Need to find someone who uses or has used Adobe Audition for a simple question. I receive sound files; need to re-name and very slightly edit them, then post them to another site. Am having difficulty with this,.
I am using adobe audition 3.0, worked fine until I started fooling with the buttons my problem I am voice tracking for radio, Trk 1& 2 fine but when I arm trk 3 for mic input I get an echo sound that won't go away I can arm any other trk and I get the same echo sound, but when I record the voice in the edit it's just fine if anyone can help me I would appreciate it
I am so frustrated that Adobe doesn't have any phone numbers to help you fix technical problems! I simply want to talk to someone to see why my recording Adobe Audition software is giving me bad audio all of a sudden. I am on deadlines for clients and have nowhere to turn. I have searched online for an option to talk to someone and keep finding chat forums only. I am ready to drop my subscription but I want to see if there is someone to talk to before I make that decision. Has anyone ever been able to actually talk to a tech person by phone for Adobe Audition? Do you know a number?
I got this error after i send the audio from premire pro to adobe auditionWhat it can effectt? My daynmic link is broken?I need to click OK?
Can someone please explain to me how to select a portion of audio to get a noise print? No one seems to know how, including the customer Service people...anyone???
I have a registered copy of adobe audition 5_LS7 (suppose to be stand alone verson of CS6). From my account I downloaded to a new computer after my old one went bad. When I try to install it I get a message that, the serial no. is correct, but the product is not installed on the computer. I got one nice customer service person who said that I had to have a special installer program to now install 5_LS7 and he would connect me with someone who would provide me with a link and the help me install it. After more than 35 minutes on hold, the line went dead. I called back and another customer service person said that since my product was nering the end of life they would not provide phone support and I would have to go through community support. So is there anyone out there that could help me get this 9 year old program installed?
This is the message I get everytime I am trying to open Audition. Can someone help me please?
I'm using match loudness after I did all my edits in multitrack. I added effects, manually adjusted volume here and there moving the yellow line on a clip (I don't know what that line is called, it's where you put keyframes) and also added Amplify effect on some tracks. When I run Match Loudness now, the volume is loud to the pioint of being too lound and sounds distorted? Is it because Match Ludness works on the original recordings and not on the adjusted clips? What am I doing wrong? I'm matching loudness to ITU-R BS.1770-3 Loudness? Thanks
BACKGROUND:Changing the sample rate of a multitrack from 44100 to 48000 is nearly impossible in Audition. You can change the settings via a text editor manually, but if you have an already edited sequence all the clips can be way off time and unusable. But you know what CAN easily change sample rates for audio in a project? Premiere... I'm currenlty working on a podcast and have studio recordings made at 48000, and interviews edited at 44100. I wanted to copy and paste studio and interview edits into one timeline, and as many of you know, this is impossible if the sample rates of the multitracks are different. All the tricks or fixes I found here and other places failed because of the above issues with sync and timing of the edited clips. But then I rememered dynamic link from Premiere and Audition. HOW TO:I opened my 44100 project in Premiere via XML, and then changed the sequence settings from 44100 to 48000. I then sent the whole timeline (audio only) to my already ope
Hi, new user here. An audio effect controls window for every single clip in my project has opened and closing them all is taking hours! They remain after closing and re-opening the software. Is there a simple way to close them all?The problem may also be related to another problem I'm having- massive amounts of compression (I think) have been applied to every clip for that track and I've had to mute it to even work on the project.Any help appreciated!
Hi there, this is my first post ever in a forum like this but I think I´m going mad... I got plenty of years of audio engineering under my belt but recently switched to Audition because Logic Pro X refused to split stereo interleaved files to dual mono and I decided to give audition a try. I am pretty pleased with the layout and UI and everything but I came across a very peculiar problem with sidechaining. My situation is a interview situation with 2 lavalier mics:I am trying to put the dynamic processor plugin on both channels and cross-sidechaining them. So when Person A speaks Person B gets lower and vice versa... Problem 1 is whenever I put a send from one to the other, the other option gets grayed out. So when there is a sidechaining active on Person B I cannot send a sidechain back to Person A.... which is very peculiar. I totally understand this logic on normal Bussends, but maybe someone knows a workaround for this... Problem 2 is that I cannot get the
Hi I have a problem with my Audition when exporting to mp3. When I export in different mp3 settings, no matter if it is constant or variable type or it is 320 kbps, 96 kbps, low quality or highest quality, Audition exports the session to the same mp3 format each time. Everything is updated both MacBook and Audition. Someone who can help me out here?
I had my Media assignment due a few days ago, but got it delayed by my teacher. So today was the last due I got and 20 minutes ago I was 90% done of completion - took me around 30 hours to edit for 3 straight days. Then again, 20 minutes ago in the editing process I came around an error message saying this: ...which makes no sense because I constantly saved this for every even minimal change I added. I tried looking for a backup, but the latest one was 2 hours ago - which again; makes no sense cause I saved it so many times?? I'm deeply frustrated right now and would love to get some help, thanks.
To begin I'm a novice when it comes to audio editing. I use Audition because I have the CC subscription for some of the other programs.Anyways, me and two of my friends have a podcast that I use Audition to edit. We each record our own tracks at our own homes in Audacity and they upload them to my OneDrive folder so I can download the MP3 files. I then bring them into Audition and using the waveform editor create noise profiles and reduce the noise for each clip individually. Then I save them and bring them to the multitrack editor with our intro music. I apply an essential sound preset based of the podcast voice dialog preset and then silence, cut, trim, ect to the clips. This worked fine until a few episodes ago. Now when I go to export the multitrack I'll get clips where the volumn is boosted and it's just loud noise. On the track the clip might be boosted to 30-40 dB where it should be 5-10dB. It only happens on clips where that person isn't talking and after I export. For example t
have Allen heath mixwizard4 with optional usb card installed.Using Adobe audition in windows 10 laptop I have no playback sound during recording or mixdown etc.Sound setup in laptop and Audition all show mixwiz4usb as setting for "in" and "out" and volumes at 100%.Have been in touch with Allen Heath and received instructions on how to setup mixer...No change. All meters on DAW show content playing at appropriate levels...still no sound...My question obviously is "is there a master volume preset hidden deep inside Audition that I haven't found".
Hi, I'm an amateur with "Audition" but I realized that apparently "Melodyne" is already installed in Audition, is that possible? I've never downloaded it, but I can open it under VST3, Effects, Celemony => Melodyne. Although, there's a little window popping up, but it doesn't work at all. In that window there's nothing shown. Anyone knows what's up with that and is it true that Melodyne is included in Audition? If not, I may have to buy it then I guess. Thank you very much.
Hi Adobe community,I'm trying to figure out what happened to my audio. I created a multitrack session and was monitoring my input from a single microphone. Sounded great during recording. Saved the multitrack session, and came back to it a week later. Now, whenever I play anything, it sounds like the random beeps an angry robot would make, with no trace of the original audio. The waveform is blocky and computerized, and it seems anything related to my original audio, except perhaps the amplitude and spacing of the waveform, is completely gone. I have no idea how this happened. Attaching a link to the file so you can see it.Would appreciate any insight you can give, thanks.Problematic Audio - Google Drive
I am making my way through 52 files/chapters of an audiobook, fixing rough patches, removing whistles, sibilance, and mouth noises. I have been doing this in the boutique fashion -- every single action is executed by me. I have eschewed processing because of its tendency to take the warmth and human quality out of the voice. On files with the Adaptive Noise Reduction applied, there is a maddening high-pitch whine under the dialogue, and some very bizarre, whooping sounds in place of certain words. Wondering if there is a SAFE way to use the Adaptive Noise Reduction tool, adjusting until it cleans out just the bits I want out, and preserves the richness of the voice.Wading through the user guide, and will share what I learn. Does anybody have any guidance on this?Thanksrob
Have Audition CC which has been performing well for a few years. Audio level input to Audition is suddenly way down and audio quality is degraded. Could be audio circuitry in my computer. For purposes of trouble shooting, would like to install Audition CC on a second computer.
Hello,i have a problem with adobe audition.Today I tried to record something, with the electric guitar.I connected it to the sound card: the SSL 2.In Adobe Audition I go to PREFERENCES> Audio hardware> DEVICE and choose: "Solid State Logic ASIO driver" which are those of the SSL2 card.I start recording but I can't hear anything in the headphones (the headphones are connected to the PC using the normal headphone jack input). The recording track exists, but I can't hear anything in the headphones! It is indispensable when playing the electric guitar. XDFinished recording I go to the settings above and change the DEVICE to: "ASIO4ALL v2".So here I can finally hear the audio I had recorded.how do you think i can hear the audio while i'm playing?do I have to change the driver every time and go back to ASIO4ALL?🙂
Hello, I have to do the mixing of a 90-minute documentary. The team delivered me only 3 files of 90 minutes each, from their FinalCut Pro X session: - Video in mp4 - The "musics" track in wav - The "direct sounds" track in wav (interviews, live sound, cutaways etc, all in a row on the same track) So I split the direct sounds track into several pieces (practically one piece per shot or per sequence) in a multitrack session. But if I apply an effect to one piece, it applies it to the entire 90 minute wav file. How do I do the mix shot by shot, with different effects on each "piece" of the clip? Thank you for your help
Currently it offers 44kHz 32bit Wave PCM with "Include markers and other metadata" checkbox set, and doesn't look like willing to preserve my latest "save as" settings. Which is annoying as those default settings are totally not what I need. Saving and using a custom settings preset is also annoying is it forces to select it from the dropdown menu. I value my time. How can I avoid those extra steps and just click the Save button?
I started a recording for a video in Audition (14.2.0.34) and noticed that the waveform looked a little off, so I stopped the recording and played it back to see if anything was concerning. I found no issues, so I hit record again, continuing from the end (or near-end) of the file.2 hours later, I alt-tab back into Audition to see that it was started not responding occasionally and that most of the windowed were white. This wasn't an unusual occurrence with long recordings like this one. I'd usually just use Task Manager to 'End Task' and re-open the program, where it would prompt me asking whether I wanted to open the previous, unsaved recording. I'd open it, the full recording would be there and everything would be fine. This time, however, it reopened to only that short first recording where I had noticed something looking off, and then stopped the recording. Is there any way to get the rest of that 2 hour recording back? I am fairly certain that the program was still recording
I tried to link export audio (from the latest version of Adobe Audition) to iTunes, but iTunes won't recognize my exported audio. If the multitrack was made before mid-May 2021, exported audio can be linked to iTunes. What happened with my exported audio after mid-May 2021?(Those with pink encircles are the problematic ones.)
