Audition

I recorded audios for interviews using my Rode NTG4+ Microphone which is connected to a Zoom H6 and then to Audition. I did this recording around 6 days ago and saved everything after confirming it was all good. Today I opened the project only to find only 2 of the 8 audios present while the others are missing. Even the files themselves are not there in the location where I had set them to record except the 2.I recorded as a Multitrack Session as I always do and I've never lost any file. I need help to recover these files because I have no idea what happened. I'm Using a HP Omen 15 2020 Intel(R)Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHzGPU RTX 2070 With Max Q Design VersionAdobe Audition 22.2.0.61   

Hi All, sorry if this sounds really  dumb but i cannot figure out how to opent he Audition manual? When trying to access the user guide from Adobe's Audition pagebut i cannot find the user guide and I'm going round in circles. Any help appreciated!In particular i want to know how to rid my project of redundant unused clips, understand what the different folders are used for in the project location and learn more about meta data so i might export markers into FMOD somehow if at all possible? Thanks!

This is my first day with Audition I can't even believe this. I double clicked on a panel to see the whole thing and it expanded. Great. Now, how do I make it small again? Thanks  Isabelle

Hello all, Recently my setup has started giving me issues where I cannot record or playback in MME.  This setup has worked for years and for whatever reason has just stopped working and gives me the MME device internal error message at startup and if I try to record or playback I get the default device input or output device is not responding and may be disconnected. If I switch to ASIO I am able to record just fine but then I have to switch to WASAPI in order to be able to playback and edit again which works fine but is super frustrating switching back and forth. I'm on Win 10 and I just updated that, and checked all the usual fixes you find online.  I have a scarlett solo that I am running through for the mic and playback through my desktop speakers which is why I need MME enabled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, my adobe audition stopped working one day and I can' open it anymore. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it several times but I keep getting the error message attached. I also ran the adobe cleaner tool and restarted my computer. I also already tried uninstalling and reinstalling adobe creative cloud and whenever I reinstall adobe audition I keep getting the same error message. Can someone help? I really feel like I have exhausted all of my options here.

All the lyrics and instrumentals have been privately finished for my upcoming ablum!! I'm finally in the process of mastering and cleaning my tracks. What is the best service to master my tracks (besides soundcloud,bandlab, mts)

The Flange Verb preset is no longer present in the Flanger preset settings. What are the settings so I can make my own?

In the waveform editor you have the choice to use the Izotope radius time-pitch algorithm. But what about the Multitrack editor? Does the High Quality setting means that radius is also used, or the (inferior) audition algorithm in its best quality is used?ThanksK 

Hey,I worked on a session the last two days and were actually making the final tweaks before bouncing. Of course Audition crashed once again while I was "unfreezing" a track to change the EQ. Alright, it's Audition, this is happening like ten times per day, so I open it again and try to load the session. It opens the session, I can actually see the tracks and for about two seconds I'm even able to click something in that session but that's when the software completely freezes. I'm 90% sure it's a bug caused by two freezed tracks (the lighting bold) because as soon as the session starts to prerender them, it crashes. So, I tried reinstalling it, tried a different version, cleared cache, nothing works. I disabled all my Plugins (mostly Waves & iZotope) and I'm able to open up the session again. Great. I unfreeze the tracks and enable all Plugins. So, when loading up my session, I'm now able to make changes and everything seems to be normal again. Except that the settings on all Plugi

I just want to be able to hear myself in my headphones, but nothing I do get rid of the latency and reverb sound, with no in between. Using a Mac with a 2i2.

Hallo Adobe You guys should make Adobe Audition a fully functional daw. Because there is an Adobe software for almost everything. But, for music production we have to work on other softwares. Every Adobe user is very familiar with Adobe UI which is similar to use in almost all applications. And working on Adobe DAW will give Adobe bundle a completeness.  Go for it guys..... 👍🙏Please   

I am trying to record a multitrack voiceover. I record one voice on track one. However, when I record the second voice onto track two, track two simultaneously records track one's voice again as well as the new voiceover from the mic. Now matter how many tracks I use, any audio in other tracks will also be recorded into that track. This causes an unwanted chorus or robotic sound which makes the audio horrible. I uninstalled audition and preferences but that did not work. Any help would be appreciated. 

I just ran a high pass filter (80Hz) on a vocal and though the overall LUFS level was a tiny bit lower, the loudest peak INCREASED by about .5dB! Also, it became much less symmetrical, with waveform bunching up more on the top side. See pic. Any ideas why this is? Thanks! 

I recently recorded a book for audible using audacity, and would like to use audition to edit the files. I understand that raw files should be used for this, so is there a way to convert audacity files to use in audition? or must I convert to wav, mp3 etc. 

I developed a custom export filter (.FLT) for Audition 2.0/3.0. Is there an API for the latest version or has this feature been removed ? Thanks.

My mic works fine for a few seconds then volume drops out. Ive replaced my interface. Checked cords. I mainly use Audition but Ive check in Garage band and any other vocal thing and it does the same. Ever hear of this? It doesnt feel like a mic issue. 

How to fix this error " the directory couldn't be created " at the multitrack session?

Hello - I'm trying to export my session for archive purposes and am having trouble doing so, even though it works with some sessions. I am working in multrack mode and when I click file > export > Session I get a dialog box that allows me to export the .sesx file along with copies of the associated media. Unfortunately when I hit "ok" nothing happens. It just returns me to the multitrack screen as if I had hit "cancel." However, with some files this process works as it is supposed to. The only thing that differs (as far as I can tell) is the sample type. I'm using Audition 22.3.0.60 on a 2019 MacBook Pro running Big Sur and have tried reverting to older versions of Audition, but to no avail. Any ideas what else I could try?

Hello I wanna record mutiple tracks Voice over voices. But i get the Latency, i am aware why its there. In audacity (a free recording app) there is a latency compensation which i set on -325 ms and it solved my problem. now the tracks match all the time when i listen again.Does this not exist in audition? Cause i dont want to recude anything else to make this gap smaller and i think it will always stay to big. (i do have an AI + mic)  Thanks for the help. 

I recently started using Audition to edit audio for my podcast. We still record in Audacity since I'm the only one to have access to Adobe. I've found that after mixdown down the 5 tracks, feedback and static are added at one or two points that weren't there originally. I went in to remove them and then mixed it down to export (as an mp3) and it got added again. Any idea why it's doing that?

Hello! I'm recording long clips (1-2 hours straight) for podcasts, tutorials, audiobooks etc.and i need to find out a way to do some edit (as razor tool) while i'm recording for cut wrong words, stumbles,breath and more. Is there any way to do this??  Thank you!

I believe I have all my settings correct under Hardware, but there is no audio coming through to the program. As in no movement in the meters. I'm using a Mac, Scarlett 2i2, and a Shure SM7B. Even my computer shows the audio is connected and working, just not the Audition program.

I'M USING AN AUDIO TECHNICA AT-LP120-USB TURNTABLE THE PROBLEM TRYING TO RECORD A MUSIC LP I CAN SEE THE METERS MOVING BUT CAN NOT HEAR THE MUSIC. WHEN I PLAYRD IT BACK THE I CAN HEAR....DRIVER PROBLEMS???? PLS HELP! (BOTH INPUT AND OUTPUT DRIVERS SHOWS THE SAME HIGH DEFINITION

Hi!   I need to layer effects in a certain roder in a multi-track setting: "Effect A" then "Effect B-Z". Effect A is the same for all tracks and ust be the first effet applied. Then, I need to apply a different effect on a track-by-track basis: Track 2 gets "Effect B", Track 3 gets "Effect C", etc... Can this be done in audition??? I can't seem to figure out how to make that happen. I'm on Audition 13.0.6.38. Thanks,Tom   

Sometimes, when I merge clips, the audio disappears but the merged clip remains with nothing there, just silence. Doesn't happen all the time, though. What am I doing wrong? Thanx!
