Hoping someone can help me out here. I just "upgraded" my audition, and "Punch and Roll" by Travis Baldree was not carried over from the previous version - when I went to re-install it, I'm getting a "not compatible" message. Would like this to work - what can I do?
Hi guys, I have two seperate lav mic recordings of two people, one is the interviewer and the other is the interviewee. I have synched the tracks together in premiere pro and sometimes there is no reverb but sometimes there is and it sounds echoey/tinny. How can I combine the two tracks so that it only uses the audio when the person is speaking and vice versa for the other track? Obviously I will want some volume on each track at both times so that the levels aren't up and down and you still hear the ambient noise but what is the best way of doing this in audition or premiere pro? Thanks
Just started playing around with stereo recordings after using shotgun mono mic previously. So recording with 2 mics into zoom f6 and when I bring the clip into audition I am presented with 4 tracks. The first two would appear to be mono according to them having exactly the same levels and the other two have the level separation you would expect from stereo recording. So what's the deal here? Should I keep them all? Want to try general ambience recording but don't want a mono sound.
My older computer crashed and need to find Audition 3.0 to reainstall on new computer. Any help would be wonderful
Upon update, my ability to use the audio plugin manager is gone. I go to it under effects, audio plugin manager and select it, at which the program grays out as if a pop up dialogue box has opened but one HAS NOT OPENED! Congradulations Adobe, youve managed to yet again wreck a functioning feature with another update. UGH. Why cant you focus on making your products rock solid, instead of making new features or aquiring new features from other companies and rolling them out way too soon. We need functional software, not pretty junk. Ok rant over. The Program window cannot be moved and is completely unresponsive until esc is hit, thus "Closing" the invisible dialogue box. Attached is a picture of the open programs/windows when the missing box should be visible. It is not on any other screens. Windows 10 Pro fullly updated as of this post. Hello,I wanted to know how to get this effect. I doubt that it is indeed the filter andequalizer of the sound, I have no idea of this one.So I gave you the MP3 file here. (I know how to do the reverse reverb etc, the glitch effect, but I cannotreally get the filter, the effect of the sound. Please if you can help me, I'm here! Thanks for your time !
Hello to the community, I'm having one annoying as can be issue with either Premiere or Audition or the workflow between them, but either way I could use someone's help. I have a mono clip from a lav mic I synced with the video using "Synchronize" in premiere. Afterwards I clicked "Edit in Adobe Audition", cleaned up the noise, then converted to stereo (dual mono). I applied a slight delay effect to fake a stereo sound but after I save it and go back to Premiere the audio file updates to a dual mono, not true (fake) stereo. What's really weird is you can see that there are two identical channels when you look at the volume, but when you look at the timeline it's displayed as a mono track. I even tried to open up "Audio Channels" and duplicate the track again but it's only displaying options for one track. This is all just really weird. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
How, if there is a way, can I fix an echo-y room audio recording?! I recorded video off of a DSLR camera and the audio was recorded separately, but I have somehow lost the audio so I am trying to salvage the video recordings by using the audio recorded from the back of the camera. Is there ANY WAY to fix this?! Thank you!
I have a USB microphone. My operating system is Windows 10.. My Adobe Audition is Version 1. It will not recognise my microphone and I have the same problem with Audacity.Has anyone any ideas as to how to correct this please?
I know that Audition has the Sound Remover tool and you can train it on specific sounds and there is even a preset for "Remove Ahh and Umm". However, when I am editing an interview and when I try to use the preset, it removes basically nothing. If I train it on an instance of the speaker saying "Umm", it'll remove that specific instance and no others. Am I doing something wrong? I'm already paying for Audition, I'd rather not have to spring for Descript or some other tool in addition.
Hey so I sent a sequence from Premier to audition to apply some auto ducking. The problem I am having is when I adjust the "reduce by", the ducking is only working on one channel, so the left sides volume is going up and down the the right side is not being affected. Any ideas?
Having issues with exporting mixdowns from audition back to Premier. Mix sounds fine in audition but on export each time the mix is coming back out of phase. See screen grab & I have pulled a short clip out. Any ideas what might be causing this? Not had this issue before, no idea what is going on. going to run updates & ususal house keeping. thanks for any help.
Hi! I have some multichannel broadcast wav files (6 channel, 8 channel). They are actually multichannel music, but not being used as 5.1 or 7.1 tracks. Is there a way to mix the indivdual channel levels, instead of the level of the whole multichannel track? i.e. be able to pull up or down the indivual channels in the 6 or 8 channel track? I know I could extract them into 6 or 8 mono files, mix them that way, and then rejoin them and export it as a multichannel track, but... I prefer to do it this way for editing purposes (making it simpler to edit one track instead of 6 or 8 tracks, for a number of other reasons.) Thanks!
I just updated to v22 from 14 and none of my pref/keyboard commands/plug-ins etc. carried over. How do I copy these to the new version?
Hello, I've just installed Audition and Audition Beta on a new Windows 10 desktop, and although I've been to: C:\Users\'Username'\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition [or Audition (Beta)]\ ...on my old computer and copied the relevant folders and then pasted them into the directory on the new computer, the only thing that seems to have migrated over is my custom workspace. None of my presets are there, none of my favorites are there, and none of my keyboard shortcuts are there. Am I missing something? Surely there is a way to move all those things over when I install Audition on a new machine? Thanks,Brian

Well, it never stops lagging! Not when I'm recording audio, and especially not when I'm editing Audio with Video. It never stops! I can't get rid of it! I did anything I could! I have NVIDIA graphic card, Intel i7 9th core, 16GB RAM...Why the hell is this happening? What the hell I can do?! I can't work like that!
My 30' session [radio programme] comprises 30 clips on 6 tracks, roughly. I get no audio or level metering (track or master) when playing a session. Same if I open one of the clips alone in Waveform. This is a session from a backup folder, created by Audition. Other sessions in that folder of this programme are the same, but sessions in the same folder for other programmes are normal. If I add a clip to one of the tracks, that plays [audio and level metering]. Muting and soloing tracks makes no difference. I also selected all clips, muted, then un-muted - no change. This has me stumped. Any ideas, please?
1) Question 1: PanningI have imported sound (32 bit float, 96khz) and all is good.Created a Bus, all good. But for some reason I cannot pan the individual tracks. Each track is on "default stereo input", is that wrong? 2) Question 2How do I view the track main window on top and view the mixer window in the lower area? 2) Question 2: 96khz on macbookproIf I restart my computer I can usually get the default mac output to play 96khz, but is there an easier way to default there? Also is there a way to hear 96khzwith headphone on a macbookpro. Thanks for putting up with beginner questions.Bill G
Any advice on breaking a long multitrack project into gapless stereo tracks for streaming - with no clicks or pops on transitions. Do I need to use markers to define the split points? If so, how does exporting work? Thanks
First Man Landing This is how it sound like as example the people talking, is it possible to make this?
Hi there,I've recently bought a Rode Complete Studio Kit that includes the AI-1 Interface. While it has excellent preamps and works well using MME and WASAPI drivers, on my fully updated Windows 10 (20H2) machine, Rode's ASIO drivers do only work at a Sample Rate of 48000 Hz in Audition. As soon as I change the Sample Rate to any other value, Audition tells me that the "device could not be opened".The error occurs in Audition 13.0.13, 14.0 and the current Beta version – it occurs regardless of whether I check "Use machine-specific device defaults" and if I attempt to force the hardware to the document's Sample Rate, I end up with the driver running at 48000 Hz anyway (with no audio being recorded above 24 kHz, even though it should, had forcing the hardware actually succeded). The Sample Rate settings in Windows for input and playback devices do not affect the error at all. It's also worth noting that the exact same thing happens if I try the same settings in Adobe Premiere, which I as
Running into a very strange problem. In the waveform view of an mp3 file, I'm seeing a section of peaked audio -- amplitude statistics are below. My sound engineer client, who created the file in ProTools, says that there's a hard limit at -4 dB and it's not possible for there to be clipping. Is there a setting for the Audition meters that I'm not seeing? Are files getting imported with a volume boost somehow? I've pushed back on this twice already and I want to make sure all my bases are covered before I hit send a third time.
In Audition, I have been recording narration for a year. I have changed no settings and now when I record, the playback has a delay that I can't get rid of... Any thoughts?
There should be a way to copy & paste keyframes in Audition.I have a revised music track but the rest of the audio is the same. I'd like to copy the volume keyframes from the old music track to the revised track, as the dips will all remain the same for the revised track, rather than doing all the work all over again.'Seems like this should be a simple copy/paste attributes but I can't find any option to do that.Am I missing something somewhere?I'm using Audition CC Build 11.1.0.184On a mid-2014 MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.13.3Note: I'm cross posting this to Audition CS5.5, CS6 & CC.Thanks!~ART~
