I can't believe the JKL keys don't work in Audition as they do in Premiere Pro. Why is there no useful and easy way to do it? Using clip stretching or modifying the JKL keys at 1.4x is not acceptable. I have seen posts asking for this fuction going back to 2012, almost 10 years and no fix? Seriously, how does anyone put up with Audition when it's missing this type of basic editing? Moved from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to the correct forum... I have a small company for which i would like to record voices for IVR like Welcome to XXX . I have the script . I would like to know in how many languages Adobe Audition can help me record the script
Please, can anyone here please guide me on how to make this audio recording clear? I tried a lot of effects already and nothing seemed to work. I wanted to remove the clicking sound that covers the hidden dialogs behind it. This is really important for me. Please.
I want to delete the marked portion of the track (PFA) without deleting the whole track. I have used heal option, but it didn't work, it only lower the sound in that part. So i think it's better to delete that part, but i don't know how to delete that. Pls anyone help me
I have this problem where a clicking or pop noise appear when i pause or start the sound in adove audition. The sound is smooth all the way till the end, but when it loops or when you pause the sound, it makes a clicking sound or pop noise that's very annoying. I wonder if there's a way to remove it or reduce it, i tried the noise reduction setting but that didn't help at all.
I have a track with hundreds of clips referencing the same file. I re-linked the source file to one which is longer. However, the clips now appear to be 0:45.130 out of sync with the original edits. I was thinking I could just slip edit them, but it seems like that can only be done one clip at a time. Is that right? Is there a way to relink a track to media that is a different length while keeping the cuts from the first part of the file? It would be great to be able to slip edit multiple clips at the same time.
Any ideas on how I can process my singing in audition to make it sound more clear and reduce background noise as well?
I'm editing a Sequence in Premier Pro that contains a multi-camera sequence with two cameras and a seperate audio channel. I do this quite often. I like to edit my audio as the final step in Audition. I selected "Edit in Adobe Audition>Sequence..." but when Audition opens I get this error message Error: File not supported by any currently registered plug-ins. I don't understand what "currently registered plug-ins" are, so I don't even know where to start troubleshooting this! I'm editing on a Mac running OS Big Sur 11.2, files are on an external SSD.All Adobe CC applications up to date. I've searched a number of old threads and tried their solutions but nothing is working. A couple of things I've tried: 1. Right clicking on all multicam clips and selecting Multicam>Flatten 2. Right clicking on all audio clips and selecting Render and Replace3. I've granted Audition with "Full Disk Access" in System Preferences>Security & Privacy Please le
So, this has started for no reason over the past two weeks and it's getting worse. I start a recording and the waveforms are showing as you would expect, then after no particular time, Audition fades out the audio I'm trying to record but continues to record nothing (if that makes sense). What should be a 6 minute process, ends up at 20 or more as I have to stop, start another file and find out where it stopped recording. total rubbish
I use Audition every day and yesterday it will not open from creative cloud. Please help.
I'm running Audition through a RODE Caster Pro (RCP) when recording I get distortion. It sound like I'm talking thru a electric fan... I've tried everything I can think of to correct the problem, with zero luck.I also use Audacity and have no probelms recording in that with the way the system is currently set-up.
I renamed obm.db. but i didn't solve the problem. Anyone can solve it?
I've got a smartphone video of people taking turns speaking from a lecturn in a large, reverb-rich indoor space. The spoken words are barely intelligible, and I'm hoping to improve the quality. I'm hearing two severe issues throughout:- Booming reverb/echoes- A warbly flange/under water effect; I'm thinking is a compression artifactPer helpful tutorials I've found online, I've played with Audition's DeReverb and tried minimizing echo by tweaking frequencies via Audition's parametric EQ, but the results are only marginally better.I'm especially wondering if there's a tool that might help remediate the warbly flange effect?Any suggestions for an amateur? Thanks.
Hi there, I have a 20 second .wav file that I drop directly into Audition. When I right-click it in the Files window and select "New Multitrack Session," it places this clip at the end of a 25 hour session. This makes it impossible to zoom and fine-tune the clip in the multitrack session. This is what it looks like when first creating it:And this is the most it can zoom in:
hi, im looking for an effect, that makes a mono channel to stereo: autamticall rotate to L and then to R, maybe i can set the "rhythm" of it... thankx
10 years ago...A proud Adobe Audition user by the name of _lauri_ asked a simple question."Is there a way to adjust horizontal scrolling speed (shift+scrollwheel)? In default settings I find it unusable slow."- 6th June 2011To celebrate this milestone of insufficient customer support/user experience, I thought I'd go ahead and make this post. As it stands today on the 1st of July 2021, there have been almost thirty thousand(!) paying customers of the Adobe Suite that have not had their need met.As a podcast editor by trade, it is obnoxiously inefficient to have a horizontal scrolling feature as slow as it is currently. Trying to edit sometimes 2 hour long podcast without an easy way to scrub through the timeline (or source file) is infuriating.Scrolling through the 10 year old thread with only 1 comment from an employee in that time was quite disheartening and highlights the lack of awareness Adobe has towards it's customers that use this software. So please Adobe... Celebrate this 10 y
Silly question, but in older versions one could serch for ma music library right in Audition. Now there is a link to download, but I only see SFX...no music.
I'm having this issue with recording audio in 32-bit where the peaks of the signal that exceeded 0dB are still being cut off when I reduce the gain after recording. I'm not being able to get the headroom that is expected when recording in 32-bit. The reason why I'm having high +0dB peaks is because I'm transferring audio from a Tascam 388 and some of that audio on the reels was recorded a bit in the red. I'm running from the Tape Outs on the 388 and have the input gain at minimum level on the interface that I'm using for transfer (Tascam 16x08) so I can't reduce the signal input volume any further. I'm recording the digital audio into Audition in 32-bit at 48kHz and again, when I try to recover the peaked audio I just get flat, cut off waveforms. Thanks in advance for any replies!

I am freaking out, becuase after an Audition crash, the reopened audition file (my version 11), says version 11, but is and old mix! PLEASE HELP me find a recent cache or something!!!
Hi everyone, First time seeking help here. I recorded an interview in a forest for a podcast. So we can hear the wind, and the sound is great on the waveform version...but as soon as I listen to the same clip on the multitrack, the sound is super high, the sound of the wind too, and even if I lower the sound, its quality is really less good. What should I do exactly? Thank you!Oh and...English is not my mothertong so if someone speaks French that would be wonderful. But anyway, I understand English too, but just try to not use slangs or too complicated words...thank you very much in advance!
As of 14.2, you can set the default stretch mode for a clip -- realtime or rendered -- but I don't think you can set the default stretch type -- monophonic, polyphonic, or varispeed. I want to default to varispeed, since I use stretching entirely to adjust speed and pitch. Having to manually set it each time is a bit tedious (at least you can set it for many clips at once!) Is there any way to make this the default? If not, it'd be great if it was added as a setting. (I saw a thread for this, but it's from 2017, so I'm not sure it's relevant now!)
Hello. How can I have vertical lines display automatically in Mulitrack view based on my selected tempo when the time is displayed in Bars and Beats? This is the default in Waveform view and I'm hoping I can set this as a default in Multitrack, too. Thank you!
