How can I prevent the pop-up menu from appearing when I right click on a track to move it where needed? This has been frustrating & I need to know ASAP so that I can move these tracks around for a project due very soon!
So far every time I export my project in Audition CC 2018 my entire track has glitches. There is no clipping in volume, the project is fine when being worked on but exported it sounds like a digital mess of sounds. I went on another computer with Audition CC 2017 and it exported just fine. It looks like during the export it skips the last 50% but the track length is the same as in the project. It was a big waste of time and money. I've also tried changing drivers and disk drive locations and nothing has worked.
Hello. Has anybody tried TAL-Vocoder? I'm new to VST plugins, so I'm probably missing something really basic. After installing TAL-Vocoder, I can see two entries in the Effects menu: TAL Vocoder-2 and TAL Vocoder II Plugin. Adding either of them to Track 1 with an audio file makes the track silent. I guess some additional routing is required, but I couldn't find any instructions for that
I am new and practicing. I made a multitrack recording, then saved, then closed. When I came back and reloaded the recording, the recording will not play. I push the play button and the recording doesn't start playing. Why? What have I done, how do I fix it, and how do I not create the issue in the first place?
Hello. I have a Multi-Track session recorded in Audition CC 2015. The whole project is only 2 minutes and 30 seconds long. When I export the "Entire session" as a WAV file, it always adds an empty 30 seconds to the WAV file, making it 3 minutes long. The session is trimmed exactly at 2 minutes and 30 seconds, with no remaining data past that time within my project. Why is Audition adding these seconds to my WAV during exporting and how can this be stopped? Thanks in advance!
Wow... After following the path listed on the Adobe site to get phone-based help with "How to's" I was told by a phone support analyst that Adobe no longer offers any phone support outside of installation, bugs & break/fix (Thanks Adobe - way to stand behind your product... NOT), and he even said that their phone calls were recorded and reviewed so he'd get in trouble if he helped me actually USE the software I'm paying for. I remember a time when companies actually cared and supported the software they wrote when users needed help - especially media editing software whose projects are usually on a tight deadline. Those were the days... So, since apparently there's no such thing as Adobe phone support anymore I suppose I'll post here to see if someone can help me get through this even with the deadline. Here goes:I have a project that I created and edited in Audition CC 2018 for Mac and then once back in the studio I opened it in Audition CC 2018 for Windows
I have some audio tracks that were made from phone recordings. One track, both parties on the same track. The person recording the call sounds fine, and I know there is no way to make the person on the other end sound as good. But what chance do I have for significantly improving the voice on the other end?I have posted a link to a small sample. Thanks!Alligator 2 Mixdown by Project Meatball
Is it possible to change multiple inputs on the mixer at one time? It would be nice to select 18 (or 32) tacks and change them to the 18 (or 32) inputs without having to do it individually. I know I can set up a template, but . . .
Gracias
Hi,I never really used Audition before and I am kind of lost with the following problem. I want to record an skypeinterview with my voice from the microphone on one track and the interviewee from Skype on a separate track. In the Audio Hardware Tab only MME is available for Device Class and under Default Input both my Mic and the Stereomix (where I want to capture Skype from) are available. But I can only only chose one of them, and thus I can only record one of the two sources as inputs for the tracks.I am using CS6.Any help on how to record Stereomix and the Mic on separate channels is greatly appreciated.Thx
HelloI'm using CS6, and a problem has popped out from nowhere: Occasionally, there is crackling and static in the background. It's not consistent or regular. I've replaced a pre amp, changed a compressor, and it's still there. You can see some of the static in this file. It's throughout, but easily seen at the end. Thanks in advance!
Hello,i rencently bought a soundcard Yamaha ag03 and i am using it at 192 khz with the Steinberg usb driver.I work on a project in premiere pro and at the same time with Reaper DAW, the files i am working with on premiere have been recorded at 48kHz sample rate, coming from a go proThe first problem is , if it do not set the Steinberg usb driver to bet running at 48kHz i am experiencing hudge lags and image rollbacks in premiere, the only way to fix this is first to set the sound card driver to be running at 48 kHZ and then go in premiere pro, settings, audio hardware and select MME ( Asio doesn work for some reason??) and restart premiere. The second problem is that i am running Premiere and Reaper at the same time and i would like to be able to set the Sample rate at 192 kHz for Reaper, but its impossible because premiere pro will lag if i do that.So my question is, is there any driver or solution i could use to avoid lags and be able to run both programs at the same time at the highe
Probably not really but I think something got turned on or off by mistake (I'm a novice here). I edit Premiere clips in Adobe Audition to turn down breaths, and auto-heal pops/clicks and lately the waves are automatically zooming in and out while I am listening and watching for breaths and pops/clicks. I constantly have to readjust the image then it will automatically zoom in and out for pretty much the entire duration of the audio. I am unable to keep the wave at one size.*I use and laptop with a touch pad but I find it quicker for me to use a mouse to auto-heal and the spacebar to stop/go. It's taking me significantly longer to edit several minutes of audio because of this issue - I appreciate any advice! (FYI Cross posted in Premiere)
I am trying to add effects such as reverb and speed to specific portions of a track and blend/modify these effects in and out but cannot seem to do it without cutting the track up.For example, I would like the beginning of the track to be stretched and gradually speed up to normal. Any advice on how to do this? I have tried searching but perhaps I am using the wrong terminology.
I sent this feedback, then wondered if I was missing something: I would like to be able to see my "Favorites" just like I can see my Presets, so I can see what they actually do. In some cases, it was a while ago that I set them up so I don't always remember. I know I can save Favorites as presets (painfully, extra work; it would be cool to have a checkbox that would let me optionally save in both places), but I don't use them the same way. I use my Presets for settings I'll want for a long time, and Favorites for effects I either use very frequently (often also saved as a Preset) and for effects specific to a project (eg vocalist eq). Sometimes I find that I like a project-specific Favorite effect well enough to keep it as a Preset, but I can't, nor can I see what it specifically does. So, please make these visible and editable and saveable a standard presets, and maybe even link them. Please tell me if I missed part of the boat on this...
I'm pretty sure that this is possible, but I want to make sure that it actually is before I spend a couple of hours or days watching tutorials and trying to figure out how to make it work. I know that adobe audition has an auto silence remover. It scans your waveform and removes and clip that is longer than a certain time frame and under a certain decibel level. Premiere does not have such tool. This is unfortunate because it would be very helpful to get rid of all the awkward pauses and such. Is it possible to edit a video in Audition? Like when Audition deletes the silent parts of the audio it also ripple deletes the corresponding video frames. From some very light research I'm assuming that you can do this because I know you can import videos into Audition. So is this possible and if so, is it relatively easy?
So I have been trying to figure out this quandry for a little while now and have tried a few things but I haven't been able to get it to work: I have two audio files from two different Lav mics on people ahving a conversation. The quality on the Lav from person A is a lot higher than the quality on the lav from person B (Technical difficulties). The sounds from the conversation bleed over between lavs, Person B can be heard on the lav worn by person A, and vica versa. I would like to silence the recording of Person B whenever Person A is talking and silence the recording of Person A whenever Person B is talking. Is there a non-manual way to do this?I have tried the center channel extractor and it did have some effect but I was wondering, since I have a good recording of person A would Audition be able to use that to remove their half of the conversation from the track for person B?Also I have tried reversing the polarity but it had absolutely no effect? Thanks for your help. I can provi
I'm using the latest version of Audition on my iMac ios 10.13.4. I record and then go back and listen. No problem. Then I hit record again and several times this evening, I hit record and it records silence. I can see the audio on the meter so audio is getting through the DAW to Audition. I'm not recording tracks in a session. I'm recording directly into the editor. I've restarted my computer several times. This week I updated Audition and the iOs on my iMac. I can't get it to record until I shut everything down and restart the computer. Then when I open up the computer it works. But there was a weird glitch on one. I couldn't get it to record any more on the track. So I created a new WAV so I could complete my work. This is maddening. Please help.
While using Adobe Audition with 3 different audio files in the Multitrack, I found that the system had suddenly deleted half the audio in one of the files. At the 40 minute point of the audio, the file was just silent. No amount of amplifying could reproduce the audio. As well, when mixing down just prior, it had given me a file with audio wave forms, but no sound. Upon saving that file and rebooting the computer, I found the file to now also be completely silent, and without wave forms. I'm not sure anything can be done now, just curious if anyone else has had this issue, and if it relates to the recent Apple updates.
Any help with this would be appreciated. When pasting, and often when choosing "Silent", simply cutting or deleting, or even when auto healing, I get artifacts at the beginning and/or the end of the selection modified. Not always, so I don't understand why.In the linked example, I am trying to patch a selection with a similar selection (I know) because of a cough from the audience. "Healing" the cough just didn't work in this case as you can see from the problem area. See the copy and paster results in the attached video.Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,I'm using Adobe audition. How can I delete a letter from a word without denaturing the prononciation ?Let say, I've recorded the word "bits" and I want to remove the letter "s" from that word. I've seen by the past a tutorial on youtube, but I can't find it again. Can someone post a link to a such tutorial ?Thanks
So I have a voiceover track that I want to start playing in a video I'm working on, but I also have music playing underneath. My current plan is to have the music start out louder, then fade to just barely audible underneath the voiceover. The problem is, currently, the music is WAY louder than my voiceover at the beginning. I was wondering if there was a way to make it perfectly even in audition.I haven't used audition much, but I'll try to keep up.
Hello,A few years ago I spent some $$$ purchasing the Adobe Creative Suite CS6 for my Mac.I'm now being told that the "App" is not optimized for your Mac, and basically in the future it won't work on my Macbook. Is there a 64-bit option available?Or, do I have to spend another great chunk of money to update? Seems a little unfair as Adobe isn't cheap. Thanks,
When I export my multitrack session, some of the resulting audio is at completelydifferent volumes than on the multitrack. Not all of it, just some clips of music and one of many voiceovers. No one at my radio station seems to know what's the matter or what to do about it. I'm not a high tech audio person, so please respond in simple language. Thanks!
