There was recent news about the software developers’ wanting to discontinue the Adobe Animate App but there are a lot of people who don’t want the app discontinued.Would the software developers reconsider keeping the Adobe Animate app alive if enough people petition to have it continue?If not, I was hoping they could create a new app that has very similar functions to it.

I heard everything about the news about Adobe Animate getting discontinued, will I still be able to use Adobe Animate 2024 normally? Even without technical support or updates?

Okay so, Im a flash user from wayback when, started with flash 2.0 the only action script i leared was stop() lol..  But anyways currrently I am a presentation designer and have been using animate to designer cover and section dividers, animate pie charts, thaat type of thing. Is there another adobe app that can export OAM files, I plop them right into Indesign...Our salspeople are gonna be pissed when i tell them I cant do that anymore, I can still use Indesign animation but, it doesnt do masks

Ok I need an explanation if Adobe animate is shutting down what the heck is going to happen to all my life’s work I saved on my usb’s and creative cloud I even have unfinished projects, what is going to happen in my next monthly pay? I've payed this plan fair and square im still testing and updating some projects im worried

So, this morning I received a “bomb” in my email, Adobe Animate will be discontinued.My head runs fast and I’m trying to understand what can be the solution after this. First of all I ask Adobe, since we pay each month mainly for Adobe Animate, where can I download the full installer, even if it will not be updated anymore after 1st of march. Secondly I’m asking the community if some of you bumped into a good animation programs for html5 banner. Good I mean with masks filters and stuff, not the ease-in and opacity animation kind. Thirdly I’ve to say that Adobe is making a huge mistake. I'm teaching young folk how to use Adobe Animate because despite what every one says it's better than most programs for animating. Yes, yes yes, Toon Boom is better you say, bla bla bla...  not really.It's FAR more complicated.Animate?All you need to know is that all symbols have timelines and you can see how powerful it is. it's ONLY better (in some regards) because Adobe has done really nothing in years to promote, improve or fund Animate development. It's STILL a  GREAT program even WITH the bugs. Is it dead?I hope not, at leadt I hope someone buys it and then redevelops it.Will Adobe keep updating it?I hope so.So what do you think?

Now that Adobe Animate is going away, what alternatives are there for those of us that used it for HTML5 banners? Anything other than Google Web Designer? Not a fan of that and hope Adobe plans to have other vector based animation that will export HTML5 banners for web ads?

I pay for an annual monthly subscription. After hearing of Adobe Animate’s discontinuation, and that I only really have a year left of it being functional, is it still going to bill me for every month that I use it after March 1st? If that’s the case, I’m cancelling this subscription now.

i was clearing out storage and a day later i realized i deleted an fla file i need but when i recovered it, it became corrupted and i tried to fix it but i dont know

I was animating, and I leave my desk for like, a few seconds, and i come back to see that my layers all have the same colored box next to them and they all have prop_ and obj_ in their name. There are also a LOT more layers than before which is really confusing. How on earth do I fix this, and how do i avoid it for next time? I’ve heard from some that it means my file is corrupted, but I want to know why. AND IS THERE A WAY TO FIX THIS?? I beg.. somebody.. please

Hello, I'm so frustrated I'm about to give up.I need an object to move quickly from left to right, and for some reason I can't motion tween it past a certain point horizontally. I've tried everything, whenever I try and drag it past a certain x-coordinate it won't go past that. It is a specific distance that changes based on where the object starts.Please help
