Hi guys,What am I doing wrong?I finished mixing my session and want to export it out as an mp3 but as you can see in the image attached, all of the export options are greyed out.If I highlight the actual WAVs in the multi-track session then I have one option available which is the last one - 'Selected Clips' but then when I click ok to export the file never is created and it doesnt say error or anything. I select export selected files and nothing exports and nothing happens at all.

Hi! I am trying to export podcasts as MP3 files to utilize smaller file sizes for longer content. I go to export my multitrack session File>Export>Multitrack Mixdown>Entire Session and when I select MP3 format I cannot select "OK" to export - there is a message saying "the currently selected filter cannot save all files in the needed format." I am only able to export the file as a WAV which can be too big for posting. I am at a loss - any recommendations to what setting I should be changing or adjusting? Thank you!! 

A .wav file I exported from Audition on a Mac is acting strangely on playback in AfterEffects. The sound doesn't actually play until about .3 seconds into the clip. This occurs on Mac only. On a PC the file plays fine. When viewed in Audition on both platforms the file waveform is identical. The file plays fine in AfterEffects on a PC. But in AfterEffects on my Mac, the beginning is truncated. On my Mac, the file plays correctly in Quicktime Player, VLC, and Apple Music. It only misbehaves in AfterEffects.

I am using Audition to do audiobooks, which require 44100hz sample rate. However, some of my files are  playing back deeper and have to change the sample rate to 48000 to sound normal.Unfortunately, Audible will NOT accept 48000, only 44.100Advice???

I somehow deleted the Multitrack and Waveform buttons in the top left corner. I have tried about 20 different "missing buttons" search terms on Google and cannot find a way to restore them. Please advise how I can get them back, thanks in advance! 

In adobe audition when we copy the files and paste it in a new file and if we export it it is reducing the voloume of the file why?

Hello.I have a fairly modern PC (Win 10x64, Intel Core i7-14700K, MSI Pro Z790-A Max, 32444 MB (DDR5 SDRAM), Samsung SSD 980 PRO 1TB). Audition, and all related files, are located on the SSD. The system is configured for maximum performance (no power saving).Audition 24.0.0.46The file processing time using four VST3 plugins seems long to me.For example, a 35.8MB FLAC трек, 44100Hz-16bit, is processed in one minute.FLAC 118MB 96000Hz-24bit is processed in 2 minutes 35 seconds. That's a long time.Audition can't process one track, in multiple threads, using multiple cores?How can I reduce track processing time?

How to Get the Input Volume of the Mic Recording in Adobe Audition?

Hi,I am making a video for a friend's memorial serivce. It was recorded in a large meeting hall with a high ceiling, using an iPhone that was not placed all that close to the monitors. I know that produces less than optimal audio. I would have done it differently, but it was not my call. The end result is that I have to try to clean up the audio. The sound is muffled, low, with a lot of echo. I was able to make some of the files at least passable, and added subtitles to help with understanding the words, but there is one file (attached) that I cannot clean up well enough. The speaker is a young woman with a lot of high-mid in her voice I am sending the source file, but I have tried Parametric EQ (w/High and Low Pass Filters), Dynamics Processing, Noise Reduction (with selected Noise Print), DeVerb, and playing around with the Spectral Frequency Display. These techniques provide some improvement, but it is still not clear enough. Is there something I can do to help m

Audition crashed and the .sesx file I was working on is now corrupted.  When I try and open it, or any of the automatically created backup files, I continually got the following error: Warning: 101 of the 101 clips have no file asset: 722550__memeshift__276-gongageng-gongmallet-centerhardest, 722550__memeshift__276-gongageng-gongmallet-centerhardest, 722568__memeshift__294-kempulensemble-pelog-kempulmallet-1h-center, 670414__iainmccurdy__kempul-6 48000 1, [... it goes on...] About 60% of the session is ok, but many of the files in the middle are completely missing and unfortunately, the option to "link media" is grayed out, so I can't manually relink the files.  When I open the file in a text editor, I can see that the paths to the missing files are all correct.  I checked that no permissions have changed and I'm still able to drag the files back into the session without a problem, but there seems to be no way to recover the mix.   The error window

I have a Shure MV7X microphone => Cloud Lifter => Port 2 front panel Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd gen. All I want to do is record a mono .wav file from this microphone. (Then do a little basic post in Adobe Audition, then import that into Digital Performer.) I'm spinning my wheels. I've tried: * Audio Hardware = MME, Default input = Microphone (2 Microphone). This works except that the signal levels are mediocre at best. * Audio Hardware = Focusrite USB ASIO. So then I choose Preferences | Audio Channel Mapping, and File Channles 2 => Input 2.  If I do FIle | New | Audio file, my options are File Name, Sample Rate, Channels (I pick 'mono'), BIt depth, but nothing about selecting a particular input port. If I do File | New | MultiTrack Session, I can crank up the input gain (but Focusrite Control shows PLENTY of input signal) and get it to work. I haven't done it yet, but presumably I'd export this one track (of 8!) to a proper mono .wav file?

 Learning how to use Audition through trial-and-error (mostly error), and have a sample that I've been trying to learn about reducing background noise. How would you remove the distortion/hum/fuzz/noise from the background of this "scary movie scream" mp3 file? 

So does this software have the ability to enhance he sound of a movie. If so how do i do it manually what are the functions that need to be applied

How do I stop double screens appearing when I open Adobe Audition 3

Hi all,I'm an infrequent user of Audition, but I have a 28GB multitrack Mac AIFF file that I'm trying to import. If I start a new multitrack project and drag it into the Audition timeline, it imports all tracks (28 of 'em) in the correct order, but it only imports 10:44 of the file. It should be a little over 2 hours. The MediaInfo app tells me the file is "Duration: 2 h 15 min" which sounds right.What can I do to import this file into Audition correctly? Thanks for any advice! Audition 25.0.0.47 running in macOS Sonoma 14.7.2 on MacBook Pro with Apple M3 Max

I've running the latest 2025 version o Audition. I'm on Windows 10I have a USB mic - nothing fancy,Under Windows Sound Settings - Under the Recording Tab I can see my mic, It's active, When I make noise the green bars move.  When I open Audacity (free audio software) I can record my voice, I can see feedback, it's working. But In Audition it's not working. I've checked Audio Hardware Input - it's set to my micI've checked Audio Channel mapping and it's mapped to my Mic.  I've rebooted my PC many times, but nothing it working. I've made this little video showing what i've tried. https://screenrec.com/share/8Y9cVBPzqXCan anyone help? 

Summary: Audition is frequently and randomly crashing. I'm working on a podcast which uses a lot of movie clips and a few different interview tracks. A lot of the video files are mp4s, but they seem to be generating new wav files fine. My Conformed Files folder is huge. It was working fine for about a month and then it started to crash on me. Now it's happening all the time and I can't figure out why! I've reached out to Adobe support twice: once through chat and one phone call. Nothing has worked. So far I have done all of the following trouble shooting steps: reset preferences, trashed preferences, restarted machine, updated OS, updated audition, uninstalled/re-installed audition, cleaned media cache, different external hardrives, and tried on a different computer and a different user and still crashing.  All other adobe software is working fine and stable.  I have saved crash reports if that would be helpful (sample below).  Here's more technical i

I am making recordings from mindisc or DAT using the spdif cable into a LogiLink 7.1 channel soundbox UA0099. However, the final file is recorded too slow so that it sounds faster and a couple of semitones higher. Whatever I do, I can't correct this. What am I doing wrong or what changes do I need to make to Audition? Thanks in anticipation.

I've been using Adobe Audition on a project that I've been working on for a while.  I use time/pitch effects to facilitate some of my work.  In one option, which I believe was Stretch and Pitch (process), there were several sliders that allowed me to alter and customize.  I relied on those for what I'm doing.  They are gone.   Why?  What was the design decision that would change the UI/UX in that manner?   Can I downgrade to a prior version?   How can I fix this (if at all)?   Thanks!

When I try to open Audition from the Creative Cloud ap it says "Audition cannot access the preference folder. Please make sure current user has the read/write permission to the preference folder".It is the latest ver 11.I've done the following1. Checked preferences. I'm there with read/write permissions.2. Uninstall/reinstall - did it.3. Opened a few other apps from the Creative Cloud...no problem. Just seems to be with Audition.4. I am on a Mac.Of course I was at the start of a recording session which I've had to cancel. This is costing me money. Not good Adobe.

I want to convert a 20-minute file into 240 multi-second files in Adobe Audition. However, I don't want to manually arrange them in descending order on the subsequent tracks after splitting them in the Multitrack view. Is there a way to have my splits automatically arranged in descending order on the next tracks?
