Animate

I've created a 24 FPS, 30-second HTML5 canvas animation. However, publishers are concerned that the length exceeds 30 seconds. They've suggested increasing the FPS to 30, which results in a faster animation. Have others encountered this issue, and how to fix it?

When I export a video with more than 4 scenes the audio file from scene 4 starts to play again in scene 5 on top of scene 5's audio. This happens with every video with more scenes than 4. The problem also exacerbates further as both scene 4 and 5's audio will then loop again in scene 6 on top of the scene 6 audio.  I can't find any reason why the audio loops. In PROPERTIES under SOUND - EFFECT is set to STREAM and SYNC is set to  REPEAT (not Loop). I've deleted the audio and incerted a new audio in the problem scenes, but the problem persists. My only solution is to render out every scene seperately and render them out again in Aftereffects, which is an extreme inconvenience and doubles my workload.  Please help me fix this problem. (problem begins 3:03 in the mp4 file)

When I try to change the font of a typo the program shuts down and i don't know why

Ive been using Adobe Animate off and on since early 2023, when my school gave me an account. And since feb 2024, I've been using it a great deal more on my Alienware Windows PC. Back then, I hardly had any crashing issues. But recently, for whatever reason, Animate has been crashing so much that it is just insane. Everywhere I look online, nothing works and it seems like nobody else has the same issue as me. I use Animate to make little 1 - 3 min animated YouTube videos and I'm pretty comfortable working with this software, so I know there is something new going wrong here.    1st, I bought a new Dell Windows computer (link removed-kglad) about 3 months ago, and it is running the new Windows 11 operating system. I have 32 GB RAM, Intel i9-14900K CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, and 2 TB internal memory across two SSD's.    The crashing has increased drastically within the last 3 weeks, but when I got this PC, this was not happening.       

Back already guys, simple practice game project, (i thought), but I'm totally stumped.So the way it runs is this, starts on scene 1, there's a movie and a button. Click the button and the function makes that button dissapear and plays the bull movie.Now inside the movie clip, Click the new button to jump off the bull and depending on the current frame number, you either land on your feet or land on your side. (the key is to click the moment the bull's Butt or Right Side is exposed)When I try this simple game it runs perfect first time thru, (he lands on his feet if I click correctly) but when it goes back to scene 1 and starts over, it stops working and always goes to Frame(72) [which means you lose] no matter if I click at the right time or not. Refresh the page and works correctly again??I originally had it all together in one scene but had this same problem, which is why I tried to spilt them up but it didn't help. I purposely made it only 8fps, not sure if that effects anything.I g

 I'm running Animate on Windows 10 and I would like to apply dark mode coloring to Animate's code editor, but it appears I'm unable to customize the colors of the scroll bars and the line numbers area.It seems those parts of the UI are not customizable through the following menus in Animate: File > Preferences > Code Editor > Editing Options > Modify Text Coloring ButtonFile > Preferences > Interface > Color Theme > DarkAnd it appears this has been a long-lasting issue, as Adobe Animate 2018 has this problem as well.   Nevertheless, I thank you for any other suggestions you may have for fixing this issue. I find it's more comfortable for my eyes to code completely in darkmode, and I wish to be able to do that while I write and test JSFL scripts directly from Animate.  

What is the process for copyrighting an animation created using Adobe Animate?

Hi guys, have a simple crunch sound. When I put it on the timeline and play the movie, Nothing. So I made a button and coded the sound to play and it works fine? Same mp3 file.Do I have to preload the sound somehow to play it on the timeline maybe?Any help greatly appreciated!

I go through what I thought was the export video/media process which takes me to Adobe media export. Everything looks good but when I viewed the video it is short and does not contain full clip. I really help. 

I was just making an animation, but I noticed some gray bars that appeared out of nowhere when zooming. Before they appeared, I was animating just fine on the same animation. They just came out of nowhere. Attached is a video demonstrating my problem. Help!

Hi I've created an interactive infographic in Animate which works fine when I test the movie in a web browser and when ipublish the OAM file in Indesign. However I can't get it to work on my website.  I've copied the js code into my website the infographic doesn't render (no images appear) and I get the following error: Uncaught TypeError: cjs.MovieClip is not a constructor.  Uncaught TypeError: cjs.MovieClip is not a constructor at digestivesystem:1350:20 at digestivesystem:3153:3 Would anyone have any advice as to how to fix this? Thanks in advcance Ellen 

I want to fill color in non close line work of circle. In order to do that, I select "close large gaps" in bucket tool.But it won't work. 

Hey, so I'm a long time user of animate and love the drawing aspects of it. Over the past 5 years I've pretty much switched from paint tool sai to just using adobe animate for everything. HOWEVER, since i've upgraded laptops multiple times and still having lagging issues with animate, I've decided to try downgrading to the last version of the old flash cs6. It does indeed run MUCH faster and has all the tools I use, but am having trouble with some of the commands Many of the "f" buttons used for adding frames and whatnot aren't accessable on my hp laptop (since they're used by the system) but I was able to bypas this by changing the command keys to ctrl+ different keys on my computer. There is ONE issue that I can't seem to get by though. The zoom tool on animate relies on the mouse wheel and I can't seem to get it to regester when I'm changing the keyboard shortcut.  Ive tried switching it to the ctrl+, and ctrl+. since the wheel seems to act as those buttons when scrol

I'm creating banner ads for a campaign and I'm having an issue where only a specific text and shape layer are blurry:All text and shapes are converted to movie clip symbols and the only difference is that the middle text and shapes change tint at one point.  Any help is much appreciated.

I am writing in jsfl to add a blur filter to the camera layer, but I cannot find the API. Currently, I have only found a color filter solution. In general, it turned out that I had to delete almost a thousand symbols manually by opening fla as a zip, and now when opening a fla file, I still have those symbols in the library that I deleted, but they are empty. In general, all this is due to the fact that DOMDocument.xml still thinks that these symbols exist, so is there any way to "update" DOMDocument.xml not manually? For example, using jsfl or python script?

Hello, I'm working on an animation project. I completed one scene, saved 2 copies of the finished project in .fla format. I wanted to test out if it works well, but Animate cannot open any of those. Then I saved a new project, it was much more smaller file, and it opened without any problem. When I tried to open that finished project, it says "doesn't respond" and screen shows as loading for like 20-30 minutes then shuts down without any warning. I created the project with the version 23.0.3, couldn't open with the saem version, I installed 23.0 and it didn't work either. I then installed the versions 23.0.8 and 24.0. and lastly, 24.0.5. None of them worked. I also tried the winrar method, it also didn't work. The file is 486 MB, idk if it too big but my computer worked perfectly until the end of that project, I don't understand why it doesn't open that. I know the minimum requirement for Animate is 8GB of RAM, and I have 16GB. What can I do?

 I would like to use pixel art in my HTML5 Canvas projects, but I'm unsure how I can disable the antialiasing or blurring that occurs when the bitmaps or the canvas itself is scaled up. I know for ActionScript projects, I can turn off "Allow smoothing" from the Bitmap properties to prevent this.
