Dear Community,i made my first steps in Audition and i am currently working on the wav. File which i have attached. The Interview was recorded with a Zoom H4n Recorder, which had to be placed relatively far away (about 1 metre) from the person. It was recorded in a lecture hall ... so there is quite a lot of noise going on in the background. My interview partner had a bassy voice too.It is really tricky for me to remove the noise and keep the voice of the interviewed person as natural as possible. Therefore i may ask you to lend me your ear and your experience on that audio file! What would be the best way to edit that file in your opinion?Thank you very much in advance!
I'm a birder, and recording near roadways I sometimes pick up passing cars. How do I eliminate their sound in Audition. Fortunately they are low freqency sounds and bird songs are normally much high. But the road noise distracts from the bird songs.
HelloI am submitting a small clip of a film I just started to work with . This video is from a studio shoot for a television session recorded in 1990. The film has an audio glitch here and there. The audio in this segment begins with Don's listenable articulation and then about 14 seconds into this segment there is a definite glitch. Is that because of a faulty line feed?I need to inform management at this non profit organization that that audo discrepancy is because of a wiring glitch -or a poorly transfered video from master to copy master - or something other.Let me know if you have an insight into this audio glitch - that may be unrepairable.Thanks!https://youtu.be/PlppKQjMDps

It plays fine on my computer and other files upload fine. no clue what the problem is. please help!!!
Hello all. I'm about to move from Audacity to Audition and I'd like to ask a few questions about voice editing and sound effects. I'm interested in learning how to turn a stock voice recording into something that sounds like it's outside - say with a high-pass filter and a reverb - something that is done in the Battlefield video games.Compare these two videos:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pd_GaxxLbcs&t=171shttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiycHLFyposIn the first you have (in the beginning) the stock, unedited voiceline. In the second, you have an echo/reverb and what is presumably a high-pass filter added.I'm completely new to sound editing, and I want the results to sound *exactly* like the second video. All my attempts so far have been hit and miss, just shy of the sweet spot that I'm looking for. Can anyone give any tips, or perhaps attempt to replicate the sound and post the result with an explanation on how it was done?Thank you very much in advance.
I created a mutlitrack podcast and uploaded two separate audio files with a host interview track and a guest interview track. Each sounds great but when I listen to them as multitack I hear a horrible echo. HELP

Hello, I am having a problem exporting a multitrack session (.sesx) with mp3 source files. This is what i do: - I open the session export widnow (File > Export > Session)- I add the name & location (I leave the format)- I select "Include markers and other metadata in session"- I select "Save copies of associated files" and click on "Options" - In options i select "Convert files" and make the format MP3 320kbps and i keep the sample rate the same- I select "copy entire source files" from the dropdown- I select "Overwrite existing files"- I leave "Include Video" unselected- I select "Include markers and other metadata"- I click "OK"- Then click "OK" on the previous box When i look at the exported files they are all WAV... Does anyone know why this is the case and how to fix it? Thanks so much!
I regularly find myself arming a track for recording while forgetting to un-arm the previously recorded track. This multi-selecting behaviour differs completely from Windows user style guide where additive selections are done by CTRL-clicking. I couldn't find an appropriate setting in Audition. Is there a setting to change this behaviour, so that arming a track will automatically un-arm a previously selected track when CTRL key is not held down?
After using CS6 for an hour or so it stops playing. It won't respond to the "play" button. I can do everything else, move clips, mixdown, etc, just no response to the "play" button on record or playback. I have to reboot for it to start functioning again. What's going on? - jwells1233@aol.com
I know how to assign id3 tags to an overall podcast in Adobe Audition, but I would also like to know how to assign different id3 tags to different sections of a podcast, so that the tags will display when listeners are hearing the podcast. So, in other words, they will change as to which section of the podcast is playing. The only video and tutorials I'm finding show how to assign one set of tags to an entire podcast. Can anyone help? Thanks very much in advance.
Help! We spent all afternoon recording tracks directly in a Multitrack Session in Audition 5.0 running on Windows 10. The tracks played back, and all function seemed normal. After we'd finished, I saved the Session (.sesx file), hoping to resume in the morning. When I went back into the file today, I recieved an error that all the files were offline. When I go into the "_Recorded" File, it only displays a couple of practice takes that I did while setting up. I ran a search on all ".wav" and ".pk" files on my computer, and I can't find a thing! Is there any way to recover all these recordings? Thank you in advance for your time!
Audition 2020 Build 13.0.7.38 Why when Reverb is assigned to a Bus track, are the Characteristics (Decay Time, Pre-Delay Time, etc..) not editable? See attached screen recording.
Running on a 2015 iMac 27inch Retina on Mojave (10.14.6). About half the time I open the app, the splash screen hanges and I have to force quit. When the application does open successfully, I'll do my work, and then when I go to close the app, it hangs on close requiring that I force quit. Any idea what's going on with this?
I installed Audition 3.0 because I have closed my Adobe account except for Photoshop. When I boot Audition 3.0 it asks me to register. I can't register by Internet or Phone. How do I get it registered? I am furious that I can't register it. If you don't allow me to register this software, I will go on a forum rant all over the planet recommending we cancel our accounts and use other software.
Hey all! First of all, I'm much more of a Premiere/After Effects/Photoshop/Illustrator guy; I'm pretty new to Audition, so if anyone can describe what I want in better terms, let me know! I've captured an old homemade audio cassette from the 1980s and, while that's mostly gone okay, there's a moment where, for maybe about a minute toward the beginning, the volume and treble completely drop down and the audio is extremely low and muffled. You can see the glaring drop in the spectral frequency display below in (A). I've tried EQ, compression, noise reduction, etc., but either I'm doing it wrong or I haven't managed it. I've been Googling this for a while but I don't even know how to explain verbally what it is I want to do. I'd like to take lower frequency sounds and move/stretch them up into higher frequencies so it matches the rest of the audio. I'm sure they're just plain gone on the audio tape but I'd like to even know if I can shift the lower frequencies into higher f
Newbie alert... I just learned how to convert an audioclip from a 33.3 rpm vinyl record to 78 rpm, here:https://community.adobe.com/t5/audition/converting-33-recording-to-78-how/td-p/9448709?page=1 What I need is similar but probably harder. I am developing a web application based on a segment from a 2013 TV program. Only the first seconds are relevamt: (link removed) The clone of that segment is an interactive application, under construction, seen below. Notice how the user has two degress of freedom: the vector's magnitude and its angle. (link removed) I already have the code that will receive those two variables as the user drags the mouse around. The effects will be: - Vector Magnitude changes: the voice volume increases/decreases. This is most likely the easy part. - Vector Angle changes: as it is modified the pitch (listen to the two extremes attached) will vary. What I need is the back-end part (lib
Pre-sets will not open in Essential Sound Panel in Audition. The panel is there but it will not show the presets. I have the file selected and is a waveform file. Thank you
Running Audition 13.07 and an issue (previously reported here) with saved files become "offline" and need to re -associate files before closing session. Post said to use the Beta version of Audition which had solved that problem. It did solve that problem but now the Beta version freezes and crashes frequently and I am losing edits in the sessions. I report on the crashes but working like this is untennable with the amount of work I have to do. Any help is appreciated. **and BTW I am operating an older iMac with iOs High Sierra 10.13.6
Hello,Since the Audition update (13.0.7), the display of the plug-in: Loudness Radar (TC Electronics) has become tiny. Is there a setting that I missed to correct the size of the graphic display or is it a real "bug"? If so, will Adobe take the initiative to correct this?
Where do I add an ISRC number in Audition's Metadata?

So as you can see in the screenshot, even though each track I can solo and hear the individual audio tracks the waveforms all show as the same. How can I rebuild them or determine what is up?
