I'm just starting out as a voice over artist and use a USB Mic & Laptop to record into Audtion CC....Occasionally the quality is a little wispy / distorted. How many dual mono equalizers can I program using the AU CC2017? I need more than 120 equalizations with the 32 band eq.

We are recording 32 channels of Dante from two Dante cards on our Yamaha M7CL. All channels are mapped and they show input signal when we cue up recording. After starting recording everything appears to be fine. At the end of service it shows 1 hour 40 minutes have been recorded. However on playback, recording actually stops 6-7 minutes into the service.So, Audition thinks it is recording but recording actually stops after 6-7 minutes. Any suggestions on what to look for?

Hi,we are using audition for jingleproductions and commercials.Since the last update to 11.1.0.184 we recognize so destroying behavior when movign multiple clips or groups around.The previous aligned clips don't stay as they where put together but snap individiually to ruler, marker, clips as it would make sense for a single clip.Is there a way to get back the "old" snapping behavior which left the aligned clips together and only snapped with the first or last part of the move pieces?We need your help.BestSteffen

I have an odd situation with Audition 3.0 ... after I saved several files to the root of my E: drive, Audition has now saved more than a dozen entries in the Recent Folders list of "E:/".I'm thinking that whatever glitch caused it can be avoided by not saving to the root, but I can't find a way to remove all those superfluous and repetitive entries.  (Audition isn't supposed to save multiple instances of the same folder anyway.)Does anyone know where Audition 3.0 saves these entries?  My thought is that if it's a text file I can edit it manually, and if not, deleting it should force Audition to create a new blank one.Thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice.

At my office we are using two different versions of Audition across several computers, some newer machines have 11.0.1.49 and others have 10.1.1.11. On the newer 11.0 versions we are running in to an error when checking the statistics using Amplitude Statistics where it is essentially reading Channel 1 correctly (verified with other, older versions of the program) but instead of supplying unique statistics for all other channels the statistics page shows the Channel 1 statistics across the board. We have verified all settings and preferences are identical but running in to the same problem on every computer with the newer version. Here is an example of a file with a Full Mix on 1/2 and a 5.1 package on channels 3-8, but as you can see from the statistics they are all measuring the same; the first channel's statistics.This is the same file read on the older 10.1 version. As you can see the Channel 1 measurements are the same, but 2-8 are read properly and separately.Is this a known issu

I am recording voiceover clips with a Blue USB microphone. The clips are generally short, 30 seconds or less. I'm running into a strange problem - around 15 - 20% of the clips, when I play them back, are either 1) cut off before I finished recording or 2) the last 5-10 seconds of the clip is in fast-forward (chipmunk voice). Haven't been able to find a solution or potential cause for this, any suggestions would be very appreciated. Frustrating having to re-record a good chunk of my material!Thanks!

Hello all --I just downloaded the demo version of Acon Digital DeReverberate to clean up the echo in my audio. It has done a fantastic job of getting rid of the echo, however, when I apply the settings to my audio, small pieces of the audio are completely deleted throughout the clip. It doesn't happen when I'm previewing within the Acon plugin, only when it's applied. Has anyone had this happen to them and know how to prevent it from happening?Before I got rid of the echo, I also got rid of the hiss and air conditioner in the room using the Noise Reduction Process twice. Here is a screenshot of the audio that has been deleted after the settings from the plugin have been applied. Thank you!

Adjust amplitude Not able to have direct effect when adjusting volume on expanded wave form with version 11.0.2. Replaced mouse batteries. no change. Works normally when changing the volume on the entire file or larger portions of the file.Uninstalled 11.0.2 and installed 11.0.  Adjust amplitude works normally on expanded waveform on version 11.0.

Does a limiter cut off data or squeeze data please?Also, I recall there being some tone control that looks likecurves in photoshop.  What is that effect please?Also, perhaps I want to minimize some harsh sounds ina track, like symbols.  I see where I can use healing brush or othersin the wave form to do some of that, but what if there are symbolsspread out all over the place?>Thanks !~Steve z

Hi everyone, my audition is not working and I need to get on with work! Please help. I've done the classic uninstall and then reinstall, and still nothing is working. It just says there's an issue and Microsoft will let me know when a solution has been found. I have checked my other Adobe packs and they're fine. Any suggestions? Tom

Hi.I'm having sudden issues with my Audition in multitrack view.When adding a edited clip which is limited to -0.1dB to Multitrack, it is clipping above 0.0dB.This is despite this tracking running alone (no musicbeds etc underneath).Why is this?I've searched the forums etc, and found that it could be because the 'Preferences - Multitrack' settings was set to CUT on the left/right channel, but it is set to -3dB center and it only just started happening after this weekend. I have been hearing that mixing in mono is the best way to get proper levels, EQ, and compression. I want to try this but I am only hearing one side of my headphones. How do I set up the Master Fader to mix in mono but still get the sound coming out of both speakers ?

When recording from a mixing console, strong interference, but when recording from a microphone, everything is fine. Question: can we somehow remove these interference from the recording?

I just installed Audition cc in hopes to work on some old recording sessions from a prior version of Audition. I believe from Audition 3. When I try to open the session file I get this error:Error: Media Foundation reported an error when opening the file. The byte stream type of the given URL is unsupported.Would be very disappointed if I cannot bring back these sessions (all the wave files are present in the same folder and I can load them in without any problems).I tried the import function but same result. Is it not possible to bring in older session files from Audition 3 or prior?

Hallo, seit gestern kann ich keine Multitracks mehr exportieren und ich weiß nicht wieso. Mache es so wie immer und habe meinen Mac auch schon neu gestartet, Audition neu gestartet und jetzt sogar aktualisiert. (Man muss dazu sagen, dass ich ein Audition-Neuling bin.)Ich gehe unter Datei > Exportieren > Multitrack-Abmischung > Ausgewählte Clips > ändere, wenn nötig die Abmischungsoptionen > OK.Und dann passiert nichts. Weder eine Fehlermeldung oder sonst irgendetwas.Habe ich etwas wichtiges vergessen und deswegen funktioniert es nicht?Bitte um Hilfe.LG Dajana

I've not been happy with the 5.1 Multitrack template in the latest update of Audition versus the previous version. I'm not sure if it's because something needs to be done differently in either mindset or settings, or if the changes just are detrimental overall and I should just go back to the old template.One thing is that  the new template doesn't automatically create a Track Panner setup and I have to do it all manually for each track. And when doing so, I've noticed a change - in the old template, if one looks at the Track Panner window, you would see a single line or spoke going from the center to wherever you chose (C, L, R, etc).  In the new template, you get a 'stereo' cone that has the L, C, R, etc as the center but a stereo spread of 30 degrees (so center is going from L to R with C as the center 'point'). And when bounced to Premiere Pro, the tracks are bounced as stereo channels not Mono.When exporting a multichannel Dolby track for DVD or Bluray using these newer

hello, my computer has died and won’t turn on! I had a couple of unfinished audio projects sitting in Adobe Audition waiting for final touches to be exported. I’m wondering if the Creative Cloud saves work in progress projects on Audition or of all of the projects that I left saved but unexported must be restarted. If i recover my hardrive, will all of my multitrack mixdowns in audition be recovered with it?? I don’t know a lot about computers so any help is appreciated.

I've been experiencing an odd problem with my sound files. I have been applying reverb, and afterward, I hear no sound, even though it appears to be playing. I have to save and close the file and reopen it in order to listen to it again.Thanks so much for any help you might be able to provide!

Hi Everyone!We have several Audition CC 2018 computers and a lot of them have a recurring sound issue.They are working on a project (@ 44100hz and 16bits) with the multitracks. When they are ready to export it in .MP3 (usually 320kbps), Audition CC loses the sound card (RME Hammerfall (Not Working)), they need to close and reopen the software and they are back in business...Our sound card is a RME HDSPe (PCIe) with a Multiface II box. It is setup in CC 2018 as ASIO @ 1024 buffer size.So far, here is what we have done :Switch sound card from ASIO to MME with 200 latency.checked off the "Force hardware to adopt same rate as the project"  (sorry for the bad translation, our installations are in French)upgrade CC 2018 to version 11.0.2update the RME firmware to the latest versioninstall a second sound card (M-Audio 192K) for everything coming out from the Web, Outlook, etc.  except for CC 2018. Leave input on RMEWith all that, the problem still persists.Do you guys have any clue

Hello,Can anyone describe how you create M&E? I know very well what it is just trying to understand process of separation music and effects from voice and possible recording requirements for it.Basically I want to know if you can create M&E every time or if there are cases when you cannot get M&E because of how show audio was recorded?For example you received just full mix. I will try to make this as easy as possible a question. I am teaching myself how to edit audio messages to be burnt to a cd for a non profit that needed the help. For the most part I've got down what the employer is looking for in his messages, but then it is burnt to a cd and people say they are having trouble with the volume levels when it is played in the car stereo. The employer prefers it to be done as an mp3 format although I would like to switch to a more universal format because we are finding most of those receiving the cd's have no way to play an mp3 outside of their vehicles (that may be slightly off track or maybe you could suggest another format as well) When it is played in the car stereo they say the volume is too low. When I have edited though I have the volume at its highest peaks almost right at 0db. The audio messages can go from talking rather intimately to being very animated and rather loud as well so I have had to try and normalize it and compress it to make it a
