Uso MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017), macOS Monterrey (Versión 12.4)
Hi all, thanks in advance.I'm editing a podcast, very simple stuff with minimal filters, and I've been doing it on this machine for over a year with no trouble. Today Audition started something new - when I press space to pause, the audio stops briefly (less than a second) then continues to play for 1 more second before stopping. Almost like I triple tapped the spacebar, but that's definitely not happening. When I press play to resume, it does pick up from where I originally paused, but the additional blip of audio is super frustrating.I'm on Windows 11 running the most up to date version of Audition and working on a heavy duty gaming laptop from Sager, which I only use for editing currently. Chrome Browser is the only other open window, and I haven't had any other issues with the computer or with Audition. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the whole program with the same problem.I've seen people with a similar issue in Premiere, but haven't seen any discussions about this in Audition.&
I saw an older post where someone asked this question but I didnt quite understand how to do this . There used to be a feature when before inserting audio files into your session in adobe , you can preview the file before doing so. Is this still available on the newer versions of adobe and if so... HOW if you could , can you explain to me as if I was a 3 year old. Thank you. I really miss this feature and would love to use it again. Thank you so much!
I have 3 audio clips with exact same speech generated by azure text to speech service. As 3 audio clips are using different tone, there are differences in the time finishing same sentences and words. Even I adjust the azure parameter and produce an almost exact total length, each individual sentence still have slightly different speed and finish time. As the clip becomes longer, the shift difference accumulates and becomes obvious at the later part. The below audio clips are edited by detecting and cutting out the silent part, each audio clip has exact number of segment. What I want to do is align each segment at the beginning, even each sentence has slightly difference speed and ending time, the difference is acceptable to me since the shift problem is not accumulating anymore. so like the below image, I can align manually, but there are hundreds of clips. is there a method to this automatically?the azure service doesn't have any parameter to make this result, so the remaining cho
I am running edition version six on a Windows 7 machine. Yes I know it's a old machine but it works and it does what I needed to do. I am getting an indication that I have so many days left before the software stops working unless I sign in. I have a current account with Adobe and I am up-to-date and I can login to my account. But I'm still getting these messages saying that I only have so many days left. Is there a way to make this stop?
Hi! This frequently happens while I'm working, but it is a somewhat intermittent problem. I've had this issue working both with .mov and .mpr (h264) files: During a session, almost half of my clicks on the multitrack view cause Audition to freeze and, after it comes back 10-15 seconds later, the video window automatically resizes itself to a larger size (no matter if the base video is 1080p, 4k or 720p), messing up my workspace. This is AWFUL, and it makes me lose a lot of time and patience. I've tried, so far: - Different video codecs- Disabling hardware acceleration- rebooting the computer- reinstalling audition- installing more RAM (I now have 64 GB and a different brand)- changing the base SSD- changing the scratch disk I just can't figure out what is going on! I normally navigate through the session using the Time Selection Tool, and the most frequent scenario is when I directly right-click a clip to drag it around, but it also happens with Move Tool. I'm
I use Audition on Mac. I was editing a sound with more than 10 vocal tracks. Each track has its own rack of sound effects. When I play back, it gradually slowed down and generate electric noises. I don't have this issue when the number of tracks is smaller than 5 or 6. Can someone help? Much appreciated.
So I can see the start and end of songs which amybe quiet, can I increase the height of WFM's? I have track hieghts maxed and don't want to incerase the volumes, but see the quiet bits?
Hello! I am editing a handful of clips in Audition, and a part of my normal workflow includes using the normalize audio action in the "Favorites" drop-down menu, but there are only 4 options visible. I have attached a screen shot of what that is looking like. Any ideas as to what happened to the other options? Thank you for your time!
Each time I attempt to apply WAVE Central's NS1 plugin to an audio file in Audition, it crashes the program. I have the latest updates to the plugins. I have the latest version & updates to Audition. I have the plugins correctly installed, scanned and enabled in the effects rack. When I first installed and used them a few months ago, it worked great and then stopped. I have searched the internet for solutions and found many others who have experienced the same issue, but no formidable solution that can generally apply. WAVE Central technical support was no help either. I hope Adobe has a workable solution. Of course, I can always use DeNoise in Audition but would like the benefit of both. Can you help?
Hey everyone!I've come across a tech issue concerning Adobe Audition that maybe someone can help me with. I've exported an audio file in which, at some points, I had left full silence while editing (I'm attaching a screenshot of the multitrack session). However, when analyzing the exported file, there's a bit of noise floor (of around -144db) in the spots in where should be silence. Does anybody know if there's a way to solve this? It would be a life-saver.Thanks!
Just curious if anyone has had any issues or knows of anything I should watch out for when upgrading my Mac OS to Monterey and getting Audition back up and going. I have a bunch of Waves plugins I'll have to update to V 13 I know but other than that.... am I good to go?
1)I wish to record a video track at the same time as two vocal mics and one guitar track. (At the same time) 2)then mess with the effects and levels after, mabe even add another track or two afterwards 3) using a focurite 8 channel interface Can this be done ??
Hello Everyone. I noticed Inside Multitrack, Fade Envelope, Gain Envelope and Normalize ( Process) are Grayed-Out.Why you can only work with these effects inside the Waveform only. Thanks

Specifics: My friend wants a reel made for his streaming channel and I wanted to edit what clips I've mustered to some really good 80s music (in a fun montage style). There is a moment in the footage I have where he claps several times and my plan is to speed ramp the clapping to sync the clip to the music but I want to replace the audio from the clip and with clapping sound effects I've recorded myself (so it fits the song better and has no background noise) However I want to apply 'gated reverb' to the clapping sounds I've recorded but I don't know how to do it personally and I was wondering if there are any steps-by steps anyone might be able to provide to help create this effect in Audition. And if not Audition maybe other software in the creative cloud? I have the full subscription so I can use anything on it. Thanks for your help
Hi community, I have searched around for a solution but it seems everyone has the opposite of my problem. The audio is normalized to -0.1 dB in waveform view, but when I bring the files into the multitrack, the audio exceeds 0.0 dB. I have checked my mixer and none of the faders are brought up. Additionally, the clip volume has not been changed. I am not using any presets or effects on the multitrack. From everything I see, the audio should be the same as it is in the waveform view. I have changed my multitrack settings to Left/Right cut (logarithmic) instead of the default -3 dB center. That is the advice for people encountering the opposite of my problem, which is that their mixdowns are quieter than they are in the multitrack view. When I mixdown, the levels stay the same. I have been racking my brain on this for an hour and cannot seem to find a single setting to explain it. I also cannot understand why a multitrack would boost my audio levels by default. Any help wo
Hello, I am starting out in Voice over and am using Audition for my DAW. I have a question I hope you can help me with. I suffer chronic rhinitis so am a heavy breather. I need to reduce the gain on my breaths. This is a time consuming problem. I use iZotope RX 9 and it catches most of my breaths, but to keep it from interfering with words that are breathy (like words ending with f or h) I need to keep the settings pretty light. That means while editing I have to manually process quite a few breaths still. What would be helpful is if I could set up a hotkey that would allow me to select the breath, press the hotkey, and have it lower the gain by -15dB. I would also like to be able to set a hotkey to add .5, 1.0, and 1.5 seconds of silence. Can anyone help me with this? Are either of these possible to do? Thanks! Rusty Jones
Have recorded a VO file of 35 minutes all morning and suddenly find numerous examples of the screen shot attached. has anyone seen this before please?
I've been using adobe audtion for a while now, but recently I've had these weird little boxes appear in to my track when I start editing. I have no idea what these are and why they've appeared, but they are really annoying. I am using a Motu M2 audio interface and a rode procaster mic. I've tried reinstalling audition, but the squares still appear
I want to adjust the volume of a selection so that it gradually gets louder or softer. One repeating feature of voice files is that people often lower their volume as they complete a sentence. It starts out strong, but then the volume fades. I moved from Goldwave to Audition. Goldwave had a feature called "shape volume" that allowed you to move points on a bar up and down across the length of a selected sound wave. So, you could select 5 seconds of a clip, then move the volume from 1 to 5 across the 5 seconds - so that the sound wave would get progressively louder. I could then "correct" the voice file so that the person's voice (sound wave) would go from fadeing in volume to steady in volume. Is there a way to do this in Audition? My compression SORT OF corrects for this, but is is global. I am wanting to do this for short selections of 3-10 seconds without changing the rest of the file.
