Animate

A shot in the dark - MacOS, Animate CC 2024, latest, 2021 Intel Macbook Pro with 32 GB RAM. I click the colour picker on my toolbar, bring up the colour swatches, and then click the field above it with the colour hexcode. As soon as I click on it (to copy, or type a new colour value), Animate pauses, then crashes. Same goes if I use the Color Panel or the Gradient Panel, wherever I go to type in a colour value. It's as if Animate can't handle me typing in colour values. Not sure what's happening. This is a fresh install with reset preferences. I've also set Accessibility Options in MacOS system settings, to no avail. This is very repeatable, as every time I click that little #FFFFFF to manually give a colour value, it crashes Animate.

Hi I have been watching awesome animations on youtube and I was like, I am so going to do that. So then I watched how to vids and found out about Macromedia flash professional 8 which is what a lot of people are using, for free. Now I know that Adobe wold never give something as good as this for free but couldn't find anywhere to buy it and I didn't want to get any malware, spyware, and or virus can someone please help me. By the way I do not have the money to get CS6 or any thing like that.

I am working on animating multiple scenes I illustrated in Adobe Illustrator. I am animating them in Adobe Animate. For context, currently I am animating two map scenes that I will later have together in After Effects, so the colors NEED to match. Despite being the same hex codes, color mode, and color profile, when I import one Adobe Illustrator file into Animate, the colors look exactly as they do in the Illustrator document. When I import the OTHER Illustrator file into Animate, the colors are way brighter than they are in the original Illustrator document. I have gone through and manually checked that everything is consistent and have made sure the color profiles are synchronized in Bridge. Open to any help on this. i’ve exported an FLA from modern adobe multiple times, but the exported mp4 cuts out ten seconds and  dont know why. i need help

With AS3, I need to pause the playback for about 2 seconds, then have it automatically resume. For Canvas the code would be stop();var stoVariable:uint = setTimeout(Variable, 2000);function Variable() { play(); } How would I modify this for AS3?

I'm working with Animate 2024 and trying to add sound to my project. I have imported the wav files and made sure they were 16 bit/ 1400. They are set to Stream. The timeline is long enough to support the duration of them.  They play fine in the timeline. But when i test in browser ( im using HTML5/Java by the way) i hear no sound. Same when  i publish. No sound. Even when uploaded to a live server, still no sound. I have tried multiple browers and publish settings with no luck. No youtube videos with this issue. Am i missing something? If anyone has any idea what im doing wrong or know how to fix this i would greatly appriciate it! Please help its driving me nuts!Thanks!

I am an animator that recently bought a surface pro 11 with an ARM processor. Is there any update when Adobe animate will be available on it?

I've been having trouble with exporting my animation, in earlier exports, the virtual camera (not the adobe animate built-in one) worked fine, but after animating some more, the camera refuses to work when exporting. I find it a little weird because the cam layer is still there, and it seems pretty much untouched. Maybe i messed up something ? I am using Swivel in order to export it (hence why i'm using a virtual camera instead).      

I found a Macromedia Flash 8 CD License at a Thrift store, and was wondering if I’m still allowed to use it considering the fact that software is Abandonware without having to be thinking I’m pirating software, yes this sounds like a dumb question I know. 

Hey everyone,I’m trying to reinstall Adobe Flash Professional CS6 from my original installation CD. When I went to Adobe’s support chat, the virtual assistant basically said my email isn’t linked to any active plan and told me to sign in with another account.After that, I couldn’t even find a way to reach a human agent. There was no “still need help” option or anything like that, and the chat just keeps looping back to the bot.I don’t have a Creative Cloud subscription or anything like that anymore—just the original CS6 disc and whatever serial info I have from back then.Has anyone else run into this with older Adobe software? Is there still a way to contact a real support agent for legacy installs, or am I basically stuck with the CD and no official help?Any advice would be appreciated.

I am trying to export an animation (to video) from Adobe Animate that is 1080x1920 for use in Instagram stories... But when I export this animation to video - the mp4 I get back has black bars on the sides...  I don't want the black bars on the sides. I just want the 1080x1920.Any help would be apprciated!

I uninstalled adobe animate and deleted all the associated files off my personal one drive because it was taking up too much space, then I went into adobe creative cloud and changed the install location to my new one drive. But for some reason every time I try and install animate now, it installs in both locations. This is starting to get really frustrating, does anyone know how to fix this?

In my country Pakistan ....I cant buy Adobe products ,,Am i Allowed to use crack Adobe Animate in case ? because I want to Animate using Adobe Animate .I have been Animating from past 2 years . Maybe someday it will be available and I would buy if i will be earning enough

I imported a screenshot from my library into adobe animate. After breaking the image apart i tried using paint bucket to fill in a certain section of the image but it filled the entire image itself. Also when i use the dropper tool it doesn’t pick up one color that I click on, but makes a fill of the entire image?

I don't have any money to get Adobe Animate CC 2019, So I just want it, I also don't want the free trial becuase 30 days can feel like 1 second, So How do I even get it 😞

I have Adobe animate 2019 on my current windows 12 computer and everytime I open it it gives me a black screen and closes in my face it came with a Home Screen fix but that does not help it still keeps closing how can I fix it so I can use it again and I do not want to use the future versions

Hi.  I’m trying to link my symbols so that they will move accordingly.  All my pivot points are in the right place, but for example, when I try to rig the foot to the lower leg, the symbol shifts and I can’t move it back into place (see images below.)  If I click on the foot layer, the symbol just turns into some thick line.  How can I fix this?The way the linking should be.If I parent the lower leg to the foot.If I click on the foot layer. 

HiDoes anyone know how to export Adobe Animate .FLA files to an MP4?  I don't have animate any more as my (ancient!) mac won't support it any more, but I've got some files that I really need to open and save.Thank you!Sophie

Hi, I have an Adobe Animate project for university due tonight. I have a background and several objects, but I cannot color some parts of the background. I think the background may be one image or the shapes are not closed, so the Paint Bucket does not work.I also need help organizing the layers and moving the objects correctly without ruining the project. I need to move the tree house, apple tree, chicken and worm, lock the background layers, and export the final project.Can someone guide me quickly?
