gone through plenty of forum posts on this website and others and still haven't found a solution unfortunately. This is really doing my head in!Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Hey so I cant open after effects because the sapphire bundle is missing. They say I should reinstall the sapphire plugins to fix the problem but no matter how many times I reinstall it it wont work. I would really appreciate if someone could help me. 

 I have these popups when I turn on After Effects. May I know are there anywhere I can reinstall the plugins? How can I fix the "Couldn't find main entry point for AEXD.aex (48::72)" error? Any help would be much appreciated.  

I have a clip in my timeline and when I keyframe transform values, the keyframes don't show up in my timeline. The keyframes are working (the clip is zooming and rotating) but I can't visualy see them. I also tried adding an effect to the clip and the keyframes for that don't show up for that either.I can see the keyframes for my shape layer just fine.Added screenshots to show what I mean.

Hi.I've been Googling and YouTubing this and all the info I can find is about 3D camera solving. Here's what I want to do: I have some footage of someone turning their head, and I want to put a 3D model of a hat on them that follows the movement of the head. Is this even possible? Would camera solve work for this? Or just a normal Motion Track with position and rotation? I've tried the latter quickly and I can't seem to get results. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.So first, is it even possible? If yes, anyone know how I could go about it?Thanks

I work for a video game developer and I am always having problems with footage glitching in both After Effects and Premiere. The source footage does not glitch at all.In After Effects, some clips will glitch when I export or just pre-render.In Premiere, it can sometimes glitches in the preview window and on the timeline.In both cases, the workaround has been to replace footage with a different clip temporarily and the replace it again with the proper footage. This either fixes the issue or glitches then happen again in DIFFERENT spots. This is annoying but it works... BUT, now I have a project which has 12 clips on the same screen. 2-3 of them will glitch, so I do my workaround, but then others will then glitch and this keeps happening.I uploaded a video on YouTube as an example. The following monsters glitch:- Top Left (Towards the end of the video)- Bottom Left (Shortly after appearing)- 2nd row, 3rd monster in (Shortly after appearing)Any suggestions?Thanks!

Hey Guys, im a bit desperate here.I followed a tutorial to free some space from my mac and apparently I deleted something important.i get these errors and AE won't open at all. Also no Adobe app opens. Uninstalling and installing is not helping. any clues??

Hi, I need some help.I installed Rubberhose3, but the UI doesn't load.I also changed the script setting to "Legacy" in the Project Settings, but it still doesn't work.How can I fix this?please, help

i am brand new to ae and need some help. i am trying to start an edit and it will not go past the render screen. I have force quit the app etc and it still will not close. help with how to fix it? also how can i extract audio from a video that has audio in it so that it lines with the video properly?

Hi,I need some guidance from  seniors.  Sometimes I re-open my AE projects after months and I entirely forget  what I did to which layer/s.. I can say from watching movement/animation. But I am curious to know If there is a way to tell which layers have keyframes from 100 layers if not more!! Without selcting them all and press 'U' and scrolling for ages!!! ( I am very impatient ). Please seniors any way to know?? Thank you

Estou tentando renderizar uma composição não muito complexa em efeitos, mas as dimensões são de 29.528px por 295px e quando vou nas configurações de render, automaticamente é diminuído para 16.384px e trava ali, não é renderizado maior que isso... ja tentei pré renderizar as comps e renderizar só com os .movs mas também não funcionou! I have an existing arrow graphic used for a logo, that needs to be animated so that it follows the shape and finishes as it is in the logo, is there a way of doing this without drawing one single path? as it is made of geotmetric shapes rather than a single stroke. 

Hi Dear Community, I'm not sure if I'm using After Effects right or not !I think it should use GPU at it maximum. it seems like it not using anything but 100% from CPU. GPU : Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060CPU : Intel i5 - 10400F PC lags and freezes when rendering a video.. Can you help please !!

This is a Ai file & importeded to Ae. Colors are set in Ai. Is it possible to animate color in Ae? Video is attached.  

I have tried to duplicate an effect and to make it independent but it keeps on making it the same.   from the top left box i have the Project screen with the composition A. i canot drill into the compostion A.   once i double click the composition A then the timeframe screen appears on the bottom. within there is many layers.   example layer 1 has effect with text and videos.  this is what i want to copy and duplicate to keep the effects but be able to change videos and texts.   I have tried all the ctrl + D and Ctrl C and V but to no avail.   Can someone help?   [Title updated by Mod.]
